Err... This is not a poem, I made this as a lyric... And the translation is awful... ^^' But what the heck, poems are the basic for lyrics right? LAST SPURT OF BREATH *The void that echoes strongly Restlessness and hesitation Only adding bitter facts to Unpleasantness that dominates Why do people easily give up? Wahahaha.....finally this thread ressurects. After doctor? and skyalchemist left, this thread is dead. Now my turn, a little poem... Under the blue sky Wind breeze softly Sun shining over my head I lying above the grass Peace Silent I like it I always like it But everything changes Sky were no longer blue, they are black Wind blows, carry the sign of death Sun hiding fearly behind the dark clouds I running Holding my guns Shooting Killing (dedicated to every soldier in every place that still carry and shots their guns. Okay... I made this when I was desperate coz I was caught cheating on the chemistry test, resulting a zero score. And that made my average score for chemistry become 39 ^^'. Whew... That time my head felt like it was going to burst... ^^' CRUMPLED PAPER Today, only a paper Crumpled and left in front of me Dry laughs and jokes Can only heal the wound for a bit “Silence†and “I’m disappointed†are obvious Straight coming from the looks of that eye The laugh that covers and vagueness Close me that laughs in the darkness Not strong, and afraid to try Even my voice creates disharmony with “I can†This cruel world that never gives a chance Or I’m the cruel one to waste those chances? The strong feelings to stab this heart Stopped by the powers of invisible ropes How coward am I That even my own life I can’t take And far more coward To even think of suicide Even tears won’t come out Buried under the dry laugh That is empty within the emptiness itself

ive been playing the cards in my hand is it a jack or an ace? you always took the pace and win over the play i have been in your shadows for too long that i cant see straight to the light and every gong of the ticking clock is like signals for me to die even though im in your back i didnt reach for you i didnt care for you i didnt respected you and i sure did not love you everytime im with you it feels like vommiting the mere presence of you ahead of me makes me sick to the stomach i want to push you aside and watch you fall now i can see the tears of your selfishness those tears that i once cried where now unto you now..maybe now you understand what ive felt.. now go the darkest room go the ticking clocks go the place where i once mourned prayed and cried for you to die  |

It's jolly here, day and night Alas, a pity you have lost your sight My face, my sorrow, my love, can you see? But, no matter, it is for you I bleed Opening my mouth, I try to speak Rest in peace, hidden tears about to leak East side, you said, you want to be buried Dead as you are, I doubt you won't be worried -- I'm so bored. This poem has been made right now: I walk along this road beaten and battered numb to the pain so I carry on aimlessly walking walking forever walking no destination no anything feeling so old clothes worn and tatterd what is there to gain In this world of "opportunity" resting and waiting for what...waiting for.. a little thing called... PEACE

Wow I haven't noticed this thread until a while ago! Alright! I love poetry! I've made many poems since 5 years ago, but unfortunately, it's all in Indonesian and I'll have a hard time to translate one into English. Well, whaddaya know? A place for us gendoulian subjects to post poetry! How exciting!! ... and since most of the poems I've read here so far have been mildly to suprememly disturbing, how about I post one that's neither. Although I must be honest.. 13 pages of poetry is daunting,so I did not read all of it, but I did read some from the beginning and ending pages. I love metaphors, and it's fun to see what people come up with. Rey! How magnificently morbid, I love it! Ok, now here's my poem: Cast No Shadow The fire is burning bright Help me spirits of the night Sing your song of firelight Show me if my path is right The firelight is flickering Does that mean you’re whispering? Shadows, cease your bickering Tell me, tell me everything In the mountains to the east Sleeps a great and awful beast By the fire in your hand It shall wake at your command In the ocean to the west Hidden power laid to rest By the fire in your soul Call upon the burning coal Warnings written in the smoke Promises are kept and broke In the fire of your mind Answers you are meant to find In a cloudscape up above Hidden is the heart you love With the fire in your eyes Lift your gaze unto the skies The light, it is dimming, The voices cease singing The silence is ringing As air begins sinking Falling and wading, hiding and grazing Laughing and humming and winking. i prayed for your death and hoped your breath shall end.. and i wake up with one wish on my head that shadows shall take you away.. the roars of agony has piled up leaving me crawling in mud the memories of those fights are burnt in my hand the scars of each wound would take me far away from home my body is on the bed but my thoughts are in your head thus i am no longer rock but a doll made by you controlled me..used me.. youve been my master and god and so i pray as you play with my strings that someday.. someday.. your breath shall end. and ill laugh on that day.. |

Each step I take, Rings heavy throughout the Earth. My slow and pounding tread, Brings pain and sorrow. Ice falls through my veins, As my heart no longer beats. My frigid soul, Lays frost upon my words. Heaven would strike me down, Were I not already dead. Hell would take me in, Would its fires not freeze by my touch. Left to wander the Earth, Full of endless gall and hatred. A frozen soul, In the shell of a man. Geez... I'm not in too good of a mood right now, am I?
