It has to lead to something, but episode 5 was definitely awesome. I'd say 85% of it was new stuff for the most part, and I loved this episode. I felt it wasn't recycled, it was nice seeing everything so new and different. 25 pts for KyoAni there! Kyon almost figured it out. The certain scene where he asked Haruhi about HW was definitely foreshadowing. Of course... *spoilers* but her reaction was definitely a surprise (and it was insanely cute! HIRANO AYA!!). Here are some AWESOME screens:      I've never seen Haruhi look more beautiful than her in that Kimono with that hairstyle. And I made one with a behind shot of Mikuru and her shirt because of the airplane being some sort of symbol. And her pig tales were definitely cute. Never get tired of Goto Yuko's crying voice for Mikuru. ^_~` I have a feeling next week will be the final Endless Eight episode. It better be and if it is, it'll be huge. There definitely won't be some troll, KyoAni wouldn't stoop to that level. I still believe in them, strongly.

nice sceenies. I definitely liked haruhi's look during this episode. and mikoru's the messed up look was...... I cant find the right words. o well just hearing the tagalog translation of SOS dan really just made my day. ^_^V |

AWESOME PICS indeed DA! i love haruhi's expression on the third pic...priceless XD @darkzero the tagalog dub was pretty decent...though mikuru's voice needs more tweaking and nagato is just meh >.< |

The latest episode apparently had a quality animation unlike the other Endless eight (though I didn't like Mikuru's yukata this time :/ but Haruhi's just so <3 ) I'm with DA on this one. The next one would be epic sicne they've already made such a fuss about it. In KyoAni, We Trust!! >__< DELIVER OR ELSE KYOANI :U

Next episode is already out but I'm waiting later for my group to release their subs. (quick edit) --- Here's an interesting quote from a user on a blog about this: Just watched Endless Eight Part 5 (2nd season episode 6). It’s (almost) certain that next week episode will not repeat the same events from previous 5 eps. There are 2 reasons (for me to think so): 1) Kyon’s clock only reached 23:59:59 before screen went to the ending video and 2) This was the only Endless Eight episode directed by Tatsuya Ishihara (Haruhi series director, and also responsible for the two “pivotal†eps in season 1: TMoHS I and TMoHS VI). I bet next ep will start with Kyon calling Haruhi (or viceversa) exactly one second before midnight. I’m sure they have each other’s number on speed dial… This made me think about that, because if you pay attention to the episode thoroughly, you'd notice that the episode rushes a bit and skips a bunch of things shown in the previous episodes, but not much. You might especially notice this small detail in the later, second half of the episode, closer to the end in fact. Also did you guys notice the "loop" at the last scene where Haruhi is leaving? Did you notice how it replayed three times when Kyon stood up? At fist when he stood up and I heard Mikuru and Itsuki react, he had it conquered. Although it failed, could it be possible he nearly "broke" the loop if he did say something (as in, he nearly did)? Of course the scene I was most focused on was when he was in his room with the unfinished HW. That clock thing could've been a HUGE clue on what is to happen next. Because of the new episodes being fused into the original '1st season' episodes, they don't show the previews of the next episode (DVD for the original, right?). But yeah, like that user said above, the episode ended right at said time. It's funny that he could easily change anything, even for a few more seconds, if he just simply touched his phone, or did something else like just stay awake or not go to sleep. Although I though this episode would be the final one, it could be time. On the same blog people talked about the "8" Kyon doodled onto the list. That is a HUGE clue which has NEVER happened in the previous episodes! Some members talked about this: It was either eight, the #, signifying that the loop would maybe last for eight episodes, and other members discussed it was the symbol of infinity (this huge loop). Endless Eight = Endless August, as another user commented, which is true. Anyways, it might've only been me to see it, to feel it, but this episode "felt" different than the previous four. It felt quicker, I felt the episode skipped things shown in previous episodes, and I think this week... will definitely be the episode we're waiting for. Even if it's another Endless Eight episode, I feel something is going to change it all. ...another interesting thought, some users talked about a possible third season even.

Wait, wait, wait a second here. There's something off about this that he left out. Maybe it's a secret, but he said that he only wanted it to be two episodes, or that they could only produce two episodes out of this all. After that, it wasn't explained why it extended, to what will be six. (probably secrets). So, from what I got from this, he was forced to extend it? So... someone else is responsible for this, NOT the directors (who are in charge of the whole project!?)? Maybe it actually is the company itself, since they do a lot of things their way sometimes... There's a few things left unsaid, and one person you can't blame here is him. Btw, which director is he? The one who was directing the new season thus far (before Endless Eight V)? As fans, what can you do really...

@DA-san: he is the former director of KyoAni(was in charge for the first season), the one who extend it is the current director regardless of what he said in the interview, i still believe KyoAni would pull something spectacular as Yamamoto-san no longer involved in the production, the current working director probably have something new for the fans

w00t~! Got Aya's Super Driver single, and as expected, it's way too awesome to handle. I hope it hits high on Oricon charts, it's really addicting if fans haven't heard the TV size version yet. The other single with Super Driver is "Aishite", which is also really good. It's her fast-paced, pop/rock style of music, and yeah it's pretty darn addicting. Both singles can definitely be a hit for sure, but wow I love 'em. AYA-CHAN!!<333 [EDIT] No way Ishihara has been the director from the beginning. Might've been even someone else unless I can find a source somewhere... Was Yamamoto in charge of making the new season, too? Unless... there's a third director we don't know about. Wiki's info is definitely a bit inaccurate, but you gotta find this info on blogs or something.

Hmmmm they can finish the whole endless eight in the next episode if they wanted to... Well, doesn't matter anyway. I have waited for their absence for 3 years before this. A repeating episode with different animation for every week is nothing compared to that. Anyway, out of every episode of E8, the scene that never fails to pique my curiosity was when koizumi said he's gonna take the role of saying "I RAB YU" to haruhi, then silence for a while and the camera won't show kyon's face. Also happened in the novel. I wonder why. Jealous face? Some psychotic "hands off my woman" face? |

lol, probably. Maybe it's just darkness and shadows, and you see those two huge stars sparkle? Death. Anyways, more on Hirano Aya, I'm so going to try to get her RIOT Tour DVD Concert! Haven't seen her in concert since Gekisou. Too bad Super Driver came after the initial tour planning, but a few of my favorite singles performed live, like MonStAR. Plus, she looks as cute as ever. I'd buy this if Japan actually made DVDS for Region 1. The only thing I really hate about Nippon. ;P

lol, of course I'd search for it. ^_~` Wait, you already dLed her RIOT TOUR DVD? I've been dLing concerts lately, too. I recently dLed three of Laruku's last three concerts before their hiatus. The thing that sucks is I can't burn them. Do you burn any concerts onto DVDs? I don't have a program to burn 'em.

| oh yes, i did... And yes i burned them. Not necessarily into dvd format though, i burned them just as a .avi file. No need for file conversion or the like, just burn them... I use nero btw. |

Hmm, shouldn't be hard to find. I'll go hunt'n' this week or so if I remember. I was going to check out Nero, but it's not a free program. There's a 15-day free-trial version, but unless I find a keygen I won't be able to use it really. But seriously, I'd buy Hirano Aya's DVD if I could, but Japan never makes Region 1 DVDs. Booooooo~

Hey guys, is it just me or is the new series "Disappearence of Haruhi Suzumiya" awfully disappoiting, since the plot isn't really going anywhere right now x_x Btw, i would definitely buy those DVD's too D: |
