Sun Jan: Yes, I will gladly accept your help. I must start to rebuild my army. It has been a long time and I no longer believe my old army is still active. I would like to send you out to find as many of the old members as you can. ...If you want to go looking through for the others for real thatd be cool too!... (Sun Jan hands Sero a small intricatley carved stone) Sun Jan: Whenever you find someone or something that you think I should know about just concentrate on this stone. I will come to you. ...Even If I could I wouldnt say no to someone who is willing to write. Btw to recap a few "guidelines" When a character does certain things there are certain formats you might want to follow for the clarity of reading for other people. To have a character speak generally we use something like: Sun Jan: Hello this is how we talk. To have a charater perform an action or to add plot to the story wed use: (Sun Jan helps explain the actions and plot) To have a charater think we use: Sun Jan://Im thinking// and to say something not related to the story I like to use: ...This is unrelated to Sun Jan or the story... I hope we get some new faces and hopefully get some of the old ones back... |

*a man in a cloak walks up to Sun Jan is it?* Hello I am Sero. I am a half breed of demon and angel and am able to split into my dark and light self. I have various techniques, like my light self is more towards defense and my dark self is more towards offense. here is me:(my wings I am able to hide, but I do bring them out when needed)  uh....may I join? (I may not be much use, considering I do not write much ^_^; But this sounds like fun ^_^)

Sun Jan: I am not sure I will survive the fight with Edakumi. He is more powerful than any enemy I have ever faced. If I dont not make it through You will need to take charge of the army. I know you can handle the responsibilty. I have been honored to have you with me in this war. |

(Jan is Pacing up and down the length of his room. He is not used to the kind of luxory he and his army had been living in for the past month. Not knowing what else to do the townsfolk had named him an impromptu King. Jan never wanted power. He was used to commanding armies not maids and townspeople. He had done what he could to get the people back on their feet but they needed someone more used to the position. Which meant he needed to find the queen. Not an easy task. He had no idea where Edakumi might have taken her. All he had left was a riddle. But it made no more sense to Jan then being King did. The riddle read: To save the Queen then follow me Into the land you cannot see and open the door that has no key Jan did not know how to go somewhere he could not see. And how was he supposed to open a locked door without a key. Jan had been pacing and thinking about this every night since the kidnapping and it still made no sense. He decided to take to the library and see if any researching migth help.) Librarian: What do you need Lord Jan? Sun Jan: Please just Jan. I am looking for a blind land and a keyless door. Ring any bells? Librarian: Hmm... Im sorry Lor- Er Jan. I dont recall ever hearing of what you speak of. And I have almost every book in this library memorized. Sun Jan: Damn! How am I supposed to find him? This is madness! (Jan notices a display case covered in dust in the corner of the library.) Sun Jan: Whats in that display case over there? Librarian: Oh that. That is a small collection of old maps. The queen had a special interest in the layout of the land from ages ago. Sun Jan: Do you mind if I take a look at them? Librarian: Sir, you are the King. You may do whatever you please. Sun Jan: Right, of course. (Jan walks over to the display and starts taking out old rolled up parchments. He spends the next few hours pouring over the maps on a strange hunch.) Sun Jan: Dear God ive found it. Im taking this scroll back to my room. If you would please send for Funsch to meet me in my room. Librarian: Yes my Lo-, Jan. (Less than ten minutes later Jan is sitting in a chair near the fireplace nd Funsch walks in. Funsch: You wanted to see me Jan. Sun Jan: Ive figured out the riddle. Funsch: You have! Excellent, what does it mean? Sun Jan: Take a look at this old map. (Hands the scroll to Funsch.) Funsch: This is just a map of an territory of an ancient kingdom. What could this have to do with solving the riddle. Sun Jan: It is a map of the land we now call the Mali Mountains. It used to be called the Blind Hills. On that map there is a cave called Ent Cave te Loch. In the old language it means locked cave. The land we cannot see is the Mali Mountains and the door with no key is that cave. I believe if we find the cave we will find the Queen. Funsch: But it must be a trap. He wouldnt make it that easy to get him. And what about your duties here. Sun Jan: My duty is to find the rightful ruler of this land. And I dont believe this is a trap. I have hurt Edakumi's pride by making him flee. He will want revenge on me. But he would not want to trap me. This is something he will feel he has to take care of personally. Therefore when we reach this cave I will go in alone. Funsch: But that would be suicide! Sun Jan: No it will be sparing the lives of anyone who would come with me. Do you really think that Edakumi will let anyone but me get to the end of that cave alive. No. He will kill anyone who comes in to make sure the final fight is between me and him. I will go alone. But the army will come with to help me search for the cave. Funsch: As you wish. Sun Jan: Prepare the army to move: And inform our friend that he is to be the stand in while I am gone. Funsch: Yes sir. Sun Jan:// This time I will be prepared for you Edakumi. I have been training harder this past month then ever before in my life. I will destroy you once and for all.// |

