"dad, I failed in the exams" is the one of the most difficult thing to say. my parents are strict when it comes to school. i need to keep my grades up but luckily, they only check my report card. ^^ the most difficult thing to say is opening a topic on s*x.... ^^. i wouldn't dare. When there's this love making scene in a movie, i automatically change the channel. what more if i'll engage them in this kind of subject? No way!!! |

Sex is a nice topic to open up whe our parents are around. Why? Because you can see their faces blushing! No, just joking. When you open up this topic to your parents, the answer will depend on the culture they grew up with. If sex is taboo in their culture, normally they would be shy and scold you if you ask them. Bottomline: Sex is a topic that must not be shooed out. This is reality, without it, you will not be here. When parents talk about sex with their children, chances are the kids will grow up responsible and will not use sex as mere pleasures in life. |

asking my mom for help.....shudder.... also: these have not happened....yet "Hey mom, guess what.....Im a dad!!! Why are you looking at me like that?" "I know I just moved out of the house, but you think I could stay another couple years or so?" I got nothin to say for a dad cause I didnt grow up with one.

seriously! the most important thing is just as »»Ran has said...a topic on sex...either one, they think that you are maturing and that you have fallenin in love and blah blah blah but at the same time they would think that something mighta happen to you so then they would get worri n then ask you quetions that goes realli realli peresonal and then you will...i am for 100% sure that people will go uncomfortable...that's exactly wut had happen to me when i brought up this subject ^_^'

Here's some I've used before that I found hard to tell them: "I failed/ I'm failing..." B/c event though I'm not getting the best grades my parents are still strickt on grades. They really try to push me to hard sometimes. "Awww, baby's are so cute I want one!" I think my mom just about flipped when I said this, at the time I hadn't been talking about anytime in the near future... sigh, she thought I meant I was gonna go out and get pregnant the next day or something. Here's a few I haven't had to use yet: "I'm pregnant!" "My boyfriend and I are running off to Mexico together!" "I'm gay/lesbian..." For some people that could be hardest thing in the world. But I can't say cause I wouldn't know. "Mom dad I'm in love with my cousin!" That's a toughy too... "Mom, dad, I'm completely wasted and I just trashed my car could you come pick me up?" "Daddy can you come bail me out of prison? I love you by the way!" "Mom, dad, I just killed someone..." "Mom, dad, I've just been diagnosed with CRABS! It itches like hell!" "I've got (serious disease name here)(ex: cancer) and I've only got a month to live..." That's heart renching! Couldn't think of anymore but those would be some pretty tough things to tell your parents.
