[Washington Street Apartment, Sakuya's room. Midnight] Sakuya's hands twitched as she regained her consciousness. She stood up as she scratched her head, wondering to herself what just happened in that dream. She brushed her hair using her hand, only to feel that her hairstyle has changed. She turned her head down and noticed that her outfits has all changed. "M-MAID UNIFORM??! but but, When did I Change? Also, my hair? They are braided now?" She suddenly remembered in that dream, along with the strange man explaining things about this so called game she's now participating. As if a bucket of cold water were poured onto her head, she realized that she has to head to a certain location. "To the east broadway, huh. It's a straight path from here to there. Shouldn't take a while if I were to ride Luna-chan" Sakuya changed into her casual outfit and grabbed her jacket as she walked outside her apartment, towards a small parking lot just besides it. That's where the residence of the apartment kept their Vehicles. The sound of the engine of Honda CBR600RR was heard throughout the area as if howling for its prey. If there's one thing that'd be Sakuya's pride is this one little thing. A Black Secondhand Honda CBR600RR, 2006 model. She's not exactly a fan of Sports bike, but she liked the colour of the bike which is the sole reason why she bought it. Her favourite colour is obviously black as noted by her attire, Black jacket with black gloves and black leather pants along with her black leather shoes. "Alright then, Luna-chan.. Let's go!" Sakuya accelerated along with her last remark. That form of speech surely is weird to be heard among all new yorkers, however she probably got that one from one of those anime she often watched during her spare time. Somehow she's very familiar with that, possibly because it's her root afterall. A Black Honda CBR Left the apartment parking lot with a trail of dust and a moment later, the roar of the engine can be heard few blocks away already.  |

[Seward Park, 21.00] "Oh Shit" he said, he didn't realize that it is already midnight due to his friend project." i shouldn't help him" he said with a Regrets..... "Never mind, i need to go home now then" then he Walked quickly to his apartment. [Apartment, Jefferson Street, 21.15] Grey : Ow man, my place so dirty, i think i need to clean it up sometimes later but now i need to go to anywhere that i can sleep... then suddenly without thinking he's sleeping in his sofa. [DreamWorld] Suddenly Grey had just this weird dream. "Grey" an old man wearing a hat from straw said " It's time " then he catch a glimpse on everybody who wears a weird looking dress. He heard an Old guy called Nagase explaining somethings to the weird looking people. He want to ask the old guy what just happened, until he heard the Old man Nagase said "Now have fun! This dream ends... Now". But grey's dream isn't coming around just yet "Yo" the old man called Grey. "You may not know what's this is all about but later when you feel something's wrong, just go with your intuition" he said.for now just get your rest "

Krys was standing outside of their house, he left a letter for his sisters so that they would not worry even if it was a lie Krys: First let me have a stroll he jumped from the roof without any hesitation strangely enough though, even it was a manifestation but he felt that he is flying like that Majestic entity that he saw on the his parallel dream, he is not sure of what kind of possibility he could do however he could feel his power, the power over the element of fire Krys: But there are still many questions that needed to be answered... -he thought of a certain place, he is not sure that if they will there, but he though it as a tactical location, the place were humans could think basically and relax a bit the Central Park- -since no one cans sense or see him, he could act as a soldier in which he was used to be, his Russian SPETNAZ attitude was more evident and he was more evident than earlier, dodging humans and object alike, he could feel the wind around him, it made him think of a possible early battle- Krys: So it seems... however i do not wish for a battle this time... -he resumed his journey to his location, while maintaining his alertness and seriousness-  --> |

[West 132nd Street, Harlem | 12:15AM] He parks his car nearby and looked around. He could sense the card is still there. He looks at the rear view mirror. He couldn't recognize himself. He, or rather, she, now has long hair and clothes that looks like robes and a completely different face, although his height remained the same. "No matter how many times I look at myself, I really turned into a woman. Someone please tell me I'm not going to stay this way forever. I'm in my Protector form, so I might turn back to normal sooner or later, hopefully..." Zess sighs as he gets out of the car. He sensed the card was still around, but the only problem is, where exactly is it. Residential buildings are all over the place. But oddly enough, he knows that the card is not in the building. It's outside. He decided to trust his gut instinct and moves forward. |