Edakumi: Silence is key to victory. (He raises his hand higher this time, having his mind connect with nature. Sun Jan starts to hear sparks coming from him, and all of a sudden--- A giant wave of energy comes hurling out of his body, having everyone who is watching the scene fly up and off. Then, with a pull of his arm, he freezes everyone in mid air. Except for Sun Jan.) Edakumi: (Slowly circling Sun Jan) There we go. Isn't that better. No one will interfere now... Sun Jan: I did not come here to talk. Die villain! (Sun Jan launches forward to attack Edakumi, then quickly realizing that wasn't the best way to approach.) Edakumi: Fool... (Edakumi slams Sun Jan down on the ground, then raising his hand, he takes control of Sun Jan's body, throwing him up and back down, and into the castle walls. There is no escape. He tries to break free, but he gets crushed every time he tries to move.) Edakumi: So that's it? That's all I can expect from you? You're worthless. You were worthless then, and you are now! (Edakumi throws him onto the ground once again, harder, hearing something crack.) Edakumi: Unconscious. Believe me... if I had my Muramasa with me, you would be cut in half. But this is quite fun! (Sun Jan gets thrown a few times around the place. He crashes into nearby fruit stands, kiosks, and buidlings.) Edakumi: Oh, you're quite beaten. Still breathing? Tell me how this feels! (He's about to throw him once again, when he hears a voice from atop the castle.) Queen Tylindae: Good Morining everyone, I have been cured of my horrid flu. Rest assured, everything will be back to normal soon. (Suddenly, everyone falls down, not binded by Edakumi anymore. Sun Jan falls, but doesn't get up.) Edakumi: My Queen! You have distracted me from my fun. Here, I'm coming to you now, for your own safety. (He's about to leave, but he gets hit in the back of the head with the handle of a sword) Sun Jan: Leaving so soon? (Sun Jan picks up a sword dropped by a fallen comrade. He slices across Edakumi's face. Ho comes at him faster and faster, forcing Edakumi away from the castle.) Sun Jan: I didn't know you could become so easily distracted. Did I come at a bad time? Ha! (cuts deeply into Edakumi's left arm.) Edakumi: AHH! (Throws him back) Ahem. Good day gentlemen, it has been a pleasure meeting you all. Hope to send you all to Hell sooner or later. (Making a run for the castle, he signals the guards to block the entrance.) Sun Jan: No! Let us through! Stop him! (But just as quickly as it had started, it was over. Sun Jan did get a small feeling of satisfaction, but he hid this from his fellow members.) Funsch: Hell. I wanted to get in on the fun. Are you okay Sun Jan? Sun Jan: For the most part. He did hurl me around the courtyard, but ill survive. Funsch: What was that that broke during your fall? Sun Jan: Oh, nothing important. Queen Tylindae: AIEEEE!! Sun Jan: No... Edakumi: (Atop the castle) Yes. She coming with me one way, or another! (Leaps off the castle and vanishes from midair...)  |

...Well its three in the morn here and im pretty much fried. But to answer your question Id either wait till Polski posts again tommorow or post something that wouldnt interfere with anything that he might say. For example if you wanted to post your view of the battle and the flight to the city that would be fine. If you posted that Edakumi suddenly died that would not be fine... |

