The title of this beautiful song called Exalitus. It unites the legendary talents of Yoko Kanno and Origa once again since Inner Universe and Rise. Too bad its not the theme song of any anime, but that of a Lexus car commercial. Found the song for download in iTunes. Alan--yup a girl, and an extremely beautiful one at that---singing "Longing Future" (Natsukashii Mirai) and Sora no Uta. Not to mention "Xin Shan" for the ending theme of Red Cliff. Expecting the Japanese version of Xin Shan to be released soon with her next single. "Longing Future" is actually a song made up suddenly as a charity song to help gather funds for the survivors of the Sichuan Earthquake, which incidentally is Alan's home province. Listening to the various music of "Kirarin Revolution". Unlike other recent magic girl shows and their tunes, which seems to be oriented for otaku, Kirarin Revolution is truly oriented for 5 to 10 year old girls. And the tunes sound like it too. The key singer is Koharu Kusumi, which fits perfectly into anyone's image of a perfect teenage girl idol. I'm still trying to get the tune "o-hananapun, hananapun" out of my head. Got the music off from iTunes, the US side too, which strangely enough got like two or three Kirarin Revolution albums despite the show not being shown in the US yet. The tune sounds so cute it needs to come with a health warning label. |

I haven't downloaded anything new in a while (due to lack of HD space.) Buuut, I did hear Versailles Noble Album recently, plus Ayabie's newest-ish single. :3 Which didn't turn out so well btw. X3 |
