when maes hughes died, I realiezed something. it is that even an anime hero can die with a gun XD. I am den almost saddened when his daughter was shouting on the funeral "why are they burying daddy? please daddy, wake up! wake up!" That just saddened me. Ouch. |

wel i think one of the saddest anime parts its when kagome arrives from her house wihtmedicine fodd etc etc..and inuyasha its wiht kikyo and she hides behind a tree ans watchs how kikyo and inuyahsa kiss..... then kikyo goes away ans inuyasha sees kagome..andshe goes running..thast really.....really...sad...u_u i think thats one of the lil naime staht made me cry |

Grave of the Fireflies made me cry. So did Fullmetal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop, and Death Note. Oh, and let's not forget The End of Evangelion. That made me depressed for a few hours.  |

- Naruto (Lots of moments that involved deep speeches and losses, but the one moment that tore me apart was when Sakura confessed her feelings to Sasuke) - Inuyasha (Kikyou's final death because of the song that was played and Inuyasha's guilt) - Sailor Moon (Sad, sad moments like when Sailor Moon wanted the power to save Sailor Saturn) - Full Moon wo Sagashite (The heartwarming speeches) - Cardcaptors (The speech that Sakura made to the Nothing near the end of the 2nd movie) |

In terms of anime, none beats Air on sadness factor. The Asahina scene of Rahxephon was sad too, but no where near as much, nor was FMAs quite so much. Though I'd have to say, the original game's ending of the Fate route in Fate/Stay Night was truly the saddest moment in anime related material for me, but that's not the show.

Fruits Basket...the episode of Hatori and Kana, the episode of Kyo's past, the episode where Momiji tells Tohru about his mom (T-T) so sad...

Nothing compares to the ending I just saw with Chrno Crusade. It's such a heart breaker and I think this is the first time I shed tears for such an anime. I might be made fun of if my friends found out I cried over an event in anime. I don't really care. These are my true emotions. T-T [edit] I also think the theme music portraying the ending of Chrno Crusade, really bring out the true emotion of the scene. When it started to play, I started to get that feeling where the tears would come gushing out.

I don't know about you people, but the whole thing about 5 Centimeters Per Second made me cry, and I couldn't even understand the last two episodes, because they were raw. It was a a cold slap in the face from reality. Other than that one anime, I've never seen anything else that I would even consider sad.
Uhh... I know I'm supposed to put something here, but I forgot what...

what got to me the most was when in samurai x reflections when kenshin and kaoru ran towards each other and when they finally embrassed each other and after a few minutes kaoru checked to see if kenshin was ok only to see that his scar faded away which was a sign that he died...  Part of the new age Gendou RP veterans: Kira, Rukia, KM Revolution, Smoker, Avian, L, and Ryu. |

| Sad anime I know is Air, Nobody's Girl to name a few.. In Air,its about a girl who has been orphaned and taken by her aunt.. In Nobody's Girl, about another orphaned girl who's seeking for her true parents.. Just like Ashita No Nadja.. I can tell a sad moment in Fate Stay Night.. When my fave characters die.. Oh, yeah.. for all animes, The saddest part is always the last episode.. |
