| i know that, but it feels like he's gonna get his ass whooped rather than have them fight then itachi would back down or wont go at it at full force then retreat..you know that sort of scenario...he might not be able to do something cool against itachi |

If they wanted to, they can kill Naruto, but they can't since they're busy getting Gaara's Biju outta him. Wonder if Gai can remember Kisame yet. ^_^'

lol, I don't think that'd be necessary. Not their way of doing things. I think granny told Naruto and all of them why they waited for Naruto to get his training done. It wasn't that they cared at all on what he was doing, they needed time to prepare for the jutsu or something like that. They're better off not worrying about Naruto. A single member of Akatsuki can handle Naruto, and you have Itachi assigned to take his Biju. That's more then you can ask for really, so everyone else can relax and worry about finishing the jutsu. Hmm, if they did somehow break it (doubt they can though since it's sealed), the only members actually in there are Deidara and Master Sasori. Not sure if they can handle anyone now, but Sasori can handle the job if anything happens (maybe Kurenai's and Asuma's team comes in, who knows). Since Kakashi is taking care of Itachi, and Kisame is with Gai, nobody can really run around them and make a straight forward move. It'd nearly be suicidal attracting more Akatsuki members. Also, keep in mind Zetsu is like... all over the place in the forrest, too. XD

didnt they say it takes them 3-4 years before they could remove another bijyuu? I'm pretty sure Gai's Team could own Kisame. Naruto vs Itachi... hard to tell. You would think itachi would win but maybe naruto has some good new tricks up his sleeve.

Itachi's capable of doing that easily. Kakashi can't go toe-to-toe with him though... I have no clue how strong the old lady is. XD About Naruto facing Itachi, he's too uptight to appear stronger then Itachi. I doubt he learned anything that dramatic to surprise the Mangekyou Sharingan user.
