whoa!! so much posts suddenly! i cant even remember everthing that was said. nahh, my school isnt that wonderful. nopes, there's no such official existence of a manga/anime club. but my classmates do bring their own manga books to school and swap with others and read [during lessons, most of the time X)] and sometimes you have a group of ppl bugging/nagging at another person to read faster cause they wanted to read that manga book. oh and you have to take queue numbers sometimes, for popular manga lyk death note, haha. X] but its quite fun to share our manga stuff. hmms, for anime.. hardly actually. its quite inconvenient to bring cds to school. school's quite strict, btw. and ppl lyk me obvious cant bring pirated/burned stuff across the spore customs!! they're damn serious with this kind of stuff. nopes, i dont ever want to end up in jail heh. X)) hmphh, elin, if hollywood or some other ppl wants to remake the death note movie in their own context.. i think lots of death note fans would comment till those ppl drown in a olympic-sized swimming pool of spit. i dont agree either.

| I think, many Malaysian/Singaporean school dont have their own anime/manga. I think, in Malaysia, the most popular and biggest anime/manga club established in an education institute (universities/schools..) is Multimedia University. They have Emina. ( I think too much :) ) |

MMU is very active in animes, mangas and also organizing crosplay's competitions. Ermm.. I used to attend one of them --> just come and look only (not creative in making costumes ma..)^_^ Makan nasi berlaukkan telur? It's good what.. What a very good diet. But dun eat like dat la since it's almost (or already) winter. U know what, one of my cousin in Seoul (studying) also has the same 'diet' as u. But her diet isn't as healthy as u cos instant noodles(malaysia's noodles)is the main and only choice left for her at the end of every month (not enough money all the time).... Last hari raye, she sent her new pics and she looks so skinny..Even berbuke puase pun makan maggi..... such a poor gal... Oh yaa.. dun forget to save more money to support us (redberrie, owdee and myself) to go to Japan to company u to watch Death Note... hahahaha @redberrie and owdee Juz imagine this.. - Orcaz has to save a lot and a lot of RM just to invite us to watch D.Note with him. Bayangkan ek... Dapat tiket g Jepun, pastu pergi Osaka jumpe Orcaz. Pergi tgk wayang ngan Orcaz and Pastu amik tiket fly balik KLIA.. So, it becomes.."One day trip to Japan".... - Sorry ye orcaz, gurau je.. ;) p/s: I wonder whose post will be the 1111th?... I jus wait and see..

Yea, I'm Malaysian too ^_^ Anyway, I started being interested in anime when they first started airing it on Malaysian TV (Transfomers ,Robotech) and I've been hooked ever since. Yea, I have to agree that most anime on TV caters to children (which is their primary target here in Malaysia) and I have to say that sometimes their VA can be pretty bad although I have to say that the Naruto dub is decent (I watched the subs as well) that they actually DO try to sound exactly like what has happened in the sub. About anime otakus being mostly teenagers and adults ,yes I agree about that part but you must also know that most children begin watching anime from a rather young age and thats why there is anime for children as well. Because the genres covered by anime is so far and wide, it just about caters for every person there is (there's mecha anime, mahou shoujo, shounen and even hentai) anime popularity has exploded around the world. Looking at my collection of anime and OSTs I've collected (not including my downloads) it fills a whole plastic tub as big as 4 computers (the tower casing) stacked side-by-side. Lets not mention my massive manga collection as well ! >_>";;  |

@sh4H Actually its 4 tubs of anime and OST CDs combined. That would include a heck of a lot of game OSTs as well (particularly my Guilty Gear OST collection) which I collected over the years. And yea, I know a guy who is a member of Emina @ "Money Making University" aka MMU lol. p/s : My nick is a romajinized version of the name 'Dis-Astranagant', a Banpresto Original mecha featured in Super Robot Taisen Alpha 3 |

Setting up a manga/anime club in my school seem almost IMPOSSIBLE as manga and CDs are not allowed. You can't even have lyrics or even keychain with anime pics.  |
