@twin i see XD @mei lol me, minus the sleep part...lol i can only sleep if i actually took my meds before/during the ride...XD pokemon store...sounds like there's a store for only pokemon stuffs lol @dangel lol not really that recently but yeah...the lost teeth was err what do people call those young teeth (supposedly there will be another teeth grow after that lost) but the new teeth won't grow out (sprouted?), got stuck like...in the gums? lol...i can feel the hardness of the teeth in my gum XD lol i'm bad at explaining stuffs which i can't really translate to english properly...XD your wisdoms never sprouted...why did they had to be removed? o.o  |

[@Ki-run] Those smaller teeth are called your baby teeth, yes. I know exactly what you're talking about cause I have a similar case as well. I have two baby teeth that never popped out, and when the whole wisdoms topic was discussed I found out why. There's the two teeth that were supposed to come out and grow where the two baby teeth would grow, but never was the case. My "canines", is what my dentist called it, grew and went upside down (which he said was really rare). Now he gave me a bunch of options and I don't necessarily have to take them out right way cause nothing's bad has happened. I can't "feel" them cause they're really up there in the gums so yeah it's impossible to see where they are anyways. I'll come back next summer and have them checked out and see what happens. He said if I don't take them out, I'd have to come back every two-three years to see updates if there's anything bad. But yeah, I thought about taking them out next summer, but I have to see if my parents insurance or whatever covers it, cause my dad's workplace closed down and he's currently laid off after recovering from being "ill", so anything financial related and money involved is tight, but for now I don't have to worry about 'em, I just know I have my baby teeth from when I was chibi. >XD Oh, and the question about the wisdoms, they had to be taken out cause they weren't growing straight up. I even saw the x-rays myself, and they were growing at a 45°, but I got them out, pretty much recovered since then, I'm happy. The only thing left is having the gums over the wisdoms healing cause they're like "flabs" of gum. Remember the dentist told me to rinse with salt water (which I haven't been doing, lol) so they'll shrink. I gotta see him early morning Thursday, but I promise tomorrow I'll rinse with salt water. I gotta see how many times I gotta do it a day, but yeah it's gross, I mean it's salt water anyways. XD [@kiralight] Pff, I've been categorized as a girl ever since I first signed onto this forum! Though I've gotten used to it, honestly though it never bothers me anyways, so whatever. I'm a HOT GIRL!! Haha, oh nice what are you starting up college or high school? Tomorrow's the first day for my sister and it's her first day of high school. All my friend who graduated with me in my class made like "haha, high school tomorrow, oh wait, nevermind" comments on facebook, rofl.

@DA~ Hmm... yeah compared to High schools time, 4 hours doesn't seem bad at all. I had a friend who set his classes up to where he only had them 3 days a week. Not sure how is classes are now, or if he graduated already. I fell out of contact with him. :\ lol There's no worry about how the classes are gonna be, but more worry over cool roomies. xDD Hmmm.. I'm not fully sure how much I want to spend. But yeah, buy one in the near future. Once a new job settles in. Errrk.. $300?? I think my sister's only costed like $150. It was bought at Wal-Mart though. @Naru~ lol I know. I mainly want a good cheap one. @Onii-chan~ Another way, is if the trip is really early in the morning. I pop on my headphones and then just zone out. Waking up in a hour though. xD I thought I saw pictures of some store like that online. But that was like 3-5 years ago. I don't recall what the store looks like now from those pics. Feels like ages since I saw pics of the store. :x @Kira~ lol Well you wander around. I'm not really worried, I mean my friends tell me it's awesome and relaxing, sometimes boring, but that's fine. Plus you can just doodle around in your computer or whatever anyways, lol. I know some that have that, too, and they only go to school for like two or three hours, which is pretty interesting. It'll probably be longer the next quarter or something, most likely this... I don't care about my classes right now, but I'll be living with the same three people for three to four years. Classes change, but you can request to move out, too, so we'll see how it goes. I'm just hoping for the best, but I'm just hoping for either really open minded-funny people or people with similar interests as me. Fashion, style, music, food, ethnicity is one huge one I'm aiming for, but less likely though. :( And yeah, my 300$ one is nice, but it kind of sucks. Digital cameras suck overall though. Takes like three seconds to take a friggin' picture, no stop action which I hate though it's obvious why it's not provided. Ugh, if only there's some cameras more like SLR cameras, but that'd be pretty impossible, too. There is actually a small one, but it's three times as large as you average digital camera. That's why out of the brands, Nikon or Canon are popular cause their SLRs are used throughout the world, most notable with sports.

