@Shishio: I"s Pure is a six episode anime based on the I"s manga by Masakazu Katsura. The anime is released as OAV's with approximately one month between each episode - five episodes are out and subbed thus far. Genre-wise, it would fit in Romance, Drama and Comedy. Summary: Sixteen-year-old Seto Ichitaka has a crush on Yoshizuki Iori, a girl in his class who has become so popular she now has her own fan club at school. [She is also a model who recently made the cover of a teen magazine] Since the day he first saw Iori-chan, Ichitaka has been too shy to even talk to her, but one day he has the perfect opportunity: he’s selected randomly to work with her on the two-person Freshman Welcoming Ceremony Committee. Just as things are starting to go well, Ichitaka’s childhood "girlfriend," Akiba Itsuki, returns from the U.S. at the worst possible moment. Ichitaka spends the rest of high school dealing with his emotions and trying to get together with Iori-chan, even though he always has the feeling that she’s uninterested in him, despite her kindness and friendliness towards him. If you are interested in this series, make sure you look for 'I"s Pure'. There was an earlier series called simply 'I"s' that used the characters from the manga, but not the story line. The result was rather strange, and was not well received by the viewers. Also, there is a bonus mini-anime that comes out with each episode of I"s Pure. The bonus features run about two minutes and are called "Ichitaka's Delusion Diary". They consist of Ichitaka's dreams and fantasies about the girls, are quite a bit more ecchi than the real episodes, and are for the most part hysterically funny.

FINAL WINNERS FOR ORIGINAL AND FUNNY ANIME PIC CONTEST Ok first I am happy to declare winners of the original, hand drawn anime pic contest, and also of course the funny one! FIRST, ORIGINAL ANIME PIC WINNERS! I haven't forgotten you, winners of original pics, check out these talented young artists, you will be very impressed, all this art was drawn by the person! There are no ranked winners because not enough people entered, besides I like all the art a lot! Hisoka, she presnted several very beautiful colored pics, just like this, check them out on page 16! Midori posted an adorable self-portrait of herself as an anime character, very clever! Finally, Suzaku put up this exceptionally pretty and serene picture of this lovely angel, not only is it beautiful, but it is very soothing to look at! Nice job girls! If you ever color these pics or draw any more, please post them here, I'd love to see them! Finnally, there was another part of the contest involving original art by other artists, Midori and I were the only ones who entered this portion, I present this Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X art by Haku Baikou! If you like this, there is MUCH more on page 16, including pics of the other characters! Last but definetly not least, the one of Kenshin and Tomoe, my fave overall! Finally, on page 23 you can find Artwork from Yaya han who was introduced to us by Midori-chan, like the Kenshin art of Haku, this is must-see art, Shishio's Promise! She draws several different anime characters too, so expect to see a few of your faves there! Here are a couple of hers, this colored Chobits: Also, Kamui! I guess it is decided, next contest will have something to do with anime game stuff, but I do want to expand on that theme somehow. Speaking of GG, I played one of the best Dizzy players last year at EVO, I should have used May, she is a Dizzy killer, instead I used Sol because my May wasn't at 100% yet, bad move! Once he got a knockdown, he would fake as if he was going to attack, and I would Volcanic Viper on wakeup, a good idea if the enemy is attacking, but he wasn't; he faked me out about 5 times! It may sound like I wa falling for the same thing, but you had to be there, he was really good at faking out, like to the frame! And he made it look like if I didn't wake up VV he would have smothered me in magic; oh why didn't I pick May?! She can slide under Dizzy when she casts magic on reaction for a free CH and a mixup, and use Dolphins to out-magic her... Here is another model, I nominate Nami!
