Anke l Just behind the academy gates l 7:45 AM Anke had tired her best, but as he saw someone take down the goblin leader she let most of her magic fall. Only freezing the goblins closest to her team mates. Who was that hooded figure in the distance? she thought as the world spun around her head and she fell to the floor unconscious. She would have to go home and build up her stamina. There was no end to the physical training. Not with her weak heart. Why did her team mates have to see this, as far as she was concerned. Only Vivian knew about her heart, the rest would think she was just weak. Why did she have to be so medically weak? She would be unconscious for sometime.  |

Fenris [7:45AM | Front of the Academy Gates] Fenris noticed the goblins lose heart and start fleeing, that meant that their leaser was probably dead. Fenris sighed from relief, that was one less thing to worry about. Now he would need to inform his friends, He took a small hollow cast-iron ball from his pocket along with pen and paper and wrote a short message. "Don't come near until the storm has died down." Then he threw the ball towards Anke and Vivian and just in time. As the ball landed in front of his friends the winds picked up more speed again making it nearly impossible for anyone to approach him. The winds around were so fast that they sounded like howling. ???: Howling Cyclone. Hopefully Vivian and Anke would pass his message to the rest of his friends and to those who would come with battlemaster, so that no-one would be hurt.   |

Looks interesting, can I still join? If so: Name:Aeon Age:23 Weapon: A staff and a cloak which augment his magical abilities Abilities: Magic Drain: Drains the magic from his surroundings. Normally sealed with a multi-layered seal because of his inability to control this power, and the strain on his mental state when more of the seals are released. While normally a passive ability which allows faster gathering of magical energy to cast spells and minor protection from magic, he can also use it to assist in the learning or use of magical abilities used on him or near him. Adept with seals, barriers and ballistic type spells Able to use basic magic of all sorts, but usually not as well as he would like Personality: Somewhat arrogant, and not the most friendly person due to his solitude for many years, but is generally respectful of others. Picture/Description: Since I don't know how to post pictures think of nagi from Negima (yes I mean nagi not negi) but better kept, and an infinity symbol adorning the back of his cloak. Also a large seal stretches from his mid-back down his left arm, which is visible as he gathers magic for spells. Bio: He grew up in a family of mages, so he considers the use of physical force to be barbaric, and as a result of this refuses to train himself physically, only wishing to better his magical abilities. Usually found poking through a book on some form of magic, his desire to better his abilities never ends. At the age of 7, Aeon lost control of his magic drain ability which resulted in the deaths of some of his family. After many attempts by his family to teach Aeon to control his powers, he left at the age of 11 on a self imposed exile. However, this proved to be futile, and now the only way he has to control his magic draining ability is a seal that covers over 1/3 of his body. After giving up trying to control his drain ability he entered the academy at 17 in order to improve upon the magical skills that were lacking at the time. Aeon | Just behind the academy gates | 7:45 AM Out of nowhere a large magic blast eliminates a number of the frozen goblins. Aeon, who just came from the academy, surveys the situation, frowns and says "Aww, I thought this ceremony was going to be boring, so I slept in. Now all that's left is the cleanup". Noticing the collapsed Anke, he walks up to her and does a quick chant to form a protective barrier around her. Looking towards the cyclone, he notices Fenris is trapped inside. Deciding that Fenris should be fine on his own, as he was quite strong - even for a barbarian, Aeon leaves the area, looking around for others to help. |

[Academy Gates] The battle have finally ended, but Zero noticed that fenris is still surrounded by a cyclone. He knew there are two ways to rescue Fenris, one was call the battlemaster for help, and the other is if he pull Fenris through the astral world, that he usually go through. No one at the academy knows that he can go through the astral world and appear in another place. Zero: Should I do it or not? Zero decided he should wait awhile longer to see how the battle master would rescue Fenris.  |

[7:45 AM] [Just Inside Academy Gates] "Right!" Anke replied The shadows disappeared and the goblins nearest Anke and Vivian stopped dead in their tracks. "There" Anke breathed. Vivan noticed that she was very weak, as the shadow magic had used up most of her energy and that had put her weak heart to its limits. "Now Vivian!!! Use your arrows!!" Anke said. "Got it!" Vivian replied. And with that she started to shoot the arrows at the heads of the goblins closest to them. She was very accurate with aiming her arrows, but she wasn't very powerful, so she always aimed for vital points such as the head or the heart. Just as she was taking down the last couple of goblins with her arrows, an iron ball was thrown towards her. "Don't come near until the storm has died down." Was written on it. That was probably from Fenris, who still has the storm raging around him. Vivian passed it on. "Everyone! Don't go near Fenris unless you get permission from me!" She shouted. Vivian didn't want to let anyone in because she didn't want them to get hurt, but she didn't know how long the storm would last. If it went on for a long time, then she would have to let some people rescue him...  |