Hey, DA, I have a question for you since you've been around Gendou for so long. lol, I know it's kind of a weird question but you're the only person who I think can answer it properly since you've been around Gendou for such a long time while still being active. So basically, I wanted to ask you if you think the Gendou community has become well...lazy in the last couple years or so. Cause like, from my perspective, it seems like people are predominantly posting in the Waste of Time section and their own clubs. It's like people never make threads anymore because they're either too scared or something of being inventive, but I don't know. It's just been a really long time since inventive threads where real discussions were had existed. I don't know, maybe the demographic changed. The people from 3 years back or so really were older it seemed, around 17-20 but now I think most of the users are now around 15? Oh yeah, and Gendou City totally died after Kay left for awhile. And then when people do post, the posts seem really lazy too. People seem to be posting really lazily because they never capitalize. Plus there are lazy posts that just affirm the opening of a new club or version. By the way, I'm going to be pushing the line here, but does it seems like people never talk about people once they've been banned because they're scared of being banned themnselves? (Maybe we'll test the theory now and see if I get banned after posting this but personally I wouldn't be missing much.) Anyway, do you think that's true? Because there are several specific points I'd love to bring up here from way back but whatever. I'm really impressed that you've stuck around for so long plus you post so frequently, you have so many posts and they're usually really long. So yeah, that's it basically. I hope it wasn't too confusing. |

@DA~ I have a friend who told me that he got an apartment near his school. Been told that during his free time there, he's actually just playing games the whole time. I assume hes had his classes arranged rather nicely to just do that. Only thing really to worry about are those exams and finals and such. Well, living with new people is a good experience. Amazingly enough, they might have the same interest as you do. Or that you find a new interest yourself. lol If you are lucky, maybe you will get one who is the same ethnicity as you. xD My sisters camera takes the picture rather quickly. I guess I never really payed attention to see a delay time for click and the actual taking of the photo. lol Whenever I take a photo with her camera, I ask her to send it to right away each time. She gets so annoyed at me, and complains, but when I last saw her send the pic to her laptop and to a pen drive. It took her less than 30 sec. so I have no idea what she complained about. Give or take a few years, they will probably get the SLR camera down to the digital camera size. Everything is trying to go so compact these days. Just gotta wait for it. I sometimes wonder if they will try to compact the balls they use in sports. xDD @Kira~ You come around from time to time. But after you come around, you tend disappear for another month or so. >,< @Jow~ I also do think that some are getting lazy lately. I see some posts that just look so short, I don't even know what to say about it. And some don't bother with capitalization or punctuality, but... thats usually how online is sometimes. :c |