[NYC, Acre Mansion (home)][Feb. 9th, 2010, Midnight] Graham opened his eyes. He heard the sound of the radio which he forgot to turn off, playing one of his favorite music. A song that's attached deeply into his heart. "What? Was that dream for real?", He murmured inside of his heart. It's not taking too long for him to realize that the feeling he had in the dream was still there, the "prideful" one. "Do I have the guts to look at the mirror", he thought and turned into the mirror across his bed. He was shocked that his appearance was completely changed. "Gold hair... green eyes... this is... Dad's younger self? And these clothes... It was that time's--", He suddenly felt a pain in his head, due to a flashback of the memory he wanted to erase the most. "Heh... is that so?", He grinned. Remembering what that person in his dream said "If that's the case, I'll win this contest no matter what.", He said with a grin, looking at the sky. "There are four cards right? If I recall it right... the United Nations HQ. Central Park. West 132nd Street, in Harlem. East Broadway." He said repeating that man's words. He then sneaked to the garage, heading to the black motorcycle that was used by Azuma. He didn't know the model thought. "it's decided, the shortest is in East Broadway.", He said, turned on the motorcycle. Strangely, no one heard the cycle's sound. "Heh, it's easier for me then.", He showed somewhat evil grin and went full throttle to East Broadway. |

Tanya [Hotel l Midnight] Tanya's eyes fluttered in, still trying to let the dream soak in. She sat up in bed and rubbed her eyes. She ran a hand though her hair and stopped. She had caught a glimpse of the strands, and they didn't look like her own blond locks. "What is this?" she said out loud. She jumped out of bed and ran over to the mirror, stopping to look at the strange clothing she was wearing now. When she made it to the mirror she screamed, half in fear and half in joy. "Oh my god! I have pink hair!" she squealed in excitement. "I've always wanted pink hair!" She then spun around and looked at the pink clothing she was now wearing. "However, I'm dressed like a Roman goddess. Weird, but I kinda like it..." She stopped and thought for a moment. "The Dream!" she shouted! "This must be a result of the dream! This is my protector form! Now what is my element?" She ran around the room looking for some sort of card, or sign that would give her a clue as to what her element might be. Then she remembered that they will slowly appear. There were four now, and she was closest to the United Nations HQ. She ran down the stares and into the lobby, she zoomed past the valet who didn't even seem to notice her. She found her red mazda and drove out of the parking garage. She flew though the still busy streets and parked in front of the United Nations HQ, she looked around to see if there were any other Protectors around.  |

Kail Ivanov [ February 10, 10 | 12:10 AM ] [ New York City | East Broadway | Lower East Side ] Kail had arrived to one of the locations, oddly enough the place was still very lively and some people were still around the area. Well it was New York, the country with no sleep. Kail then headed for the east side, searching for the card mentioned by the old man. He walked around, his long white robe gliding on the side walk. His golden eyes reflecting the light from the buildings. Kail: "I wonder where the card is..." The feeling was it was there, it was just a matter of time when it appears. Because maybe the card is moving about in the area of East Broadway, since it's presence seemed to be moving about. Kail: "I wish battles did not have to be involved." Kail contiued to keep searching. Hoping that he would not encounter any of the other candidates. It could cause some trouble when only getting this one card. Remember, you shall be in Protector Form when you awake, and then it is up to you to gather the cards. Now have fun! This dream ends... Now!" "AAAHHHHH!!!!" "Ye ji go back to sleep I just got back from partying!" "Sorry bad dream do I look any different to you." "No so let me sleep. And happy birhtday. My half aleep firend said. "Thanks I'm going to the bathroom." I left my bed and rushed to the bathroom and I shut the door.Behind me." "There is no way that I'll look any different then I do know it was all a dream right." I switched on the light and I was scared everything the old man said was true I was different I look amazing I wonder what my powers are. I left my hotel." "If i remember correctly that crazy old man said the card that is closest to was was West 132nd Street, in Harlem thats not that far I'll walk there I hope no one sees me thats after the card I most protect all them... [West 132nd Street, Harlem | 12:18AM] Zess, or rather, Gehenna, has been searching for 3 minutes now. She walked and walked, till she reached an empty house that is for sale. The thing she felt earlier, felt even stronger. "Hmm...so the card is here. Is it in the house? No, I doubt so..." Gehenna spoke softly. She looked around till she saw something, a soft glow on the roof, barely visible. "Is that it!?" She jumped right up to the rooftop and true enough, she found it. The card old man Hiroki talked about. She picked it up and looks at it. "But, for such a small thing...sure has a vast effect...earth will die if the third cycle is not drawn...? What a responsibility. I wonder what forces made these. I've played card games before, but this one's seems risky..." @Toyumi Say, are there any designs on the cards? If there are, what kinds of design are they? Also, does each individual card have names? |

