@Werrior: Hey buddy! Long time no see! :D I missed you! I'm glad to see you back here, doing well. ^__~ Pic one: I love the pose and the style! I can just see all of the care that went into this in ten minutes. XD I wish I could draw that quickly! The only thing, like everybody else pointed out, is that his eyes start too high on his head. Another small thing, is that the top of his head appears flat. If you made it rounded, he would be a smexy beast! Pic two: Wow! You are great at drawing girls! :D Once again, the guy's eyes are a little high. Pic three: Excellent style! I love everything about this picture! Pic four: This is really cool! I love the iPod concept, and the hollow masks. Keep it up! Pic five: This is definitely my favourite of yours. I love the detail in the cross. It is so..... ZOMG worthy. Haha. I have a question for you though. On the guy's shirt does it say L? And on the girls shirt does it have the steel heart frame thing from Death Note? XD I just noticed these things. Pic six: That is too cool for school! I love the colours and everything about it!! Was it made in photoshop? Can't wait to see more from you! Hopefully you'll stick around, yeah? (and yeah, Ebil Kitty is still around) Shinji: Hey, great to see so many new works from you lately!! Pic one: I love the style in this picture! The pose with the little boy and the horse is excellent too. ^___~ Pic two: I really like the lolita style here! She's in great proportion too! :D I have to ask though, where are her eyes? XDD Can't wait to see more!! Ru-chan: Hey!~ Congrats on summer break! You're so lucky. I still have two more weeks XD I guess you'll be getting ready for your trip to China? Pic one: Hey, nice drawing of Rogue, Storm and Sage. It looks great!! I love how you always fill up your paper! The shading is magnificent! :D And don't be worrying about drawing too many Marvel characters. You should see how many Bleach ones I have XD Love to see you drawing! @Mia: Hey, I haven't seen you in this thread before! (goes to show how observant I am) I like your style! Pic one: Its a shame that you drew it on lined paper. I always find the lines distracting. I think the pose is adorable and you did a wonderful job nonetheless!! :D I've got a new one coming. Haha, its taking me over an hour just to lay it out. @__@ And it's not quite how I want it to be just yet. D: It makes me sad. I don't want to have to burn it.  |

Yo everyone! @Mia, welcome! Pic 1: I love your attention to facial detail, eyes especially, quite well done! It reminds me of Kurapika from HunterxHunter actually! @Nekomimi, thanks so much for comment! Your advice was very insightful, and I really wish I had done what you suggested! If only I had photoshop I could try to correct it...lol, probably shouldn't have split Rogue in half...thanks again though! @E-chan, thanks for the congrats! You guys have two weeks? I just love your color contrasts especially Naruto! OSHA~! @ forest-san eep! I saw those on DA I'm pretty amused by it, they look so cute :D @ red rackham Your choice of colors are pretty wise-thinking XD Regarding shading, I suggest using the smudge tool over the edges so it can have that "pressure" and balance ^^  |

@immpy Hmm....nice idea...i'll try that later. But still, i really love that style. I, who can't use screen tone at all, think that it might be the best way to create doujin without using any screen tone. I have Manga Studio 3 debut ver.(a program that help you create screen effect in manga, including screen tone) but i really don't have any idea when and where i should put screen tone. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oh...by the way, i found my old drawing, from my last doujin. The orginal has gone along with my destroyed room during earthquake last year. But i remember that i have scanned the first chapter....this is one of the page (sorry the text are in indonesian language) :  Look...i also didn't use any screen tone (but the drawing are bad...ehehe). |

@ red lolz I meant the shading on your colored art C: from the manga page that you showed on your previous post, it barely has screen tone actually--most of it contains impact effects which are nice content to create fight scenes ^^ I also have Manga Studio, but I uninstalled it because it's so complicated. I just sticked to Photoshop XD nevertheless, I love the way you paneled the scenes and really showed nice angles and details on every frame :3 |

@imppy LOL....sorry, i seem to misunderstand you. Yeah...manga studio is great software but more complicated than photoshop, i also already uninstalled it ~_~ Anyway, not only at that sample page (from that doujin), but the entire doujin that draw by that artist use no screen tones(PM me if you interested, i'll give you the link). Thanks....actually, i have plan to recreate that doujin in my holidays. Just wait, i'll upload each pages here. |

FA: Great job! :D Pic one: Great proportions! I love how you have so many girls in there! I have troubles drawing girls and group pictures, so I am impressed. XD It looks wonderful! Great shading! (when I saw your camera string I like... freaked out. I didn't know what it was but it scared me) Kakashi 232: Welcome to this thread!! Pic one: Hey, not bad! Akamaru looks great, that's for sure! But I noticed on Kiba that his face is a little unproportional. The first thing that could be improved is that his one cheek is chubbier than the other. Try to make it more symmetrical. The other is that his nose is fairly low on his face, making his face seem loooong. I think if you made his mouth a little bit bigger, and repositioned the nose, you wouldn't be able to tell your drawing apart from Masashi Kishimoto's! Schala: ROFL!! I should get Kaylie to scan it, eh? Hahaha What pages should I get? Or should I just redraw it again? |