Ankes eyes opened to and notices a weird film surrounding her body. It was one of Aeon's protection carms. Great! He had noticed her and put this charm on her even though Vivian was standing right next to her. How embarrassing!! "Ug. Release." she told the charm surrounding her. "I wasn't out for that long right?" Anke asked Vivian hopefully, "No one but Aeon and yourself notices right?" She hated looking like the week one, she wanted to make sure she could protect the strategist of the group and make sure her team mates would not be harmed, but that was a hard thing to do when your physical body prevented you. "Fenris is still in that storm. I wonder how much longer it's going to last." |

Fenris [7:50AM | Front of the Academy Gates] After Fenris had thrown the ball he had started moving towards the forest. Noctis had went towards northeast so he was heading northwest away from him. He waved to his friends and entered the forest. After he had walked for about 100 meters into the forest the winds picked up again, this time becoming so powerful that they started ripping the trees around him up from their roots and the ground around him was getting caught up too. ???: Vengeful Tornado. They would propably notice this, some of the goblins had and as soon as they tried to enter the tornado they were thrown up so high that there was no way to survive the fall. Fenris standing in the eye of the storm couldn't do anything else than wait at this point. |

[academy gates] Zero sense that the storm surrounding Fenris was no ordinary storm. He get the feeling it was a mage's doing. Zero walked over to Vivian. Zero: vivian, you best have anke go to the nurses. And there is something i need to tell you. I believe that storm surrounding Fenris, is caused by someone, someone who is a mage. We should ask the battle master to rescue Fenris. I don't think Fenris can last much longer if this keeps up Zero waited for her reply. |

[academy gates] [around 8AM] Vivian saw acharm be put around her best friend. She looked around, and then saw Aeon nearby. He must have put the charm on her, she thought. "Ug. Release." Anke said. "I wasn't out for that long right?" Anke asked Vivian "No one but Aeon and yourself notices right?" Vivian nodded to reply, only she and Aeon had noticed it. "Fenris is still in that storm. I wonder how much longer it's going to last." Anke said. Vivian also wished that she could know how much longer the storm would be, but alas she did not know. It has been quite awhile since he was first in the storm, and she wanted to rescue him. However, if she did then she would probably die in the process, and the same goes for anyone else as well. Once Zero noticed that Anke was awake, he walked over to them. "Vivian, you best have anke go to the nurses. And there is something I need to tell you. I believe that storm surrounding Fenris, is caused by someone, someone who is a mage. We should ask the battle master to rescue Fenris. I don't think Fenris can last much longer if this keeps up." Zero told her. He was right about them needing to take Anke to the nurse, Vivian knew that, but she didn't know what to do about Fenris. She needed to tell Zero her concerns. "Yeah, we should take Anke to the nurse. But... I don't know what to do about Fenris... I mean, I would love to have the battlemaster rescue him, but most likely he would die from the storm..." She told him. Then, she suddenly got an idea. "I know what we can do! Zero, if Noctis isn't busy, could you please ask him to run an errand for me? Tell him that he must run as fast as he can to the library. I hope she is still there... tell him to look for the old book keeper. She is very wise, and she might know what to do about the storm surrounding Fenris. Although the library is very big, and she could be anywhere in there. I have only seen her a few times myself since I have been in the academy, but she is always in there! And tell Noctis that the order to go to the library and to find the book keeper is an order from Vivian! Also tell him to report back to me on what she has told him." She said. Vivian first met the book keeper three days after her first day in the academy. Vivian knew for a fact that the book keeper was smarter than the battle master. Althought the battle master is stronger, he does not have the knowledge that the book keeper has, and that might just save Fenris... but in the meantime, she helped Anke to the academy nurse. |

[front gate] Zero decided to use his telepathy skills to contact noctis. Zero use his sixth sense to search for Noctis, as he did, he tune in to Noctis' mind, and began using telepathy. ~Zero mind-mind with Noctis~ Zero: Noctis, this is Zero. I have a order for you from Vivian, she wants you to go to the library and search for the book keeper, as fast as you can. As soon as you found the book keeper, tell the book keeper to come with you and report back to Vivian as soon as possible. Do you understand? Zero waited for an answer from Noctis. |