Fenris [Central Park] Fenris had woken up from the strange dream and as he had been unable to continue sleeping had decided to check out, these cards the old-man had mentioned. He had arrived at Central Park, but couldn't see or feel anything out of ordinary, but then he felt something approaching, he turned around and saw nothing he looked all around, but still there was nothing odd insight. Then he looked up and saw an odd looking ball floating in mid-air. When he looked at it, it started falling down on him, he tried to dodge it but didn't quite make it. He felt as if he had been punched into every part of his body from all directions at once, but he didn't feel any pain, instead he felt different, stronger, than before. He looked at himself and found out that he was now dressed in some kind of long coat, there was revolver hanging on his belt, he scratched his head. Fenris: This must be the Protector form that old-man mentioned. He also felt something on his back he reached with his hand and pulled the thing out of it's sheat. It was a katana, finely made and it seemed extremely sharp. Fenris: So I'm some kind of samurai? That's pretty cool. He then glanced down and noticed that he was floating few feet off the ground, he was bit shocked and fell down as his power suddenly ceased. Fenris: So I control gravity? Hmm, what's that? He noticed something floating above the Central Park, something like a card. He also felt someone approaching. He was standing directly below the card, but as he didn't want to provoke an attack from whoever was coming he sheathed his sword and waited for the one coming towards him and the card.   |

Tanya [United Nations HQ] Tanya still didn't see anyone else so she jumped into searching for the card head on. She didn't know what her element was yet, but she had a feeling she would find out soon enough. She ran though the grounds at the UN Headquarters looking for your average playing card, like the kind she saw when her daddy played poker in the lounge back home. She looked under bushes in the mail slots around corners, the whole while she was careful to dodge security. "Perhaps I'm looking for the wrong type of card... or else I'm looking in all the wrong places" she thought to herself and then she looked up. Hovering above her head was a card glowing in pink. "Oh there you are." she said to herself. She looked around to see if anyone else was around, then went about trying to get the card down. |

OOC @ Kay: no names for the cards, it's like a basic deck (ace's 2's, 3's, etc.). and there is no special design, however the entire card is in gold, and the design is etched into it. @ ALL: When you get a card, after being in your hand for awhile it just slowly will disappear. it's just going back to the card pile (which is being guarded by Hiroki as he watches over the game going on since you can't use the cards in battle). but there is a tally being kept and stuff, so dont worry (it will actually be on the first post, next to your character and their element). [Nadia][Central Park][Feb. 10th, 12:15 AM] Nadia had been in the park by now and searched for the card for quite some time. I wonder where it is...? She kept on thinking. She decided to sit down on the bench, and take a little break. She looked up to the stars again, and again they twinkled at her. "Are they my power?" Nadia wondered aloud. She decided to test it out. She concentrated, trying to bring a star, or something, anything, down towards her. It worked, and a star slowly dropped down from the sky and into the palm of her hand. "Alright!" She exclaimed. She was excited about this. She continued to stare at the sky for awhile longer, and saw something that glowed. Only it wasn't a star. "Is that a card?" Nadia wondered. She stood up and got on the bench, and she looked harder. "It is!" She used the star in her hand, and threw it at the card. It worked, and it started to fall down from the air to the ground. Nadia quickly ran over towards it. As she ran to the card, Nadia noticed a man that was standing below where the card used to be. Her throw had knocked the card to the side by a few feet, so it was slightly behind and to the left of him. But he was dressed... Like a samurai? Another player, Nadia thought. She was ducking in the trees nearby the man. She could sense him, so he must have sensed her as well. Before he noticed that the card wasn't above him anymore, she quickly darted behind the trees near him, and snatched the card up from behind him. "Looking for this?" Nadia said as she held the card that he was guarding in her hand. It felt good to hold the card in her hand. "Should have gotten it while it wasn't claimed. Finders keepers, as they say." She laughed at her joke, and paused before introducing herself. A samurai player might be a helpful ally, so I better be nice to him, Nadia thought. She paused to think of a nickname for herself in this form (after all, she didn't want her identity to be known to the player, that could be bad) before she continued. "You can call me Celeste. As hinted from my name, I apparently was given the element of the celestial bodies- things in space such as stars." She sweetly said. She ignored his sword that was sheathed, what good was it to fight when she already had the card in her hands?  |

