Thank you everyone~~~ I sure hope the club will be still as lively even when I won't be posting that much in the next week~ As for voice range, it is something that you can practise to improve it. You can do so but trying to stretch your Do Re Me Fa So La Ti Do and continue doing a 2nd set of higher notes after the last Do... The tip of this is to start as low a Do as possible but make sure it is not too low till they don't sound like notes anymore~ Those who have piano/keyboard/musical instruments can used that to assist the practise too!  |

@ate gij (ate,wag mo naman ikompera si mahal kay aya hirano(siya yung kumanta nung hare hare yukai)...magagalit ako!^_^VHahaha) cool! at least you can now play right? i'm still having a hard time holding chords!hahaha and my strumming pretty much sucks!hahaha good luck with the bass playing!hahaha to each his own i guess...maybe its the beat? you remind me of one of my sisters who saw me listening,humming and dancing(oh the horror) to hare hare yukai..she was like "anong nangyayari sa kuya ko!" hahaha so you have not checked out kyon's version... you can check it out here kyon's version dont worry that's not as big as a video and its about half the size of the mp3...plus you can DL it there too... @engel this the club will always be lively!hahaha but it's livelier if your here so even if your busy with work..dont forget to drop by ^_^V |

It'll be kind of easy really, well at least I think so, though easier said than done maybe. We'll have members do a demo, but they'll also comment about what they want to do. It depends on a lot of unknown information right now, so I can't really say anything else. A verse like the one above would be easier, who knows. There's also making it more creative like mixing parts with each other so there's all sorts of timing, etc. Then there's this idea, plus the videos idea of having everyone singing the final verse, together. There's all sorts of different lyrics, so we're good on lyrics there. I think idea of changing the songs original lyrics would kind of mess up the originality of the great song. We'll try stuff later on once we get there, but that Hare Hare Yukai medley is an AWESOME idea, at least in my opinion. Maybe I should get a mic and make some surprise appearance, eh? XD But for real though, I really do wish I had a mic. It's kind of fun to sing, if I'm by myself. ^_~`

ehehe.. :) can i share my experience in singing?? >_< i ever sing a choir competition for a club.. >__<; and the teacher asked all of the club members to go audition and I don't know why the teacher suddenly gave me the lyric sheet and put down my name >___<'' and lols i was practicing together with the other singers only twice. and the day where the competition was held, >_< i am so nervous i almost lost my pitch. :P but.. we still won the competition because we remember all of the lyrics.. >____< rofl. thank goodness. >_< i just hope i wo0nt be like that while singing the theme song.. *hides somewhere* well DA, i dreamed about that last night. ._.; and cool idea. :3 i hope it goes well~!   |

Erm... Is there gonna be an audition?? The Hare Hare Yukai Medley is a good idea but if is exactly like the vid above, I wonder if the listeners will listen till the end of it all.. cause is basically the same song (with different lyrics) over and over again. Wah... but by listening to this... I can hear all the difference in lyrics and singing styles~ The reason I recommanded Haruhi ver followed by Kyon ver is cause he's like responding to her... which is kinda cute (in my opinion >_<). And if we sing the final verse together, will it be the saem lyrics or will it be the "character" we'll be following? Cause the end of that video sounded "messy" when everyone was singing their own stuff~ |

harehare medley! great! DA, you should buy a mic and come sing with us ^^ ahh singing experience... everytime I go to the karaoke, my friends beg me not to sing ^^;; and I don't think there'll be any auditions vie, we're singing for fun aren't we? ^^ as for voice range, the problem is everytime I try to reach something high, the voice came not from my stomach or lungs, it came from the neck and it sounds really distorted... so yeah my vocal cord is pretty broken ^^;; anybody know how to cure this? -edit- whoa, engel appeared above meh ^^;;

@Engel: Congrats on the new job!!! ^^ @Z: Thanks for dropping the song off here. :) lol. Anyone want to drop the lyrics for it here. Or did someone do that and I missed it? O.o Yeah, we have 8 singers now!!! It looks likes H is ready or kinda. XD The song is 4:48 long? *just now looked* Are we splitting the song with the guys doing the Kyon version and the girls doing the Haruhi version and then mixing them together now? *kinda lost now* lol *butterflies in stomach now due to all the talk about singing* -_-'   |

Thanks ppls~~~ Hmm... for H's case, I think you'll need to sing to the notes from a piano or other musical instrument. That usually helps u to pace out ur notes without going too high or low on each of them. I'm not every incline with technical terms so is pretty hard for me to explain like that... hope you get my meaning though :S Hmm... GMeis, if you'll like to practise, Kyon's lyrics are here... you might wanna ask the BGM from DA... unless you are ok with singing to the faster beat of the original ver... which karaoke ver is avail in Gendou~ It is not confirm as to how the lyrics will be spilt as yet. We might be doing a medley something like DA's posted vid in the few posts as above... there may be other possible ways too. You backed from vacation, GMeis? And welcome Adeline!! [@Zpart] Maybe, though I might've said this back then, you might only hear Laruku songs from me, haha. ^-^" [@Engel] Well depending on how we'll do the splitting, the song might be two regular songs together entirely, maybe. I haven't done it yet, so there's no rough draft of it so I wouldn't know how it'll turn out thus far. The video there was fan made, it was only used as a very good reference to what I want to do. I think it's a good idea, and I think it'll work out. The lyrics, as I said before will be diverse, so everyone won't be "waiting their turn". You'll have different people come in here and then other people come in later or so. I said the song, after the splitting might take about two of the regular songs, so entirely it might be around 6-7 minutes long or so, who knows. We don't even know how we're going to record this and "paste" it together yet. The lyrics aren't important until we know who'll sing them anyways. Before recording and hearing their demos, and yes I'd like to hear a demo first, I'd like to know what parts they want to do as to compared to what I think and whatnot, etc. If it doesn't work out, then I'll just let someone else do it. As I said, I'll be pretty picky so yeah...

I think a long song is ok... as long as it is not boring... We can even do some voice acting.... hmm... maybe just that alone we can get every member/non official member to join in... just to say "Hi!" OK... this is not a demo (unless DA thinks is good enuf... though I don't...) I did this on a wimp~ hahaha!! enjoy the cutsy & outta pitch at times voice (it seems that my original voice is not suitable for this song... only found that out after recording it 10 times or so...) And please pardon any mistakes... I'm still not used to singing this song so emotions, lyrics, timing, etc are... well... not very well done >_< BEWARE!! |

So DA will be in charge of the lyrics? Err..what do you mean by "demo"? (Participants will send the recordings to you first, then to Engel? Then..Engel will be in charge of mixing them together?) Hmm...I'm confused!! Edit: (Engel!! How do you keep doing that?!) Okay, but I should warn you that I only know Shiraishi's version of Hare Hare Yukai! Hahaha! >_< |