Sun Jan: I see you have met my old friend. Yes, he has been helpful in the past and it seems he is helpful now too. You cannot have her Edakumi. You will leave this city now or perish. (Edakumi laughs cruelly.) Edakumi: You think this is over. That you have won. I though you would have figured it out by now, We are linked, you an I. We have been battling for ages and ages. You have never beaten me. I am not finished. Sun Jan: What do you mean we are linked. Battling through the ages? You must be mad! Edakumi: So. You really dont know. We are destined to continue fighting each other till the end of times. Sun Jan: No. The prophecy. It cant be true. I must destroy you. Your evil cannot be allowed... Edakumi: Dont try and dump that whole evil bit off on me. You havent always been the valiant hero. Or doesnt your "brave army" know. Sun Jan used to be an assassin for the Order. He murdered countless innocents. He has killed children to force their parents to give in to the Order's demands. Funsch: Is this true Jan? (Sun Jan is silent for a few moments then speaks to his men.) Sun Jan: Yes this is true. I am very ashamed of my past. I have done many horrible things that I can never atone for. I am a changed man. I fight for the light now. But If you want to leave I will not stop you. (Jans army cries out in protest.) Soldier: We would never leave you Jan. We will stand by your side until the end. Whoever you were before you are a different man now. (Jan feels love and pride welling up inside him and a new determination sets in.) Sun Jan: You see Edakumi. You cannot turn my men against me. And you cannot win against me now. Prepare to die. |

(Tie-in with last post by Josh) Queen Tylindae: Oh, thank you gentlemen for being so nice and thoughtful. I hope I can wear this cold off soon. Doctor, how long will I have to stay in bed? Doctor (looking out the window): I'm not sure milady. You have come down with a severe sickness that I'm trying as hard as I can to look into. Lay in bed, don't talk, and go to sleep. I will visit you tonight. (Exits grand bedroom) (Doctor to guard): Where is he? Where did he want to meet with me? Guard: In the dungeon. Follow me. (The doctor gets led down the hall, to the first floor. They stop at the entrance and the guard whispers to his friend. He nods his head, and leads them both down a small dark hallway.) Guard: Just follow these steps, you'll get to a door eventually. Tell the guard downstairs that you're the doctor. He'll let you in. Doctor: Good. He reaches the door and goes through, showing the guards his identification. Guard: Down this hall, then take a left. He's expecting you in the room on your right. Doctor: Sir? Are you here? I was told I could meet yo-- Edakumi: Come in. Doctor: Sir? Edakumi: Sit down. I assigned you to be the doctor. You will leave the Queen alone tonight, and have her pass away. Doctor: (Backs away slowly) What... you can't do that. You're a spy sent out for murder! Guards! Have at him!(The guards, under Edakumi's call, block the doorway.) Edakumi: (Stands up, towering over the short doctor) You are not going to get in the way. (Raises hand) And now you failed me. (A quick burst of energy shoots out of his hand, knocking the doctor into the corner, sending him into a state of paralysis) (While walking in the hall, towards the Grand Bedroom) Have the queen die off. Guard: But once she has fallen, this entire capital will--- Edakumi: Do not question me. You are under my allegiance now. I will question you. How are the necromancers? Guard: Yes my Lord. They are on duty my Lord. They have summoned a militia of the undead to stop Sun Jan and--- Edakumi: No. It will do nothing to him, or his men. It is a mere obstacle. They will be coming here to Cerandin one way or another. This place is to be gone by the time they have arrived, understand? Guard: I.. I don't understand my lord. What do you mean by "gone"? (Edakumi flashes a dark glare) Guard: Ah, right you are...? Now, my muramasa, is it ready? Guard: Yes my Lord. Come with me to the armor--- Assassin: Edakumi, your visitors have entered the city. Edakumi: What, they're already here? No, I must get to the queen! Guard: Your weapon sir.... (it was too late. With haste, Edakumi ran up to the grand bedroom where the queen was awaiting her demise.) Edakumi: Damn fools. (He ran a few stories up, as fast as he could, all the while rethinking his plan... Busting through the door) Edakumi: My Lady! What have they done to you? Please, let me see how you are doing... (A white , robed figure emerges from the shadows.) Healer: Enough, fiend. Let her go, I have come to heal Queen Tylindae. Edakumi: You? You were never supposed to be here! (Edakumi holds up his hands, chanting unrecognizable words. A burst of energy shoots out... but misses the healer. Healer: Not as skilled as I thought you were. (The healer uncovers his staff from his robes, and pushes Edakumi towards and through the window with it.) Healer: There is someone down there that you might recognize. (Edakumi falls a few stories onto the ground. He gets up as quick as the fell, and realizes all the citizens around him. In front of him, San Jun stands with his group...) |