"Thanks for coming with me" Anke said apologetically, "can walk on my own though." As the pair arrived at the infirmary Anke sat down on the bed and clutched at her chest. She was experiencing a mixture of a fiery burning pain, and a sharp stabbing pain. Beads of sweat were forming on her forehead in reaction to the pain. Anke took in a quiet breath, "I'll be fine Vivian, you should go help Noctis find the book keeper and help rescue Fenris. I wish I could help, but I won't like and say that I'm up to it." The nurse came over and was about to open her mouth to ask what was wrong when Anke cut her off. "I need five of your strongest anti-flamitory spells, a strong pain killing spell, and strength boosting spell." Anke looked up at Vivan once again, "I'm going to be fine in a few moments, I'll meet you outside once the spells kick in!" Anke smiled brightly to emphasize that she would be alright then shooed her friend out of the room. She laid back as soon as the infirmary door shut and wiped the sweat off her fore head. How embarrassing!! |

Vivian had walked with Anke to the nurse, just to make sure she was okay. "Thanks for coming with me, but i can walk on my own though." Anke told her. Sweat came rolling down her head as she clutched her chest. This isn't her ordinary heart pain, Vivian thought. Let's just hope that she didn't permenantly damage her heart. "I'll be fine Vivian, you should go help Noctis find the book keeper and help rescue Fenris. I wish I could help, but I won't like and say that I'm up to it." Anke said to her. Vivian was so sure that she was as good as she made herself look. She is lying to me, Vivian thought. She knew she was lying to her not only because she is good at detecting when someone lies to her when certain facial muscles move or when the pupils in their eyes start to get smaller or larger; but she also knew how stubborn and strong headed her friend can be when it comes to her heart. As Anke told the nurse what she needed, Vivian started to leave the room. "I'm going to be fine in a few moments, I'll meet you outside once the spells kick in!" Anke shouted out after her. I hope she really is alright, Vivian thought. To be sure, Vivian waited for her friend outside of the infirmary, and then they could go off to the library together. |

Fenris [8:00AM | In the forest] Fenris felt as the tornado died around him but he didn't have time to relax. Firstly this ordeal wasn't over yet and secondlt there were about two dozen goblins charging him. Fenris looked at the approaching goblins and knew that he could take them... If he wouldn't be so tired. The storms had been out of his control but they had used his magic to fuel themselves, this had been told to him back at the Fang he just hadn't realised how strong magics they had been talking about. But here it was the final stage let's hope for a miracle. ???: Chain Lightning. Fenris lifted his hammer above his head as the air around him started feeling greasy. He had felt something similar when Noctis had used his more powerful lightning magics. There was a loud boom and a gigantic bolt of lightning shot at Fenris striking him down, the bolt then divided into several smaller bolts that bounced through the goblins killing them all and then striking the trees surrounding the area, greated by the tornado earlier, setting them ablaze. Fenris was lying in the middle of the clearing in a hole created by the lightning bolt that had struck him. There he sensed someone approaching. It was one of the masters of the Fang using his spectral form to communicate with him. Morkai: Fenris. Fenris: Yes. Morkai: Well, this is extraordinary. Fenris: That I'm alive? Morkai: That too, but even more astonishing is the fact that you're conscious. Fenris: So you've come here like this because? Morkai: You know what this means? Fenris: I do. Morkai: The amulet you had has changed to signify this. Good luck on your journeys from now on, farewell. Fenris: Farewell, brother... After that the spectral form of Morkai faded away and Fenris started losing consciousness, but even so he was smiling. With a light smile on his face Fenris fell unconscious. |

[Noctis Lucis Caelum|8:10 AM|Near Library|] When Noctis heard Zero's voice he immediately went into action and not having time to reply he used his quickening skills to further enhance his speed.He knew time was of the essence.When he reached the Library after a few minutes he looked out and saw the tornado subside and felt Lightning energy gathering. He stood still and looked out and laughed. "What the hell is that old man thinking?" he said as he jumped to the window ledge and made his way to Fenris. Arriving a few minutes later,he saw that the hole it made was similar to the one he could produce if he really tried.He saw in the middle of the crater,Fenris lay unconscious.Jumping down he looked at the smiling face of his comrade. "What a shmuck..." he said as he kicked Fenris with his boot lightly. "Oi..Old man,don't die on us on the first fight." Noctis said as he tapped him again with his boot. Looking around,he saw he was alone.Sighing he started to gather energy in his left hand. "I dunno if this'll kill you or not,but I don't wanna carry a sweatly old man back to campus on my back." he said as he planned to wake Fenris with a small jolt using his lightning element.  |

