I want to hear a short demo so then I know what people struggle on compared to what they excel on.
Since there's what, eight partcipants, we might do the song twice, as split them each evenly into two,
then spit half of the members into each, so four per piece.
Then after the lyrics are done, I gotta figure out how I'll lay out the lyrics and the two songs together.
So, Meep is in charge of the recording mixing, right?

For this type of song, you don't have to try to show off your lyrical ability, it's J-Pop.
Just be yourself, but try to go along with the beat, y'know?
The song is pretty simple to sing so it shouldn't be hard at all.

Later after we confirmed the # of singers, I'll get working on the lyrics and other crap, too.

So basically each singer will get a quarter of the song right? Either way, I know the lyrics are in safe hands~ hahah!

Yup! Meep will be incharge in the mixing. But I guess if there is a particular way you'll like it to be mixed, Da, you can let meep know~

Somehow... the few SHnY songs have been tough for me... other than the 2 she sang on stage I guess. Somehow using my "normal" voice will cause my voice to float over the BGM... sigh... well... unless Meep has a way of fixing it by the programs... if not I'll probably be using one of my falsetto (fake voice)~

Hahah~ "Other crap"!! hahah!!! XD

Here's a quick idea of what I'm thinking.
After I hear how people sing and with success with the splitting, it might go well.

The lyrics won't be split into parts where members will wait.
You'd mostly find it that members will have to pay attention the entire song or else miss their part.
Here's a basic idea of it (lyrics from Gendou.com):
This is just the first verse to use as an example.

"Nazonazo, mitaini, chikyuugiwo, tokiakashitara
Minnade doko, mademo ikerune"
~ "singer A"

"Wakuwaku, shitaito, negainagara, sugoshitetayo
Kanaete kureta nowa, darenano?
Jikanno hate made"
~ "singer B"

"Boon" ("singer B + C"), "waapu de, ruupu na, kono omoiwa
Nanimo, kamowo, makikonda, souzoude..."
"Asobou!" ("singer A or D")
~ "singer C"

"Aruhareta hinokoto, mahouijou noyukaiga
Kagirinaku, furisosogu, fukanou janaiwa"
~ "singer (A, B, C, or D)"

"Ashitamata autoki, warainagara hamingu
Ureshisawo, atsumeyou, kantan nandayo konnano"
~ "singer (A, B, C, or D)"

"Oikakete ne, tsukamaete mite"
~ "singer (A, B, C, or D) + singer (A, B, C, or D)"

Ookina yume, yume, sukideshou?
~ "singer (A, B, C, or D) + singer (A, B, C, or D)"

That's basically how it'll go. I'll straight it out later on, but it's pretty simple.
Now it's better if we have an even # of singers or else it'll be off balance.

Once after we get all the info and stuff I need, I'll be able to split them then.

I am off of my vacation now, but I still don't feel like working so I guess I am still on it. :p

@William: I am kinda confused too. lol

well Adeline, we are recruiting people (or rather, waiting for volunteers) to sing our club theme song, Hare Hare Yukai (version not confirm). Would you like to join us?

Ah~ DA... so basically everyone sings a paragraph (instead of a sentense) so is easier to catch on right~ Then at certain parts, there will be duets~

Thanks GMeis. Well, to put (embed) a song here, you can either go create yourself a soundclick or imeem account (these are the only ones I know have embedding functions). If not, you can also go create a putfile account to put your songs there (but they don't allow embedding) though personally I don't like the plain looking putfile.com.

@DA: As long as I am not the only one that feels confused I am content. lol

If Adel sings that would make 9 people right?
YAY for more people!!! XD

@Engel: So soundclick or imeem. O.O Thanks!!
OK then be ready for earbleeding pleasure soon!!! lol XP

Oh, so Meep will be the one in charge of mixing!

Hmm..It'll be better if the numbers of participant is even?
So if I join, how many people would be participating?
(Is Adeline going to join as well? Then there would be ten people right?)