(Sun Jan once again prepares for battle. He senses that Edakumi has sent this to slow his arrival to the city. Jan knows he has failed one queen but he will not let this one die. He must make it in time.) Sun Jan: We run straight through them! Fight as you run. We must make it to the city. Tylindae must survive. (The army sense his urgence and starts the ground eating stride they were trained to do. Some of the army may even know the reason behind his urgency. Queen Tylindae was Sun Jan's first love. She was the first and perhaps only woman that he had ever given his heart to. They had a falling out many years back but he would do anything for her. So the army fights against the skeletal army with more fierce determination then they had ever before. The army crashed through the first lines of skeleton warriors at a dead sprint but was forced to slow as the opposing force grew in numbers. Even then they still kept up at a jog. If the skeletons had had blood the ground would have run red with it. Instead the path behind the running army was covered in a layer of bone and dust. In the lead of the army was Sun Jan. Jan fought like the very devil himself. At an almost berserker pace Jan smashed, cut, and plowed through his enemies minions. The skeletons were not the strongest enemy that Jan had ever faced but they had large numbers on their side. But even with their overwhelming force Jan cut a path for his army. His men saw this and pushed ever harder. After more than an hour of fighting and running they came to the last row of skeleton warriors.) Sun Jan: Ok men! We run till we reach the city. When we arrive I want you to storm the whole place. I want no opposition. We must make it into the castle and save the Queen. Try to avoid damaging the innocents and the buildings but do what you must to quell Edakumi's forces. We may face more skeletons on the way so look sharp! (An they did indeed meet more foes. Many more. And they were much stronger then the main army. But still Jans men fought for him. They still kept up their break neck pace. Jan loved them for it and would pay them back for it when it was all over. Now though he desperately needed to make it to the city. They ran for hours. They continued on till the break of dawn. When it seemed that they might never make it to the city it finally came into view. It was spectacular. But knowing that Edakumi was in control stole all of its wonder. ) Sun Jan: Storm the main gate! (Jan's men ran to the entrance to Cerandin and set up the logs that would keep the metal gate form coming down and stormed the city.) Sun Jan:// Im coming for you Edakumi. I will not let you have this one.// ...Note: Noone should post till me and Edakumi have a little back and forth posting. .. |

(Yeah I remember him Josh, Edukami was the guy who controlled and killed the first queen and Sun Jan and his army must stop him from killing innocent people. I re-read that part of the first post). (Days have passed since the army headed for the South Sea...... The army was never the less exhausted from such a long travel, team morale was starting to dimished by every passing day, ever since the hermit was nowhere to be found, and the army hadn't encountered any battles at all, meaning there fighting skills and sharpness were beginning to rust.) Funsch: Sun Jan how many more days do you estimate that it'll take before we'll reach the South Sea? (Sun Jan raises his right hand and shows 2 fingers. Some of the soldiers seem frustrated and mumbled something about not being able to cope with this boredom and exhaustion anymore. Then all of a sudden a figure slowly materialises in front of the whole army and the army look surprised to see who or what it was. Sun Jan whispers some name out.) Funsch: What? Edukami..... Edukami! You mean this is the villian we are after? (Sun Jan nods) Funsch: Hmmmmm..... This looks a bit too suspicious. There's no one else around him. It could be a trap. (Sun Jan orders all his men to be on guard and stay behind him) (Shunnets was annoyed and his right eye was twitching. All of a sudden he could no longer take the boredom and lunged at Edukami. He was too fast for Sun Jan to restrain him. He punched Edukami before realising his fist went straight through him.) Funsch: What!? It's an illusion. (Sun Jan ordered everybody to guard all there flanks.) (The illusion of Edukami slowly disappeared and his evil laughter was heard.) (The sky all of a sudden went dark and thunder storms were heard. All of a sudden something began to unburrow slowly from the ground. Sun Jan told his men to brace themselves. When they could make out what was unburrowed from the ground they realised they were surrounded by an army of skeleton warriors.) |