Saw this status on facebook today, "school sucks without our seniors", and I kind of smiled. Cause the best classes (graduation classes) were '07, '08, and '09 for us, especially '08 and '09. Now, and every senior (that recently graduated) will tell you this, but our high school sucks now. I'm just wishing for the best for my little sister cause she's a new kid, but she seems fine already. Plus if they know who her brother is [me], they won't dare be rude around her or talk any smack... >:D Junior year is rough, personally for me it was the roughest. I think it's the most hardest, but that depends on your state I guess because of the school system(s). [@Jow] Wooooo~~ Jow's here. ;P lol, that's a pretty fun question to ask someone, especially someone like me. Good to know I'm acknowledged as being somewhat of a "forum oldie", even though I'm young still, I'd say at least. ^_~` But good question indeed... Do I think the forum has become somewhat lazy of the years? Sure, to some degree, but not the main reason. The main reason from my perspective is what you stated, the demographic has changed, drastically. People are simply getting older, simply moving onward with school and eventually college, or something else. Then there's others who just had other personal matters they wanted to fulfill, and went on to try to. What sucks now is that new people that I love eventually leave right away, too. :/ I'd say the average # of new users today are around that age, definitely. I can tell cause of the way they post, then again I could be wrong (somewhat wrong...). Gendou City was THE 5H17 back then, even when I was in it, too, it was so fun. I'll bring this up again later in my post. About the posts seeming lazy, this is somewhat true as well. I mean new threads are being made which are mostly repeat threads. I exclude stuff like the "help" or "philosophy" sections though. There's not even enough anime threads being made for new anime or posts to keep existing anime threads alive. To be 100% honest with you, one main reason is because I don't create a thread for every anime I watch/check out. I would make a thread here and there, but I dropped out in creating every thread for every anime I check out, plus I watch a ton of titles every season, but they eventually only come down to like a few people. To some degree it'll only be me and one other person (e.g. the main Bleach thread). I've been the only constant member posting in that thread for months, and if you scroll back pages and pages, you'll see me and one other member (sometimes more) posting there. I'm lazy sometimes and type lower case, but I keep it regular the vast majority of the time as you can see. The most annoying thing is when new users totally mess this system up. I honestly don't mind lower case style, but I hate when people can't even use basic sentence structue. I hate when people don't even use real vocab like they'll use letters in numbers or something, y'know? Not only that, I hate when people type like one huge paragraph without any spaces or even separating sentences into paragraphs. I'm not going to say I invented my style of posting, but it wasn't common back when I eventually started doing it. You can look at my earlier posts, I eventually learned the style of posting correctly over the earlier months. You can even somewhat tell how I matured, too, cause I use to type with emotes a lot and act like a little kid, lol. Talking about people being banned? That's a possible case, but I wouldn't recommend bring up anyone who was banned. I most likely know some names you'd bring up, and to be honest, don't, not here. They were banned for obvious reasons, and some names you might bring up, our friendships had ended since. Not everyone would know since it was mostly within Gendou City (forum wise anyways). Bringing up Gendou City again, it's totally died. Kay didn't fully leave it, I see him still posting in threads from time and time again, but it's definitely pretty much dead. Anyone can agree, who the heck would disobey? The threads, which are constantly being made in there, die within its first week, sometimes DAYS! I'm sure everyone for the most part, knows Critic's Bar, which is Gendou.com's #1 Gendou City thread all-time. When I came back from my hiatus, it was totally destroyed with n00bs and the regulars from before I left were all gone. This was when I came back and found out about the newly added Chat Room and just everything was different. Like it's easy to bring up the "Golden Age Era", and compare it to, umm, current/modern Gendou.com? I'm not sure what you'd called Gendou.com now, like, comparing it to the Golden Age Era in that sense. Impressed of me being around since then? Why so? How so? Yeah, I have a lot of posts, but I miss a lot of people I used to rabble on with back in the day. It was easy to find me back in the day really, I'd literally be posting everywhere. I loved a lot of people back in the day that are pretty much all gone. I can't think of a single person right now, that was somewhat involved in the Golden Age Era (heavily). The only people from back then I can say have stuck around with me are Izumo, Jon, and Kay. Three good friends, and they've also been around that long as well, Jon and Kay more notable because of the post count. There's probably others I'm missing, so sorry if I forgot the mention. So do I think Gendou.com forums have become somewhat lazy? One reason, yeah, but the main reason is because of the demographic or whatever. The users now aren't at all the same as Gendou.com users from back then. There's a total difference in pretty much everything, it's kind of saddening. It's kind of hard for me, too, since I love posting in the forums (obviously), but when threads don't get bumped or if I remain the last person to post and have to edit my posts, it sucks. I sometimes even have to edit my posts, copy and delete the post, and re-new/post it. :/ Wasn't confusing at all, in fact I felt that someone would ask me this sooner or later. About clubs, I'd exclude it to some degree (like some clubs die quickly, some don't [e.g. like that Haruhiism Club? ^_~`]). Anime is still the #1 most popular thread, post wise, I think, but it's lost life in the past two years or so. The WOT thread is a whatever to me, but I hate when someone uses their only ten posts (per day) and it's like, "I'm done". So yeah as someone who's been consistently active in the forums for a short while, I can say from first hand, it's changed. A lot. [@GM] Yeah, though pretty cool living on your own right before college starts. I refuse to live by myself, but who knows I eventually might have to in college. Dorms are expensive every quarter, in fact they just got raised. :/ I'm just hoping for the best man, whatever I get, I'm sure they'd be nice dudes. Everyone here is somewhat of an artist, either by hand or digitally, so that's one thing in common at least, right? During college, I'll probably get my own SLR. Ever go on Flickr? Great site. I think there's possibly some digital cameras, that take AWESOME quality photos. Balls in sports? Nahhhhhh, lol. Kind of random right there.

So... something weird just happened to me. I was just staying online, I left my laptop on like all day. I get some random, YOU HAVE VIRUSES, YOU NEED TO SYSTEM SCAN. And it gives me a download of a anti-virus to download, so I do it. Scan says I have like 20 virus/trojans/problems. Next thing I know, I can't remove the anti-virus. So, I reset my laptop and use my own scanner, and I get no problems what-so-ever. @__@ Right now I don't know if I fully removed the random anti-virus. I hope I won't have to do a system restart. Half my life is already on this laptop. <,> @DA~ I sometimes wondered what it would've been like if I got an apartment with one of my high school friends. After seeing their current living style, I am so glad I didn't do it. I am not sure if I heard right, but it's the dorms that actually cost more than just getting an apartment. Almost like that for any college, I believe. The raises have got to be taking a toll on the financial aid. :\ lol In belief, everyone has an artistic side, regardless if they show it or not. Hopefully, they will show the same interest in the same art as you. Maybe even trade secrets or tips? ^-^ Flickr... I have heard of it, I don't know what it is though. I know when I do image searches that sometimes the image belongs to some Flickr thing or user. Rather not touch things that I have no idea what it does sometimes. lol Well... it's just a random thought. Since, these days everything is getting compacted. Like slim versions of handheld systems or game systems, laptops getting thinner. Funny one is food at restaurants/fast food are getting smaller as well. xD But with things getting smaller, they for some reason are starting to cost more. I guess this just might my mind thinking,"I have no money, everything cost too much." xDD |

