Wow, an AMV thread. Awesome. Hi, I'm new here, but you may have seen me in such films as.. oh wait. Let's try that again. I am new to this forum, but I am a regular at the AMV.org forums. I have downloaded and watched hundreds of AMVs and happen to posess a couple hundred which is over 12gb of memory. Having seen so many videos, and being a regular on AMV.org, I know what a quality video has. So I think I'm going to do my own AMV of the week. I promise you, most of the videos I'll post will make you laugh, cry, smile, dance, get excited, or go crazy. For finding videos, I would avoid Yew-tube. 90% of the AMVs on there are subpar, and most amv.org regulars have an utter hatred of the video site. I'd get an account at AMV.org, check the forums, and they have links to the best of the best. All right. I see Quid Pro Quo is already posted, that's one I have downloaded. I also see the Chibi Cloud video and Beer Song video are also posted. Excellent. I'm going to post several for my first post here. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ First off, AMV Hell. I'd recommend getting these off the website, but if you want to watch the crappy yew-tube versions.... AMV Hell 1 (Parental Guidance Suggested...no really) AMV Hell 2 (I'm serious about that parental guidance on this one O.O!) AMV Hell 3 O_O (On yew-tube, amazingly enough!) AMV Hell 3 in parts (for all you slow-band users): Part 1 ~ Part 2 ~ Part 3 ~ Part 4 ~ Part 5 ~ Part 6 ~ Part 7 ~ Part 8 AMV Hell 3 Deleted Scenes: Part 1 ~ Part 2 And the only really good clip in all of AMV Hell 3 if you want to skip watching all the rest of that crap: Star Trek Meets Outlaw Star AMV Hell Championship Edition: Part 1 ~ Part 2 ~ Part 3 (more parental guidance and all that bull) Edit: Ah sorry, yew-tube sometimes crashes my browser... where was I? Big D: almost every one of the videos you posted has been on the AMV.org's recommended list, and we already mentioned the AMV Hell series I believe.

Yes, AMV Hell was mentioned but no links were provided, so I added the links for those who may have not seen it or know how to get it. Also, you say "every one" which means more than one. Besides the Hell videos, I have actually only posted ONE video here, as you can tell by my post above. There's only ONE video embedded in my post. And I don't know about any "Recommended list" at the ORG, I've never seen it. Some people here have no idea what the ORG is. Many of them might not even know what this "recommended" list you claim to exist is, or where it's located (I sure don't). Nor do I expect them to. I assume that everyone here has never been to AMV.org just to be nice because I have no idea if they've been there or not and I don't want to assume they have or know what it is. Anyway, this is gendou.com, not amv.org. End of discussion. Notice my use of the word "almost" in addition to 'every one'....I'm not trying to be condescending... In any case the recommended list I was referring to was the one they email you if you're on their newsmail list (you can subscribe to it by going into the newsletter section on the sidebar). For example, here's the highlights from March: You'll need to login first though before you click this They tend to get most of the good ones with their recommendation lists every month. And then there's also the Viewers Choice Awards held every year (also accessible from the sidebar) Being a die-hard Fate/Stay Night fan I can't help but recommend the AMV simple titled Emiya. It's no longer on youtube but you can download it from AMV.org here I'd be surprised if there was a person on this thread who didn't have an animemusicvideos.org membership, but if you don't you really need to get one and it's FREE. I'd recommend more videos but I'm feeling lazy right now.....it's 10PM where I am now and I feel like watching a bunch more I just found to see if they're good or not.

Well, yea, but the Newsletter is only available to those who are members of the Org, and I'm not going to assume people here are. I asked about a list at the org, and they said that maybe you were talking about the top 10% (Which Euphoria is at the top), top stars, top comments (Euphoria's #1 as well), the VCAs, which all require membership as well. And this is this board, and this site, not that site. All I'm worried about is if I posted something that someone else posted in this thread. I don't care about who posted what somewhere else, because that's somewhere else and most people here aren't going to check there. Speaking of Euphoria, since I mentioned it... Just use the Youtube link above to watch it. There's about 50 copies of this video on Yew-tube. Geez. This is considered by many the one AMV with the most special effects of any video, and it's been spoofed a couple times (like on AMV Hell 3, the clip of Osaka after the intermission). It's just packed with all sorts of great effects. Edit: You gotta be kidding me. Am I the only one posting in this list? Makes me wonder if I should even bother. |

Sure, you can show any amv you'd like here so long as it isn't too inappropriate (keep it PG-13 or below). Personally made AMVs are welcome!

My AMV doesn't entirely make sense. It's Pokemon with the song saber dance. Basically, the characters of pokemon are putting on a show with singing, dancing, and stunts. Enjoy, or not. How'd I do? |