[Strauss|Room] I woke up instantly. I look around and saw my reflection on the window. The dream was real. I slowly got up. I should head for the central park. I glab my katana which is hidden in a cloth, and head out the door. I realize as I was running my speed has increase, and that I felt an unknown power within me. I finally reached the park. I close my eyes as my father had taught me and try to locate the card with my other senses. I felt a strong power close by yet is in the air. I head towards the direction where the power is coming from. As I approach I saw one of the candidate has arrived.  |

Kotaro Kiryu [ New York City || Kotaro's room || 12.02AM ] As the dream over, he instantly wake up. And he still in Protector form. Kotaro: Soo, it wasn't a dream eh? But that old man, he didn't tell me what soo precious bout that card. It doesn't matter, the only matter is, I'm gonna know more the details. United Nation HQ, Central Park, West 132nd Street, and East Broadway. I should head Central Park for starter. Then, he stand on the ground and feel the air energy flow inside him Kotaro: Soo my element is air eh? I wonder if I can use it properly... Hopefully I get back here before breakfast *sigh*. He rush out from his apartment, toward to Central Park. [ NYC || Central Park || 12.16AM ] As he arrived at Central Park, he noticed the existence of the card and also candidate. He usually don't rush, but instead, he use his air power, to lift himself up, and fly to the sky, and watch the event between the candidate. He want to observe the power posses by the candidate, and also what happen if one of the card held by candidate.    |

[East Broadway Metro Station, Near Sweard Park | February 10th, 2010, 12:39 AM] ??? finally stopped at the bus station. She had managed to dodge traffic, whent over walls, and through some yards to get there, she Just bareley broke a sweat. Alessa: (You're not that tired?) ???: (I guess this body is a lot more capable than a normal one. BUt, if the card game is real, it should be here.) ??? looked across union street to sweard park. Alessa: (Why do you think it's there?) ???: (This is close to the easternmost part of East Broadway. Seward park is an idea place to have a battle since it's noticeable and an area where there isnt too much risk of any damage should that occur. I'm just assuming grandpa tactically hid these cards in safe places.) ??? started to walk towards seward park, just a street over. There where lots of trees still bare from the winter, and it had a large central concrete area. Alessa: (What about the one in the United Nations headquarters?) ???: (Like grandpa said, none of the normal perople are going to notice a protector. Grandpa either dislkikes the UN or set it up that way to be more like a race to find the card in the building.) Alessa: (I cant belive you already thought about it so throughly) ???: (It just comes with only being able to think for all your life. But in the end it's all just assumptions.) ??? made it to the center of the park, and looked around. She was disheartened for a moemnt, and looked up into the sky trying to think of the next best place where to search. However, She saw a glowing object flying in around the trees. it flew right at her. Alessa: (A card?) ??? tried to catch it, but it flew paster her, leaving her feel a little disheartened. Alessa: (Nuts... I really wanted to see it. I mean, it's right there flying off all willy nilly.) Suddenly, the card bolted aginst the wind, and flew at ???, she instinctively caught it before it flew into her. ???: "...huh? Why did it just fly at me?" Alessa: "I just thought about it coming back at us." ??? looked down at the card, and then looked around the park, and smiled. She didnt have any intention of just grabbing the card and being done with it. It shone birhgtly in her hand, as if it gave off it's own light, but then the light faded. She smiled to herself. ???: "I wonder who'll come after us now." She was about to put the card away in her pocket when she felt Alessa's combat knife still there. Klaus had instructed her to bring with her just in case of an emergency. Alessa's phone was also there too. She put away the card and took out the knife. She scanned the park's landscape. Her fight was going to be here. She took the knife out of it's sheathe and inspected it. ???: "Until we find out what kind of element we have, we'll just have to make do with this."   |

