nope,i dont believe in love at first sight.. i had a crush on my classmate when i was 15,and yeah, that was love at first sight then after a while, we started hanging out, send letters to each other eventhough we were in the same class..doing all those sweet little stuffs then,we started going out.. we laughed,we fighted, laughed again.. then, things started to become sour he couldn't accept some of my habits, vice versa lost of 'chemistry',we broke up, end of story yeah, i accept that some longterm relationship start with LAFS.. but, it just wont work with me  |

Yuki how can you not believe in love at first sight. You did when you met your bf. It wasn't until after that things went downhill. How do you kknow it can't happen again?. Try and go back to the begginning of the thread and read some if it. Maybe you'll change your mind.  |

rin your story about meeting ranger and falling in love with him is so sweet and warm..i wish i can love like that.. i guess, the reason i dont believe in love at first sight is that my relationship didnt go too well..that really hurt me when we broke up, so i vow to understand a person deeply before loving him. besides, with love at first sight, i think its mostly about lust. and, with your sight you have to judge that person but you dont know how sincere he is uh..its really complicated but love at first sight sure is sweet^_^ |

So after the MOMENT is over....it isnt love at first site. So you DID fall in love at first site, but then it is "gone" And you can fall in love at first site and get to know them better either before you go out or after, I would go with the first one but the second one will work too ^_^ And AngelYuki, Dont feel so bad, ok? If he dumped you then there must be something wrong with him ^_~ And dont let it get you down ^_^ It doesnt seem to have done that....so that is good ^_^ I am sure you will find someone else ^_^ Even BETTER for you this time ^_^ man I am really SIMLY today and dont know why ^_^

AngelYuki, (I would IM you but I cant T_T at school, they block the IMs T_T) Dont say that!! It may take some time ^_^ But when you do find that SPECIAL someone and things work out.... you might be GLAD that all your other relationships "failed" ^_^ Cause if they didnt....then you might not have never met them ^_^ And also life brings us many things.... We need to just overcome the bad and embrace the good ^_^ I am trying my best to explain...hehehe....^_^; I am glad that nothing happened between me and Heather(first girl I asked out), cause if it was different....I dont know what would become of Eternal and I. However it didnt work out(^_^) I met Eternal and now that is how it is. I hope to still be friends with her though. Now that I think of it she was a little....fishy...lol... well I hope you understand that cause I dont know if I know ^_^;

I didn't even remotely believe in "love at first sight" [or any other non-logic based occurance] - I approached any such thing with laughter and mockery. .....then, I met my fiancé. We became interested near immediately, he broke up with his girlfriend at the time in order to see me, and we were engaged 6 days later. That was almost 5 months ago, and we're rather happy in our stable, mature relationship. He say's fate, but I say "um.... it's a coincidence!". I guess I still have my pride, as I am reluctant to eat my own words. So, ultimately, there may not be "love at first sight", but there may just be the occasional happy coinsidence, if you are so lucky. :D  ºAevaº aeva.livejournal.com |

| I think I would believe in lust at first sight. If a girl is lookin' good I'm the first to let them know. Still that is superficial and doesn't mean I love that person. It just means I'm attracted to them. Love is something that,atleast for me, is rooted deep and needs time and lots of care for it to grow into its full beauty. Ofcourse, if the girl I was initially attracted to is a great person by my standards then I guess you could call that love at first sight and that would make me a believer. |

@Yuki, Rin wasn't my first girlfriend. Nor was she my first wife, however she is my last one. @Avea I looked at your profile, you should talk to Rin. My! My! as she would say. Obsessing over Disneyworld, Rins favorite place. Engaged after what? 6 days, took me longer to ask Rin. 6 weeks, Married 3 months to the day after we met. So what is near immediately. For us it was definitely love at first site, the same evening in fact or at least in that first 12 hours we knew each other. Saw a thing last night on the the the science channel that says love is chemical reaction that stimulates the brain and that people are now using this to catch spouses. I like Rin's way better. As for lust at first sight and the last thing I can think of at the moment is lusting after Rin in that dress she was wearing. Riiiight!!!!! Too much dress too little Rin, that's not exactly the hot blond wearing a convertable red dress. |

I believe in lust at first sight I just don't embrace it. Love at first sight is very different. To say you love someone and to say you lust somone is like comparing a Geo-metro to a Maybach, there isn't one. There are people who I could never bring myself to lust towards namely people like Whittney, never could I do that. In fact thinking about it makes me feel icky. She's like the daughter I haven't had yet, probibly because all the memories I have of her are of a little 7year-old. Aeya, love is and will never be logical. Even if it were ther would be no logic to it, anything that can overpower anything though subtlety is bond to be illogical. What is logic anyway, the process of thought. The last time I checked you can't realy think "love" it just is. Ranger, I think I've seen that one, wait, which one haven't I seen. That two year period when all I watched was the science channel, I still see re-runs of stuff from three yeas ago. that's the best part about science though, you can wactch the same stuff over, and over and learn something new each time. The question is... how much is too much dress, when the dress is three feet wider than you, or when you are wider than tall? Are there levels of over stuffed? i.e. pillow fluff, up to "oh my god, I can't see the sun." |

The question is... how much is too much dress, when the dress is three feet wider than you, or when you are wider than tall? Are there levels of over stuffed? i.e. pillow fluff, up to "oh my god, I can't see the sun." Something like that. It was one of those foral gowns with a huge layered skirt. Very wide. As for over stuffed. Like oyu said a fluffed up pillow a big pillow. No got a better one. Ever get a package wrapped in that tissue paper? All around everything with just the top of her sticking out. I wish I had a picture and she's going to kill me for telling you. She really had a problem getting around in it. |

To tell you the truth, I really don't believe in love in first sight. To truly love someone is to bond emotionally as well. Usually, it's just lust at first sight. Of course, you may be able to read a person by say looking into his/her eyes (they say that eyes are a portal into a person's soul), seeing what she's wearing, etc.
You need a reason to be sad. You don't need a reason to be happy. The secret to happiness is to face the fact that the world is horrible.
