The scores will be up tomorrow! *can't wait* I've already got a few favorites picked out and I'm eager to see if the judges like them as much as me. XD I've been working on songs for next season while I wait for the scores to be posted. The song production and recording is hard enough but I've been wanting to up my video production level so I've been "experimenting" and researching. All the new info and programs are enough to make my head spin. *wishes she had someone to do the video for her* |

| It really is a nuisance that 4shared changed its site. Too bad no one thought to ban 4shared before round 1 began. :/ I do, and I'm sure everyone else does too, appreciate the effort on the parts of the judges to determine the round 1 winners. If round 1 was open to public voting, like in the past, I think the inability for some to view 4shared files would have skewed the voting against those contestants who used the site. |

I agree AkakuSakura. I didn't find the problem with 4shared until I started to judge the entries. It's bothersome, which is why we are banning 4shared entries for Round 2. |

10 hours of torture left! I can't wait to see the results of this round... the additional time is probably really a life-saver to some of the people who have to or want to record new songs instead of using old ones for the next round. Also 4shared changed like that a while ago already, actually, if I'm not mistaken :/a Well, not like it makes it any less annoying. I honest skipped the entries posted of 4shared although I listened to every single other entry haha ;; Good thing it's banned from now on, really.  |

If I knew 4shared was such a nuisance I would have changed it, however I was unable to post the box.com entry because the Gendou website kept telling me I didn't write Gendou Idol Season 8: aya_me in it, which was not true, so I got mad and uploaded it on 4shared. 8D |

@AkakuSakura If you're just worried about music than just worry about music equipment like mics and such. I can't be much help with actual programs though that is a bit of a hassle as well. I can tell you more next year if I get into school for Music Production/something related. 4Shared did indeed change though it's quite random. Some entries I was able to just listen to the song while others I had to wait for some commercials to end and some just didn't work. 4Shared definitely changed since the last time I used it... which was last season of GI, so yeah quite a while ago. Maybe that bill that didn't pass messed up their site? XD @Pame I finished. Just a sidenote, next time message the judges before the actual competition starts. XD!! I like 4Shared guess it's just mainstreamed out now so it's starting to suck... Some entries who used 4Shared were really good too. I had a hard time judging with time because I was really busy with personal stuff plus I replayed a lot of entries over and over. ^_________________________^

I will explain. This season, only the judges will decide who will make it to round 2. This also narrows the choices (30) down so in the following round (2) members will have an easier time voting for who they like, etc. Or would you want to listen to 103 or so songs like we did and vote? Your choice... XD But yeah I'm sure 30 or so users will make it to round 2, how the system will work is either by average scores or something different, depending on Pame. In round 2, same thing applies for entries as round 1 however avoid using 4shared for this season. Round 2 after scores are posted, voting will be open to the public. Everyone can vote. Hope that clears up any confusion. Any more questions ask. I'm also not sure how long it'll take until round 2 though it might be quicker because of Pame extending the deadline. It's also recommended in advance that you always have at least 2 songs ready before entering GI. Oh, I also talked about this last season. Wondering myself how many rounds total there will be this season. 103 > 30 > ? (10-15) > ? (3-10) > ?? I think last season I wanted something where the final 10 ends up as the final 3 or so. I forget.

| Much appreciation to the hard work of judges listening to so many entries. This will probably be addressed soon, but the scores are now visible, even though not all judges have finished scoring. Probably just some delay between what goes on behind the scenes and what is shown on the site, right? |
