The "naked guy" is called Orca if you didn't know. And (might be spoiler-ish to some people) they're not actually the characters from the previous games. BTW, your signature's too big; the maximum height is 100px.   |

About the forest of pain, considering a lot the information I'm going to metion is "known", I'll just say it without spoiler, even though some may consider it to be. If you don't want to know, dont read. If I remember right, in Roots, Haseo completes the Forest of Pain and get booted up to the 3rd (Reaper) form. Since we know that Haseo returns there in the 3rd game (thx to nablix above), and my assumption would be that Haseo would get the third form at that point... In actuality, I saw a picture (on the dothack website) of the Forest of Pain and the Xth form in one... So the question is, how does he get it? (don't answer, as close as we are to the 10th, I don't want to know...) Right, so that leaves two situations to the matter of the L.O.s, and me wanting this sooner than ever. Oh, and there are videos on the dothack website too! @nablix: If you beat vol1 and 2, you can read a summery on Wiki, along with the vol3 one if you really have to know (trust me, you don't.)

So why is it 10th form where did 4-9 go? i just know he can do data drain without going into avatar form. I havent seen the new avatar pics yet but I have a feeling the story is going to have aura in it and we might have to fight cubia too. i also heard we get to meet the creator again too.

The "Xth" comes from the idea of variables in math. Example: Solve for x: 3x+45=81 Basically, it stands for a number you do not know, and since the Xth form is "outside the system", they used a variable because they don't know what form it is. And for you math idiots, x=12. :D -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok, all math aside, we're getting close to the date. :O

the .hack//gu games are awesome and so much better then the old ones,after playing the 4 old games i wasnt going to buy gu but i wanted to k more about the story so i just tryed it out and it was awesome , the changes to the battle system are cool and the game story is good. the anime though isnt that fun, they talk alot, i mean alot and the fighting isnt so good but because of the story its worth buy or dling well ^^  |

| Roots was needed cuz without it it would have been a 8 month gap with no story in between. Also i still haven't heard of anything after The Returner anyone know what teh next series of hack will be? |

Ok, your true "Terror of Death" here. I got the game on the 11th (first possible day, it shipped the 10th), popped it in, and loved it more than ever. Btw: The Xth-form is to die for! :D

I liked the whole storyline, it's good, but not as good as the previous 4 part .hack games, the VA's are not too bad.... 8/10 for VA, 9.5/10 for gameplay and 8/10 for storyline.

hey there im new here but im a huge .Hack//G.U. fan. at this point a lot of u may know that the "forest of Pain" on the third games is actually a secret dungeon. also anyone here got the Doppel weps from G.U. 3? i wanted to know how they are @-@ i got them on the second and they ruled. for instance the doppelganger scyte on the second G.U. (the one u get) had 10% chance to take 90% of the enemy actual HP and it steals HP and SP. so im quite curious to know what the G.U. 3 ones do.

i fought doppelganger once and got a dual gun DX-0 or DX-G cant rmb it's design the same the blade it's yellow but the gun is black x.x i luv the white 1 since haseo is all white 2 day i finish everything in vol.3 i wan totally crazy of .hackgu  |

I'm currently playing the Forest of Pain and killing the doppelganger. ~Forest of Pain: Easy when your are my level (142), lol. ~Doppelganger: Use Beast Awakening, not "Drain Heart" like I have been doing. :D

The Dopp's items in GU3 are gun,armour and acessory. (of course which requires to have dopp's key items from previous games) Doppelganger is pretty easy once you get your x-th form (then again doppelganger was still pretty easy before you get the x-th form) I should try to see all the marriage events |

the hack//G.U. series!!! is the best!!!! better than the series that the main character is Kite!!! i have them all!!! i really like the Xth Form!!! using Dual Gun!!! but i'm having problem on the Doppleganger!!! damn it!!! if i can defeat it i can get a pair of new dual gun for haseo!!! the gun name is!!! @Kurosaki ichigo-I think the guns that the doppelganger gives you is DG-Y...Anyways..Here are some tips.well I dont know if they work for you or the others but they did to me... -Make sure your level 150 and have atleast three 3rd art skills(e.g. Reapers Dance) -Make sure you have the Lost weapons' final forms for your Party(I used Endrance and Atoli) -use the Beast Awakening and he'll fall easy -and whatever you do dont change weapons when fighting him.Coze the moment you do the doppelganger changes his and he wont recive the damage. -Make sure you have atleast lvl 140+ equipment on your characters so that you have good defence. -Last and the most important is:Patience. Well..Im not saying thats full proof but it worked for me.  |
