well usally we don't really need to say I love you that much but we can express our way of saying love you by like cooking, doing flavors going out on dates and such and it depends on how strong the bond is between the two

hhmm... for me, it's not really necessary, what important is your action. Because word is word, no more, no less... it's only one way to express ourself. And action speaks more than words (for me of course ^^) so saying "I love you" is not really necessary except when it really need to be said. |

well i would like for someone to say that because at those important times it can make someones day but actions to speak louder then words and what you do is always more important then what you say. actions to me are forever but words fade away unless they are backed up with something.

no, for me... it's because.. first little explanation... before saying "i love you" is kind of sacred word to people coz they will only say it to the person that they truly love.. Today, that word is just like a common word.. you will always find people saying i love you anywhere and everywhere.. for them it's just like normal in they everyday life...am i right? Now, for my reasons, like i said how people used that i love you now.. what's the use of saying that word if u didn't really mean it.. for better understanding/.. don't ever say that word if it doesn't come from your heart... simple isn't it?

I think if you show your love through actions there's no reason to say "I love you" just as long as you show it but I do think that if you have that special someone it's not a bad idea to say it once in awhile just to let the person know it in cause they don't feel the love through your actions just to comfort them so they know for sure. We need to say it depends on the situation. :D I mean you can't say I love you all the time because there are times wherein it becomes a halfhearted statement. I love you. should always be said at a proper time, place and reason :D  |

I really only say it to 4 people in my life, my mom, dad, brother, and boy friend. Of those four I say it most to my boy friend and least to my brother. But Lacus is right, you should really use it when the time is right. I like to say it when I say good bye, or goodnight, or when my boyfriend dose something that makes me feel happy.  |

I would agree with Lacus Just saying I love you during bad mood, you just made the couple very unstable mind though. But, you need to collect your courage to say it. Its not that easy to confess toward other people. When you confess, there slightly chance you approved or rejected. You might suicide just because you were rejected. Luckily our world don't do magic. Otherwise, you use black magic to control person's heart :P    |

i guess its a reassurance thing? but i dont really believe in it some people are so young and when they say it, its so unrealistic :/ also, if there is trust, they will know you love them and if the lvoe is true, they should be able to feel it |

Nope. Not at all. This is my belief. Why say it then do it? When your saying or thinking it, is it really true? How do you know if it's not just empty words? Love should be express with action and compassion. That person should run towards you when something bad happens to you. That person should always be by your side. That person have to truly dedicate themselves to you. There is no word in the word that can truly express love.  |

| there is this level of communication, wherein two persons know what the other person will say even though they hvnt evn gave a hint of saying it..it's like their gazes jst met and that's it, they conveyd the msg..that lvl of communcation is built overtime..when that time comes, then saying i love you wdnt be needed.. :) |

I think there's nothing wrong expressing your love to the person who's dear to you. People might tend to believe it's ridiculous or corny but there's no such words as corny to those people who are in-love or just want to express how much that person important to them. We have been gifted by a power of expressing our thoughts so it's not a sin to say "I love you" to the person you loves. |

| There are many ways to express love. However the most direct way is just to say it. So if you really mean it then say it now and say it often because you may not have the chance tomorrow. Only the right ones will say it back to you. |

If it's about showing your feelings by saying "I love you" vs. expressing it, it really depends. The other person might just enjoy one saying it alone, or they might prefer to have it shown to them. It also depends on the person who wants to communicate the feelings. If it's about showing your feelings at all vs. not at all, it's still better to have some communication. If a person simply acts nice and such to another because they like them, but they don't say so, the other person will never be able to tell for sure. IMO, for at all vs. not at all, it's more beneficial if one takes the initiative. There's a 99% chance of finding out the other's feelings instead of a 50% chance.  |

It might sound mushy, but there is indeed a need to say "I Love You" to other people. I myself have never said it to any other people than family, relatives and close friends, but I had one person say it too me before... ...the feeling is indescribable with words... However, if someone really takes the initiative to say those three fateful words, it should be taken seriously as a confession of feelings. Say it when you have to, when you have a reason to and also, when you are sure of it as well ^^  |
