High five man I sorta hope that they make it top 30 -crosses fingers- that was alot of alt clicking to see scores though xD. did oyu see that result where gendou linked some picture except the guy was like "please don't direct link my pictures ..." |

Hm...I'm kinda confused on the score that I got. I don't disagree that I didn't do too well, however, I am puzzled on why I got a 1 on technique. I'm aware I was flat, but seeing the words "bad pitch" confused me quite a bit. Was I knocked down to a one because I dropped an octave? I didn't think it was THAT "Poor, uncomfortable to listen to, needing substantial improvement."

Wow.. I have flaws on my singing... :( And the judges' comments are spot on. I'll use this experience (even though just a little bit) to improve. Thanks. I really appreciate it :D |

[@kirby503] Do you know what bad pitch means? It seems you do not. I don't really want to discuss why who got what, but it seems you're gonna be bothered by this for a while so I'll explain. I gave you a 1 because what you thought you didn't sound like, did to me. Your pitch was a major issue, you were flat throughout most of the song. You also chose a bad song for your tone of voice and vocal range, which also deducted points. You're not the worst singer in the world because you got a 1, but you lacked more positive than negative. Now I'm sure with practice and maybe another choice of song would make for a better entry next time. You can take what we said into consideration or just hate me for it and say I'm a loser, whatever floats your boat. I might've been harsh with some of the lower scored entries, but that's how it went for me. It was nothing personal. You shouldn't get bent out of shape with a friggin' 2, it's not like it would've increased your score dramatically... So practice, try again next season, and go for a 3, 4, or even surprise us with a 5!

I knew my overall score was gonna be affected by my off-vocal track >_< @Gendou- I am aware there is an instrumental for rolling star but only for the original version, and not the acoustic version which I wanted to do more, so I went with a poor off vocal version. Still, it was a risk I was willing to take so I'm not gonna complain, I just thought I'd explain to the judges why my instrumental was like that since you all commented/asked about it XD Anyway, I really appreciate the critique I got from you guys! It's the main reason why I join Gendou Idol, because I want advice on my singing so that I'll get better, so thank you so much to the judges for listening to my cover! I'll still be voting in the next rounds (can't wait to see the ones who will move on to the next round) but I'll see you in GI8 ;) |

Great round! Perfectly agree with my scores though unfortunately didn't make it ;'p Still haven't managed to reach second round out of 3 tries but hopefully next year! I will definitely have to work on production and pitch -.-;;; Thanks judges for the very helpful comments! ;) Hope I get more 5's next time! |

First of all, thank you to all the judges who spent their time to listen to my cover. Im glad that all the judges scored my cover and Im really happy with the given scores and comments. Comparing my previous cover and this one, I could somehow understand more on which area I should improve on and what songs to choose next time. :) Cheers to all~ And congratulations to those who will be going to the next round~ ^o^/ |

OH yea! Thank you to the judges for judging, thanks for your time. I'm happy that I got a MUCH better score than Gendou Idol 6. I'm ecstatic with the scores >< The constructive criticism will be noted as well, hope to do better if my future singing. Congratz to everyone going to next round. |

Ok, so maybe I'm a dummy, but I'm a bit confused as to who won the first round? I'm pretty sure anyone with a score of 18 or more did, but can someone please explain it to me? Thank you ^^

The winners of the first round have just been highlighted in the first round entries, here: http://gendou.com/idol/round/7 . Everyone with scores from 17 and up made it through. Congratulations! Not only to the winners of the first round, I'm also happy to read that people are happy because they got better scores too ^^. I also want to thank the judges (again) for their time and patience :) . I must say, though, that I'm a bit confused 'cause the only feedback I got was that the volume of the music was a bit louder than it should have been, but fortunately I'm kinda aware of the other mistakes I made in my first round entry. |

Aw, I didn't make it. Oh, well. Congrats to everyone who made it in! It seems the judges have quite a thing for cute voices, and there are a lot of them this time around. I wish I had one. ^^;; Regardless, thank you to all of the judges for listening to so many songs and working so hard. Next time I'll be sure to sing even more of my heart out, and do better than my best. Good luck to everyone! I'll be sure to vote this round! Pick cute songs! ;D |
