Lady Rin, my first instinct would be to do a 1px border around (not inside of) whatever you'd like to keep, sans antialias or fading, in a really obnoxious color and then use a different color for the background. Have both of those crazy colors be set to transparency, and what remains is only what you'd like to stay there. Time consuming, but it works for most of my projects! Diciples of the Greyhound |

I'm speechless at the number of works put on! Lady_Rin, I like the simple colors used for the girl, especially the very light blue (I'd say baby blue or sky blue, but I'm a novice at specifically naming colors) . Does this mean Ranger thinks of you as very shy? åƒé³¥ãŠãƒãƒ“! Wow! I love the cover! Just by looking at the pose and expressions on their faces, I guessed about the same as what the dialogue! What's next one your mind as to what's to come? kirisuto_kyo, I'm jealous! I tried some drawings of my hand, but I always made it look like some claw... Oh well, more practice needed. For the pic you posted, I bet it would've looked great on a Valentine's card (specifically addressed of course hehehe...)! Was this all pen? Because I don't have that dark of lead even for my automatic pencil that I use to draw. |

Well i think everyone has inborn talents. I don't think I'm talented but just that I'm very enthusiatics with animes. I started to draw anime character when I was six and started to work harder on it when I was 15. I guess hard work does pay off ^_^ No one is perfect in this world. If you only equipped with 50% talent then work for the other 30-40% or perhaps a full mark for a perfectionist. That's what I think ^_^ coz mi-chan alwz put alot of efforts into my work. Don't feel bad about urself after seeing what other does better, use them as your target and encourage urself to surpass them (like what Hikaru of HNG did ^_^) Ja mata ne, mi-cha

Arbalest, I like the 1st and unfinished work best. I can't wait to see how the finished one will look later on. How did you manage to draw them like how it appears on the screen? Do you scan them or something? Drawing... it was something I was never really talented at even though I loved to do it. Lots of people would always make fun of my art, especially the Malon pic, and say that I too many mistakes here and there and whatever. But still I kept to my corner and kept trying to get ideas. In other words, I'm not a natural in drawing, I had to burn lots of lead and paper to get to where I am now. |
Re: u draw anime?

I stopped drawing when i was in 3rd year Highschool... my hands were kinda... shaking too much when i started to draw... @ Arbalest the first one seems to be a character from Chrono Crusade... the second is the typical intelligent maid char? the third seems to be inspired from Nakoruru of Samurai Showdown Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |
Re: u draw anime?

Meh. I don't draw anime characters to make it look extremely cool and to show it off to people or enter it at an art award place. I just doodle on the margin of my notebook while taking notes. Though I doodle so much, my teachers have all crowned me the King of Doodles. D: |
Re: u draw anime?

I drew Anime but i'm not good if i don't look on something ( anime image) but sometimes when i feel inspired I can drew without looking to any anime pictures. |

kuroineko, I like the work you posted here best because it reminds me a lot of a character that can keep a cool head like Seta from Love Hina. åƒé³¥ãŠãƒãƒ“, thank you very much for the dedication to everyone who loves to draw. There's a lot on my mind at once. I'm very happy that you wanted to draw again. This one must have taken you quite some time! All the purple is wonderful. But I like this one the best because it is different than the others. I mean that because the expression on her face is a smile, where nothing is troubling her at the moment. I'm not used to drawing mouths so a lot of times on my practices, I cover it with a cloth or hair or something. But this piece gives me a different view on drawing mouths instead of simple expressionless ones that's why. |
