well well well, next episode, and the world would cry again... Damn that's fast. From the flashback of ishval straight to the burial in 1 ep. Gotta love the flashback. I suspect they will remove some parts of the awesome flashback, but my favorite part is still there i think. "If you want to protect them all, you gotta go to the top." Hell yes Mustang |

does he really have to die again?(haven't the manga). I still thinking he won't, since there are already a few things that makes the story completely skew away from the original anime. like Tucker(not sure about the spelling) is already dead, in the first version he lived thought the series. and the other factor that I new from over reading stuff on wiki. besides Hughes is much more cautious in this version than the previous one. haven't seen the past 2 episodes completely. did greed finally made an appearance? quote "If you want to protect them all, you gotta go to the top." couldn't agree more. |

Dude, I see the phone booth and Mustang standing at attention with his hair slicked back on the preview. Do not tell me that Hughes is not dying. My heart will bleed again. I have actually read the manga. And yes, Hughes does die in there. Same phone booth, same bloodthirst Lust and the knife stuck in her head. I forgot if Ency in Gracia's form was part of it, but most everything else is the same. Since this series mirrors the manga so closely, I think it's safe to say that Hughes is doomed again. |

| yes, gracia's face is used. That highly rage inducing deed by envy can't simply be altered can it? Dunno about the anime, but they should use the scene for consistency's sake |

also sloth is not around yet. so I was thinking there was nothing for him to investigate. I guess it was just wishful thinking. I was hoping Hughes family won't have to go through it again. Roy's gonna be devastated again also. |

I finally got around to watching the first few episodes of Brotherhood and I enjoy what I see (though, it will take a while for me to become used to Edward hair color) I'm surprised about the pace of the anime, but I suspect it will slow down once it past the 'repeats' dark: In the manga, Tucker dies, so it's still to it pretty well. Plus Hughes pretty much have to died for to make Roy's motivation to get to the top higher. Now I have to watch more and forget about it for a few months xD  |

@bonta oh right, in the first anime he investigated sloth... Well, the difference starts now i suppose. yes, roy would be devastated. And that would give birth to a more awesome roy the first series roy could never hope to be. |

I know FUNimation licensed it. They put up the first 6 episodes up on youtube subtitles and all. They had more episodes up, but they took them down for some reason. I'm not so sure how close they're following the manga this time because the first two episodes weren't in the manga. And then they skip over three chapters. :shrug Oh well, it's pretty awesome, first episode was amazing, and the opening is awesome. Yui is great like that.

I am really glad Funimation is really getting on top of this series right away! It means I'll own it on DVD quicker! -I love the opening! Its great! I can't wait til the site has the full version up! Same goes for the closing! -The art... I like it, but the old series had a way deeper art. This one seems sort of glossy. I still cried, but at times it looks too much like Lucky Star for me. -I don't like how fast they're going. I think they should pace it a bit more, because if they catch up to the manga then they're going to fill a really great series with (puke) fillers!!!!  |

Yeah, um, I skipped Hughes's death. Love that preview. I loved Panina in the manga. Looking forward to the next episode. @IntelligentAlchemist: (you must be pretty intelligent to type your username like that all the time) I think that the opening's never going to find its way on here. It came out a few months ago, but it's still not on Gendou. You'd have better luck trying somewhere else. |

| and so he dies... Again. The inevitable, unfortunately. But really, i don't feel that sad seeing it the third time. Just behold, those who haven't read the manga, this event is going to develop to an awesome arc, unlike in the previous series. |

@ bonta, About sloth... I believe sloth makes his appearance in episode 34, but since this one is more concurrent with the manga, he isn't the sloth we know from the old anime.  |
