@Haxor: haha thanks, I know they were one of the first units, but what did the GM stand for? I am guessin it stands for the first and last letter in GundaM. But i guess your right maybe my name should be shortened to Gee Em instead. lol I think I should start thinking about a qoute for myself in this club....   |

this club is pretty active ^_^ so we have a giant Zeta gundam (one of the reason i want to go to JAPAN!) h4xor cosplaying at heavy arms (that was you! Awesome!) a gundam turning into a GM dancho who wants to meet up,get drunk and sing karaoke...with TEAM SOD! (oh the horror!hahaha) some ouran cosplay talk..and talk about our countries (syrel and I are from the Philippines!hahaha) questions regarding SOD (DN and engel pretty much took care of that one..but basically its a group of three awesome singers!^_~ though their king is to have been said as the worst singer in gendou and he's proud of it!hahaha) yeah..it would be VERY COOL to meey you guys in person, get drunk and sing my rendition of pegasus fantasy for your ear bleeding pleasure! (heck we can sing kumikyoku or ryuuseigun with everyone just for the lolz!hahaha) |

Wow! This club grows by 1 page everyday/every 2 days... hope this growth will be sustainable! Hee... no prob DN. Take your time to come up with the quote! GM also means General Manager! Thus, you've upgrade, not the other way =Þ Well, is always good to know more about the world.... which is one thing Internet has accomplished Hahahah!!! h4xor will be the one to make the gundam while GM turns into its canon and the 2 will come as one (cause they have fuse?) It'll be fun if we really get to meet up real life but thats so difficult cause we are all located in different parts of the world. Hmm... this maybe slightly out of topic... anyone plays "Lively" by Google? if we use that, we'll get to "meet" online (yes... sadly is still online). But even with that, timing might be an issue. Using progs like scype, we can take turns to sing Karaoke together! And lets have the King of SOD to give us a opening Sentai song (his fav~~~) Then we can even try out Nico Nico songs.... such a cool idea but... seems to be hard to realise...  |

@Syrel: I like a ton of other animes, but gundam was the only thing I could think of at the moment for the nickname. :P @Engel: I think maybe GM might be too drastic of a shorting, being it the cannon fodder or the general manager, i think GMeis will do just fine for the time being then. :) Oh and another question what are Nico Nico songs? |

GMeis it'll be then! Hmm... Nico Nico songs like Nico Nico like Nico Nico Douga and Nico Nico Douga Kumikyoku are 2 songs that link many of the anime songs into one long long song (10min & 20min respectively). There are a few other Nico Nico Songs around which I'm not sure if they are "original". Lemme intro you.... *drums roll* NICO NICO DOUGA! These songs are fun to sing... and supposely be as easy to sing as church songs/Kids songs... but... personally, other than the anime that I've known previously, I only managed to do the Pitten song to perfection. I went to hang out with friends, and we went to my one friend's gf's house, and we played this game called like "Singing Pop" or something. It's some karaoke game, but like I knew none of the songs, I was nervous since I'm used to singing at home in my room by myself mostly, so I failed miserably, hahaaa. So if we ever do meet up to sing karaoke, bring Laruku/Japanese songs! Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ

I do believe more knowledge is a good thing sometimes, I think (hesitant). :) I have tried the mic on Rockband before and didn't do too bad, but I had the same problem, I didn't know any of the songs. For some odd reason now I am fairly good at it now though, but my eyes hurt after a certain while. Too much screen movement!!! |

hahaha!!! Laraku songs is great... though I won't be able to sing those. Ever tried Blurry Eyes and it came out horrible... I need to change the song's pitch high enough to suit a girl! Suddenly I remember something... Gendou mentioned that he was gonna make a karaoke program that allow us to sing in Gendou but... no news so far... If his big plans work out... we can all sing!!!!! Indeed sometimes ignorance is bliss but that's only "sometimes". Most of the time, having knowledge is having power! (feels like a line off some anime/cartoon... knowledge is power!) |

Blurry Eyes is not that hard to sing, haha. If you want to sing one of HYDE's lower vocal songs, try all the songs they did for Hagane no Renkinjutsushi basically: Link, Lost Heaven, Ready, Steady Go. Yeah, I heard that a while ago, though I guess it's still in pending mode right now.

Hahaha... Is not hard to sing but because the pitch is way too low for me, I end up sounding like a emotionless guy (as in male). So end up, I destroyed the song... Especially when I din know how to change a song's pitch back then... I tried singing Ready Steady Go too.... now I wonder which I did worst...OK... I know... both are equally bad! WARNING!! SOD quality songs ahead... Blurry Eyes Ready Steady Go! Really hope that project will come through then we'll all get to sing online! Maybe I should go redo the 2 songs after a change of pitch! |

The Blurry Eyes one was not that bad, pretty good to be honest with you. I get what you mean about the higher pitch thing. So, you can't sing HYDE's lower pitched songs, but instead his higher ones? And the Ready, Steady Go!! one wasn't bad as well. A bit blurry with the lyrics though, but not bad. I think when anyone records a song to match up with a karaoke song, you have to like adjust the volume on your voice so it blends in better. I want to try to record sometime so I can see for myself how to do this. I might be the worst singer ever, but I want to sing Laruku songs so badly.

Hey Miko!! welcome! Come join us the Single (and maybe some not so single) people for a chat! OMG!! DA!! You really think so? You really think I did "good"? I can't imgine it! hahah! Yup! I can't sing low pitch songs (be it Laraku or whoever's) cause it'll just sound strange. I'll go re-do RSG or Blurry eyes (probably the latter) in higher pitch... one that I can sing without mush straining of voice for DA to do a comparison (Yes... DA... Just for you! :p) But you'll have to wait a bit cause I'll need to practise! Volume is one thing but there are times when no matter how you adjustthe volume, your vocals just seem to "float" above the music. That is one issue I haven't been able to solve. DA. You really should record something to put it in The karaoke thread or in this thread (if u want less people to hear) so that other Gendourians can comment and help you improve. It works! |

Yeah, a lot of members have told me the same thing as well, with the volume I mean. Though, I know a few people I met online that have done it, though most of them were girls who sung "softly". I sing a lot of songs, all the time. Once I hit some note that I can't sing "normally", like just by the rythem of the song itself, I know that I'm not meant to sing the song cause my voice is not right for it. I hate how my voice sounds. If only people can hear how I hear my voice, y'know? Try other songs from them. One of their hardest songs to sing, in my opinion have always been "New World". The chorus is really strong, and if you want a high note, try it, though it needs to be strong or your voice will crack a bit. Can you practice "MY HEART DRAWS A DREAM" cause that's my favorite song, and if I ever get a chance to record, I will sing that song first if I can. I sing it all the time, mostly everyday, haha, of course it's my favorite. Though, it has a mix of high and low, so be careful. If you want other songs to try out, just let me know, haha.
