Manga. It's the first adaption of it. It pulls you into the story. It's the original ideas of the Manga-Ka. best of all: It's available in many languages and it isn't edited by cartoon network and 4kids!!! XD

| id say it depends on the series. some anime, i like watching it, other i perfer reading it, and some still, i like to watch it, then read it to get ahead, then watch what they make out of the chapters ^_^ |

Obviously, it greatly depends on what series we're discussing here. Personally, I'm an anime guy and reading manga is really quite rare for me, but I've read manga before. All together, I think they're pretty evenly matched. Depending on where you go, anime can be better/more popular and vice versa with manga. You can even add visual novels/novels, too. I think there can be a category for them. ^_~`