OOC: you guys post REALLY FAST. Mind waiting up? @Toyumi: if a player holds a card, how will players fight over it? If it disappears, that's that. there's really nothing you can do about it. Maybe we can have the card transform into a battle arena or something, where no other candidates can disturb the battlers, and then the winner gets the card? The battle could be decided by whoever's knocked unconcious, forced out of protector form, or just ran away, out of the battlefield? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JAMES CARTWRIGHT [James' Room] James eyes, opened, in a fluid, quick, movement, and he jumped off his bed, still in protector form. He figured what the old man said was true. Whatever power he had, he would soon find out. He jumped out of his window and landed on the ground. he tried to remember theplaces the old man said, then they came to him. James: United nations HQ, Central park, West 132nd, and East Broadwaty. Hm... United Nations it is. A smirk came across James' face. he felt powerful in this new form and he liked it. He began running in the direction of the United nations, and slowly, he began to sink into the shadows, still running. It didn't seem to bother him, and before he knew it, he was gone. Next thing he knew, he was above grounds in front of the United nations HQ. A smile came across his face. James: It's here... I can feel it. He ran around the HQ and began to let his search roam wider, and sense the position of the card. he found the position of the card, but somehting troubled him, there was another player's presence there. He grimaced and continued running. When he arrived at the site of the card, he braced himself and called out. James: Stop right there! That card belongs to me! The heat of the moment was upon him, and before he knew it, purple flames were surrounding his hands. It wasn't any normal flames, it was the power of the shaodws. He pointed his hand at the card, an a beam of energy shot out of it. It hit the card and knocked it away from the competitor. That should do it for now. James: Seems like you're another competitor. Call me Dusk. That name suits me well. And as that card I stopped you from getting. I won't hand it over so easily. He chose a fighting stance, and was ready to fight. A serious look was upon his face, and he was ready. Dusk: Either step aside, and give me the card, or I'll take it from you forcefully.

[East Broadway Metro Station, Near Sweard Park | February 10th, 2010, 12:41 AM] Sakuya parked her bike nearby as she decided to go on foot to the park. She just have a hunch that the card is around here. Perhaps, as a normal person she has the most accurate instinct to guess. "Alright, let's start the search now shall we?" Sakuya put her helmet on the bike as she got off from it. She started walking towards the park as she begin wondering few questions. What if there's already another candidate? What if she has to fight? "It's not like it'll be a tournament or anything is it? It's just a game afterall" Sakuya came to a halt on her track as she noticed a figure of a girl with long black hair just went pass her. She sneaked out behind her, taking advantage of the concrete walls covering her view from Sakuya. Sakuha held off her breath as she saw her collecting a floating card with her bare hand. "Could it be that's the card that guy spoke of in the dream?" Sakuya thought to herself as she begin closing in. She definitely don't want to resort to fight the girl. However, It's in her nature to win at any game possible and that she hates losing the most. However, to her unfortunate she accidentally tripped over one of the pavement on the sidewalk behind The Girl with black hair (Alessa's split personality) "KYAH~!" Sakuya fell on the ground, head first. It's not that bad of an accident, but She rubbed her own forehead as the rough pavement scratched it a little. "Ow-ow-ow-ow That hurts" She totally forgot that there's the black haired girl (Alessa's split) however, she quickly remembered that there's a rival in front of her. She drew three of her throwing knife concealed within her leather pants, as she made a fighting stance she learned from TV. "Uhm... if you don't mind, I'll be taking that card now..." |

Tanya A strange feeling came over Tanya and she had the sudden urge to start signing. She opened her mouth and began to sing the lullaby her mom sang to her when she was little. Her voice was no different than it usually was but she noticed the card begin to float downward as if sleepy. When it was low enough to reach she jumped up and nabbed it. It was a golden card with designs etched into it, and it looked just like the cards her father used to play poker. "I got you!" She said triumphantly. She looked around and still saw nobody, and with that she began to turn around and return to her hotel room. It was late and she had a concert in time square the next evening. |

Pram [Central Park][Feb. 10th, 12:15 AM] Pram opens his eyes and realises he is now lying flat on the ground. Her murmured to himself while trying to get up. Pram looks around carefully and spotted a girl sitting on the bench where he was sleeping before. Pram: another protector?" The girl suddenly throws shining objects to the night sky. Pram's eyes follows the direction of the shining objects and spots those shining objects are tackling a card that floats in midair. below the card, stands a samurai-like man. The girl quickly run and catches the card away then she seems like talking to the samurai-like man. Pram: oh, now i get it. they must another protector. and the card is located in central park. now i get it. Curious about the two protector he just saw, Pram started to walk towards them. Pram: allies or foes?..... nah, i don't care. even if i lose this game, i lose nothing. He walks lightly towards the white haired girl(Nadia) and the samurai-like man (Fenris).  |
