Taiki, Mokona, Shadow Ninja [this character duznt quite get hte notion of being on ur own is completely absorbed by the fact of the state against state thing, so this is just a part of his understanding at hte moment:] Taiki narrowed his eyes suspiciously at Zero. "If you're not with us, then are you against us?" Taiki asked threateningly. "How can you be a wanderer in times of war like this?" Taiki led the group further into the forest through the path. It eventually emptied out into a clearing which climbed up a slope to a hill. On top of the hill was lights and the town of Tsuyari. Before moving onward towards the village, Taiki wanted Zero to answer first. Bringing enemies into a village was not what he had intended.

Kojirou, Mokona, Shadow Ninja Kojirou catches up with Taiki in lightning speed "u handled those Nataski warriors pretty well so i didn't help u fight them..Taiki." Kojirou spots 4 five inch wide spiders n expertly cuts them in half with Kageyoshi.Kojirou looks at Zero "are u friend or foe ice ninja...?"

Taiki, Mokona, Shadow Ninja "Even your closest friends can be an enemy. We cannot trust anyone as there has been spies in this part of the states." Taiki leads the rest of the group up the hill. "This is the town of Tsuyari. Since it is close to the borders, and on top of a hill, it is often a strategic post." The shadow ninja halted at the front of the large wooden doors. The stone fortications of the wall loomed above them menancingly. Guards moved to the guard tower. "Friend or Foe?" They asked. "Friend, I am Taiki Ishikawa of the Azuma clan. These here are friends as well." Taiki glances briefly at Zero before looking back up at the guards on top. "Ahh, Taiki, the shadow master, welcome back, sir!" Sergeant Hoshiro replied with a smile. "Open the gates, men." The doors creaked as it slowly swung open. The entire fourteen feet of solid wood reinforced with steel groaned at the stress on the hinges. It opened wide, revealing an amazing sight. The town was often considered a beauty and the cobblestone roads were a very visible sign. The houses were decorated and made out of splendid white stone. Flowers hung every now and then along at a regular interval. The shingles were red and matched the red tinted roads. Greenery was grown along the sides of all the roads. They were home, Tsuyari, the jewel of Everglade forest.

Taiki, Mokona, Shadow Ninja Taiki addressed the passer bys who were wondering who Zero was. "Although he is a stranger, this does not mean you treat him with disrespect does it? Where is the hospitality of Tsuyari which was once the very thing it was proud of?" The few people who were Taiki were talking to replied. "This war has made us all uneasy. Every stranger that crosses these doors are subject to suspicion." A second villager replied. "For that we apologize. But even our closest friends can be a foe." [that quote is becoming repetitive lol. even our closest friends can be an enemy XD]

[yea i joined much earlier too...] Taiki, Mokona, Shadow Ninja Taiki left the group of villagers and went down the street. The fresh night air of the town seemed to be untouched by the war and smell of death. It was the only place which was unchanged so far by the war. He smiled inwardly at the environment. It was so pleasant to relax here once in a while. Not to mention a secure fortified easily defended position. It was also close enough for him and the other shadow ninjas to keep their eyes on the Nataski encampment in the valley. He walked to a pub near the Azuma clan's complex, where he lived, and sat down at the counter. The atmosphere was always noisy and a comfortable cozy heat. He ordered a Butterbeer and sipped it slowly. The pub was always assorted in terms of the people who visit. From warriors to local farmers, they all seeked shelter in an unchanging, warm environment, where secrets do not exist and darkness cannot prevail. Laughter always filled the house.
