Hey, Aya Hirano is really making an impact as both a seiyuu and a singer. She's popular too nowadays since the Suzumiya Haruhi and Lucky Star series. So its Aya Hirano!

Definitely Rie Tanaka. Not just because of her voice acting skills, but for her singing abilities as well. Quiet Night, Fields of Hope and Mizu no Akashi are songs that will have a calming effect on your soul (maybe I am exaggerating a little). In addition, she also goes on to prove that fast songs do not pose a problem to her, as shown in Quiet Night C.E. 73 and Emotion. Horie Yui would another seiyuu that I feel deserves recognition. Cute voice that can sing equally well.  |

male: nakai kazuya(sound rough and manly) ryotaro okiayu(unique and versetile) nobuyuki hiyama(sound brave) kousugi juurota(calm and noticeable) ueda yuji(can be aggresive to funny to calm) ohtsuka akio(low and wise) seki tomokazu(can be funny or calm) ishida akira(sound sexy) miki shinichiro(voice of a prince) hoshi souichiro(versatile) takahiro sakurai(bishonen voice lol) midorikawa hikaru(unique and calm) takehito koyasu(cool and in control) yamaguchi kappei(young and funny) etc... female: kawasumi ayako(sexy and cute) mamiko noto(mysteriously cute) hirano aya(can be childish or sexy) paku romi(manly lol) orikasa fumiko(versatile) shiraishi ryoko(simple yet still good) tanaka rie(can be very calm or very cold) kugimiya rie(perfect for tsundere character lol) etc...  |

I can't believe I missed this thread! I have many seiyuus, I love them almost to the point where I judge anime partly by the cast XD Guys: Miki Shinichirou, Morikawa Toshiyuki, Fukuyama Jun, Miyano Mamoru (seriously he needs more cheerful roles), Sugita Tomokazu, Ishida Akira, Sakaguchi Daisuke, Suzumura Kenichi. Ishida is probably the only guy who makes me watches the anime he is in even though it might be a bad anime. Ladies: Aya Hirano, Paku Romi, Maaya Sakamoto, Minami Takayama, Inoue... sth (Belldandy in AMG), Kugumiya Rie
Oh no... Oh no... Y do I feel more and more Konata-ish???

i love Miyano Mamoru, his voice just makes me melt @.@ i really like Seki Tomokazu a lot too, hes done some great roles. As for females i would have to say Romi Paku and Aya Hirano for sures ^-^  |