[@Naru] Heh, not something new from me anyways.... XD [@GM] I get that, every so now and forever later or so, rare anyways. Don't be fooled by those fake pop ups and whatnot, telling you to dL some anti-virus software or do a scan. Usually if that happens, it does mean you've been attacked by something, but with a good anti-virus software, a full computer sweep ought to remove everything for sure. If your program tells you to, restart your computer just to "clean" everything else (gives your computer a new breath, so-to-speak). Dorms can be more expensive, in this case for me they are right now. 2700$ a quarter is not an easy rent for three months or so. It depends really on an apartment we get. To move out though into an apartment, I have to dorm for a year until my contract allows me to move out. The financial aid is definitely having a rough time, and with my dad basically retiring cause he can't physically work anymore, it's going to be rough. I'm going to work partially over my course in college, and help pay it off, as well as pay my parents back for "lending" me money for my Macbook. I hate when I use their credit cards now. Everyone at this school will either love or hate each other, I guess? There's four different "branches" to my school so I hope I get the cool people. My friend came to visit from another school (same school, different location) and he told me about the ratio of girls and boys in class. Glad my major is second in girl population, according to his words, but my school's entirely different (and larger). I'm just hoping to meet everyone and be friends with everyone, but let's not forget about our roomies. I might even be moving into a dorm that already has three people settled in, wow that's going to be some pressure. :O Flickr is a website that's like a gallery where users uL photos they took or modified or just plain uLed. It's mainly for real photographers though, so the vast majority of the pictures are going to be composition. Everything is getting smaller. There's the new iPod Micro or whatever, eh? (as I type this, I get a pop-up to scan my computer, lol, how ironic!?!?)

@DA~ I see, well it happened at like 3AM. I was already tired, so it was like hitting a wall and spamming a panic button. I ran about 4-5 scans already for it. For some reason that anti-virus that I accidentally downloaded couldn't be located under the programs for removal. Ack... $2700?? I believe this is the first time, I hear the price. After the the contract's binding is over with, definitely move out. Apartment is definitely cheaper, especially with a roommate. More than likely cost a tad more than half the $2700. Ahhh, not good about your dad having to retire already, but yeah, a job during college should help. Did you ever get checking account settled in? It takes like a few weeks for them to send you the checking card as I remember. lol Hated or loved, eh? Since your major is second in girl's population, you could be loved by girls, and hated by guys, or envied by guys. Ehh... well, it's early morning for me right, I might not be thinking straight. But, it is best not to think about too much how others might think of you. Just be your charming self, right? ^o^ You know.... I thought you were only getting one roomie? And now maybe 3? lol Your room might be the party room!! W000T! xDD Ahhh.. for uploading. I always uploaded my pics with tinypic. I was too lazy to try to use a photobucket. [@kiralight] Junior year, for me was harder because of state exams and teachers prep you up for PSATs and all that BS. Senior year [for me] was a breeze, and I always played around and procrastinated on stuff yet I still did fine. I was an honor rolls student 3/4 quarters my final year, which was surprising since I'm lazy as hell, but I always make it important to keep my grades up, though I never struggle, thankfully. My personal advice about college, take care of it all now and this year! If not that, take care of it during the earlier time when you're a senior. [@GM] Yeah, it's malware or something related to that, which isn't too serious. And sometimes if you can't remove 'em with a sweep, you can google for help and find out how to delete them manually. They sometimes hide in folders which you most likely never ever visit, so sometimes people disregard that possibility. Yeah my dorms are expensive as hell, but there's nice matching furniture and you really don't need to pay for anything but personal stuff (cable, internet, etc.). I never got a chance to go with my aunt to Wachovia yet, I don't know, she like never texts me or stuff. I can't get pissed off though cause she's busy as hell, lol. My one friend though at another school got notice of his loan when he was about a month or so into college. Yeah, plus these people will be different from people in high school, and in high school I didn't have many close friends due to our personal differences and hobbies and tastes, etc. But here in my college, I'm confident I can meet more people similar to me or just flat out chill to hang with. And yeah, I hope I meet a lot of the ladies, lol. My friend told me the girls in his fashion building at his school are HAWT!! Flickr is a website, it's not like imageshack or photobucket. You host picture files, yeah, but it's more you're showing others pictures you've taken or whatever, for the most part. Check it out and take a tour and explore their site. You'll find amazing photography for sure. And yeah you need an account basically, to host your files of course. The new iPod is going to have a camera in it from what I read. News of it releases next Tuesday. I'll get my iTouch with my Macbook soon, so I gotta get used to using iTunes, lol.
