I guess I just tend to look at it a bit more like how Xiaonewbiez said... @Xiao: ....Gundam does change...unfortunately. And many times not for the better. I could go on about how I think Gundam X was the last alternate universe gundam show that was decent and how Gundam 00 and Seed were awful disconnected attempts at either replicating the Universal Century(Seed/Seed Destiny) or just using the Gundam name to sell something when it really doesn't seem to have a cohesive plot (00), but this isn't the place to do that so I'll stop there. The main thing that's bugged me though as a whole with this situation, is that they have this HUGE potential here to just try something new that at this point would pretty much be guaranteed to succeed. What I'm referring to is the whole subplot with Ushio, and how they could for once NOT pull the whole stupid inexplicable death card, and instead show how Tomoya and Ushio move on in their life beyond what they have. Ending this show on the whole death thing again would pretty much banish Clannad back into the pit of "just another Key show", that so far has done so well to break that stigma....so this really just frustrates me.
