@ Ayanami: Like I said it depends on what you want to color it with. For markers I already told you, for pencils, the technique is the same; it takes pressure. For blending colored pencils (even gray scale)on clothes all you need is different shades of the same color. Ex: Maroon - Mahogany - Red You want to apply the darkest color first (Maroon) then go over maroon with mahogany & the uncolored area to give it gradiation. If you're gonna blend in two differnet colors, then be careful where you apply pressure. @ guardianamuka: anybody else? @ Dragonfly: Prisma Markers |

@rei-chan ur sketch reminds me of negima.=] but....uhhh i cant really explain how u can shade it tho....think of something.like the way he is faced.ill show one of my fan arts.  i wanna shade my other one too...  |

@ Ayanami: Well usually it depends on pressure, but since I didn't use pencil on both Majing & Shindou all I had to o was go over certain parts with the same color a few times. Both Majing & Shindou was done with markers, but don't use normal markers. Those were done with prisma markers. you can go over a few parts a couple of times (usually once or twice) & the color blends itself in to look solid only when its wet, so you kinda have to color fast. Then you wait til the color dries (usually 5-6 seconds) & go over the parts you want to be darker a few more times. Depending on how dark you want an area can take 4-20 applications of the same color. For the white to other color parts, you use a colorless blender. This however does require different levels of pressure. If there's anythign else you want to know just ask me! @ guardianamuka: Who's the other? |

@Ninja Soup- WOW! I think you could Silent soldier a run for his money =D. I like the colored ones alot, did you do that in colored pencil?! Cause It's nice. @princess cookie- That's neat that one of your works ended up in a magazine=). And very nice on the shading and colored pencils. Have you ever considered using a pencil blender to smooth out the shading? regardless it's really nice. I gave up on my lastest work(I think I'll stay away from my comp's art program for a while) and go back to shading and colored pencil...It always liked it better.  |

@princess cookie: the shading should be more blended in....yea...thats the only suggestion i'll give u.....BUT overall it is a really nice pic. I absolutely CAN'T draw half as good as you so i have no place for critism |