Aeon|8:10 AM|Near the rear of the academy Aeon smirked to himself as he finished his check for any injured and remaining goblins. A few minutes earlier the noise from the tornado had died down, Aeon assumed Fenris was safe, as Vivian was there ready to assist, and with the barrier he provided for Anke, he knew that Vivian would not have to hesitate for fear of her friend being hurt if Fenris needed assistance. The goblins were also dealt with amazingly efficently, there were very few students injured and there were no goblins in sight. Aeon decided the only disappointment was that he did not get to try out the new charm he had put together. He was sure mixing "haste" and "fire" would have interesting effects.... But this was not the time to dwell on the magical possibilites of charms, he needed to give his report about the attack to the faculty. Goblin attacks of that scale were not usually dealt with as well as that attack was, especially during a time as hectic as a ceremony, something was off... Of course, it could be just him. |

[Front Gate] Zero just finished sending noctis the message. He then walked back to see how Fenris is doing, and saw noctis there. Zero anime sweatdrop. Zero: That was fast Noctis. Zero then saw that Fenris was unconscious. Zero: Wow, never see the day that Fenris will go unconscious. So you going to sap him awake? I think Fenris has enough zapping for one day. Zero knelt over Fenris and start slapping him in the face. Zero: Yo wake up, this is no time for you to be napping! Zero continue slapping Fenris until he wakes. |

Fenris [8:20AM | In the forest] Fenris felt something hit his face again and again, until he raised his hand. Unfortunately he has used the hand which his shield was attached to and he felt a small impact on it. Fenris opened his eyes and blinked a few times until his sight focused and when it did he recocnised the two figures standing nest to him, Zero and Noctis. Zero was apparently the one who had slapped him as he was clutching his hand. Fenris: Is everyone okay? Fenris saw Noctis nod and he sighed in relief, he hadn't hurt anybody, then a thought crossed his mind. Fenris reached for the amulet that he always kept with him and it had indeed changed instead of the snowflake and hurricane symbols it had before it now had a human shape with a snowflake, hurricane and lighting bolt visible in the background. So that how it was... Fenris: So I am Stormcaller... Fenris then rose up with little aid from his friends. Fenris: Thanks. Fenris then walked where his hammer had landed and was surprised when he noticed that it too had changed, there was now runes in the head of the hammer marking this weapon far older than he had been told at the Fang. He then looked at his shield and was not surprised to find similar runes in it's surface as well. This was the reason why masters of the Fang had taken a mere student as a part of the Order. These weapons were not old they were ancient... |

[Forest] Zero: So you are finally awake, took you long enough. Though I never thought I would see you unconcious in battle. Zero grinned. Zero: To tell you the truth if i didn't slap you awake, it would be noctis who will zap you awake. Zero then heard Fenris muttered: So I am a stormcaller. He saw Fenris got up and walked over to his weapons. Zero: Stormcaller? I think I heard that title somewhere before, but where. . . Suddenly he heard someone yelling his name. Zero recognise that voice. He looked at the direction where the yell was coming from in panic. Zero: Mao. . .uh sorry guys, I got to go, I'll see you at the ceremony!! Within second Zero disappeared on Fenris and Noctis. Just as he disappear, the person who called his name came into view. It was a girl with strange cat ears. Girl: Hey you two, have you seen a guy with black and white wings on his back, a guy name zero? |

[Outside the infirmary] [8:15 AM] While Vivian was waiting for Anke to heal, she was watching he storm around Fenris from afar. The infirmary was on top of a small hill, and from the hilltop she could see the forest. She notcide the storm getting stronger in power, and then a lightning bolt crashed down in the middle of the storm. Oh no, Vivian thought, the book keeper is too late... Then, the storm subsided. This made Vivian curious as to why the storm would do this, and she hurried off to Fenris, leaving her friend behind at the infirmary. She was just reaching Fenris while Zero was yelling at him and slapping him awake. Idiot, Vivian thought to herself, just use a spell to get him awake instead of harming him. However, as she was thinking this, Fenris was waking up being unconscious. "So you are finally awake, took you long enough. Though I never thought I would see you unconcious in battle. To tell you the truth if i didn't slap you awake, it would be noctis who will zap you awake." Zero said while grinning. Vivian then heard Fenris mutter "So I am a stormcaller..." Vivian gasped. She knew the title of Stormcaller from her studies, and how it was a very powerful and respectful position in society. She had also noticed as she watched Zero help him to his feet, that his sheild had changed. "Mao. . .uh sorry guys, I got to go, I'll see you at the ceremony!!" Zero exclaimed in a panic. Vivian wondered where he was going in such a hurry. "So, Fenris, how are you feeling? You said you are a Stormcaller now... That's pretty impressive." Vivian told Fenris as she smiled at him. |