Gmeis: Hahaha, don't worry too much about it!
Err..I forgot what I was supposed to say next!
*still confused*

*washes ears to listen to GMeis's recording*

Hee... So William~ Will you be joining us? I'm not sure if it'll be better if there are even or odd number of singers, but the more the merrier!

What do you mean by your voice to float over the BGM? O_O *starts flipping book for some remedy*
I'll post up my demo prolly on Monday.
I kinda like DA's idea though XD;; *gets shot*

@Engel - The demo sounds genki, even though you said it lack emotions XD;;

Meep! Don't worry... you are not deaf. I guess is me being overly picky again. Sigh... that's one of my bad habits since young. I can never be happy with the work I've done (cause I always feel that it could have ben done better?)
Hmm... about the floating part... Is like how your vocals doesn't seem to be part of the song... but rather it sound like you are singing "above" it. Is hard for me to explain in words... if you want a sample I can make you one. >_<

Hee~ Thanks Z~ I don't mind you listening to it over and over again... but just make sure, it don't cause you to become tone deaf or anything worst by listening to it too much! >_<

@Engel: I think I did the same thing you did.
I recorded like the first minute and half of Hare Hare Yukai.
I think I stunk it though.
English songs are easier for me. XD
Hare Hare Yukai is not for me. lol
I was very nervous!!!

GMeis Hare Hare 1 song.wav -

My voice is pretty low so it was so hard. T_T
I sounded pretty emotionless, I think.

O.O any bleeding ears? XP

*listens to GMeis's singing*
No Bleeding Ears!!!

The opening was slightly emotionless and you sounded unclear of the lyrics (thus lack of practise, like moi~)
You got better when you were getting to the chorus parts... I guess you got yourself more comfortable then. There was more emotion, timing was better and you sounded like you enjoyed yourself (which is the most important).
Though your voice is low (normal for a guy), you did well! At least your voice didn't float over the song like my real voice did~ T.T

Now I really feel like getting you to join the karaoke club GMeis~~~

EDIT::
Oh! Also, I noticed that you recorded in .wav. Try and make your recordings into .mp3 files, they are smaller in size... you'll need to download a program call LAME to that.

Trust me, in the end everything will work out.
If everyone agrees with this idea, without being confused,
in which that I can explain to you, then we should use the original theme's beat.

It's not using "paragraphs" as Engel has stated, it's just splitting the lyrics up upon the singers.
It'll kinda be like groups to sing each verse and their corresponding chorus.
Now I gotta decide how to lay it out once all the members have joined.
I can't modify it until I know how many people are gonna sing.

Like I said before it might be better if a even # of singers join in,
but then again I can work with an odd # of singers, no worries.
I'll try out a few things so I'll see what I can do.

Every singer would mostly have the same amount of lyrics they'd be responsible for,
but you mostly have to pay attention for your part or else you'll mess up the song.
Since there's around ten singers almost, the song might run through two verses if not maybe three.
I'm thinking three at this point, cause I can split each verse into three parts for three singers.
3 x 3 = 9, so that'll work out fine. If there's ten or more, I can adjust, but ten would be, like, the best # if not nine since we have nine now.

For now, you guys don't need to worry about it.
Since I guess I'm in charge of the lyrics, in the end when it's time for recording, it'll make more sense later on.
Just picture it as me assigning out your part to a play or something,
and when your part comes up, you read it. Simple as that concept, no? :P

Now since we might be using the original theme, we should use the original lyrics of Hirano Aya, Chihara Minori, and Goto Yuko,
since the original anime version has the duet by them, so if we're using full fledged lyrics, it should be there's.
There's other lyrics as well, but we can choose those out later, so no worries.
Another example is what I just said about, the anime verse with all three of 'em.
It's kinda like that, but since there's more people,
obviously the song is longer and there's going to be more people singing more different parts, so yes.

I want the demos somewhere cause having each PM as a demo would be weird.
It'd be nice if you guys could make a playlist on IMEEM or something, haha.
Or just somehow edit the first page so the demos are included.
You can get their embed codes, so that shouldn't be a complicated matter.
