@mang: I like the sig expecially. There's something about it I just like. On the avy, did you use a clipping mask? Because the C and L on the avatar is a little illegible, either do to a transparency or a borderless clipping mask. But all together, great set! @everyone: so I'm guessing were not going to have a halloween contest?

[ Mangchu ] OMIG that looks totally awesome, I definitely love the siggy~ <3 The texture works out with the text. What font did you use? [ Haseo & Others ] Clipping Mask? I do not know how to use it nor even know where it is. Or what is a good use for it xDDDD Can someone explain to me? otherwise I can find an answer myself.   currently CLOSED. I'm going to hold Halloween event then... It was you Inx that said would help out? BTW Haloween is in november ne? I'm totally cool with it because it is in november neeeeeee? About clipping mask I don't think Magz used a clipping mask that is just a different type she used ... Now HOW I'm going to explain what it is... THAT is difficulty DD: ... hummmmmm I think you could say that you can use a image and cut it exactly where you want by doing clipping mask it gives nice textures, and mixed with nice splashes brushes you get a cool effect. I used it here:  all those splashes in the right side were made with clipping mask that is that P.S.: I loved the set Mangz It is veeery cute X3   |

@Dfly: LOL HALLOWEEN IS NEXT WEEK XD its at the end of october. lol And good summary of a clipping mask. you also forgot that a clipping mask can be used with font, be completely transparent and use the background as its texture/surface appearance. I'm not really even that sure how to do a clipping mask lol

for gimp it's really hard but I'll show you how to do it easily on Photoshop. 1: make a shape, brush, whatever. 2: Do another shape or add text. 3: press Ctrl + Alt + G to make a clipping mask. Therefore whatever's in said clipping layer can be moved around, etc.  |

Thanks for all the comments, guys! - Haseo - Thanks! Yeah... I didn't use a clipping mask. (not sure what that was until some of the other posters helped clear it up) xD - Inchu - Thanks so much XD I do love the textures as well... after a lot of fiddling with the brushes and blend modes I finally got the effect I wanted @_@ The font I used for "s a k a g a m i" was of course good old 'Century Gothic'. The font I used for "TOMOYO" is a brilliant font called 'BIRTH OF A HERO', which is available at dafont :o The 'BIRTH OF A HERO' font is really good for grunge images... it blends in nicely. :) - Naucchan - Glad to see you're using the set I made you! XD And lol... thanks for the instructions for the Clipping Mask. It sounded like a really awesome tool o.o Since I'm on a school computer I can't wait to get home and experiment with it! XD - DFly~senpai - OMGOMG I luuuuuuuuurve that signature D: I love that weird sort of... "disintegrating" on Alphonse :o I'm still trying to learn that, lol XD although, does it have something to do with the Smudge tool? o.o lol. Since I'm at school I can use small font again... XD It's weird but on my computer at home when I use the small font size (like I'm using now) it appears really really big on my computer DX   |

@Mang I love the set~ if you need a example of a sig that uses a clipping mask, I made one: @haseo so you do have Photoshop now or what? o.o; @Inxipoo As I explained earlier, it shouldn't be that hard on Photoshop. |

@inx after unzip just transfer the font file to your fonts folder in Control Panel. no need to transfer the readme blahblah. @kurea nice set there. just the colors of the avy bugs me. lol right...may i know where to get that hearts? i've been looking for that. @dfnee you should make a tut---/shot anyways, the grand slam event...i might join, only if my national exams are over >.<  |

@inx well, first download the fonts >copy it >go to control panel >fonts folder >paste it there >and presto, it will automatically be use in your photoshop, i hope i help you. ^^ |

@Kazuma: Could use some improvement, try looking up some tuts on youtube. that helped me with GIMP @Al: very nice, just what I would expect from you! With this post that makes 40 more posts(2 pages) until the new thread!
