yea i was also thinking about that. here's wht would happen. Too much morphing was happening at the single spot, and there was mor epower than the grid could handle, thus shorting out the SR's morphers and rendering them useless.

To add to Haseo's idea,lets make it so that the morphing grid couldnt handle all the old morphers trying to connect to it and it fries. And that happens when the DR provoke a battle which forces them to morph. They fight and thats when their powers go boommy bye bye.

yestterday my mom got home @ about 2pm and has been in the living room since then. but she's starting to feeling better. they said she will hafta stay in the neck brace for about 6-8 week, but she's felling beter so thats good.

While I'm not outright against the idea, I'm still iffy about it. Here are some of my general thoughts though:

1) Let the Saban Rangers have their powers for more than one battle. They won't be a problem initially, but as time goes on, the higher-ups will care more about them morphing. I'm also not a fan of these types of one-shots so early in a story. Also, I still would like the Rangers to exist in with some respect to the pairings I made a few pages ago only because we'd have too many Rangers in one area otherwise.

2) I kinda wonder if there's some Zordon-like figure that wants the Saban Rangers to return to power. It gives a lot more drive to the story if there's a reason why it is happening. Or if said Zordon-like figure takes advantage of the discovery of Saban-era morphers and plans ahead to prepare against the Disney Rangers.

I check in every day, but with college, I don't have as much time to post, just so you guys know.

@Draik: the zordon-like figure would'nt really need to be in it. The Sr i think should elect a leader to try and lead them through it (i.e: rocky or tommy) But the thing with the one battle power loss is that they lose it mid-battle. the battle's most likely not going to be soem morph and go. it's going to be like war. As long as there was driving force in the actions, extra's like that wouldnt be needed and therefor, the story keeps itself going.

@kira: we going to involve the psycho rangers in this? they're evil but theyre still rangers nonetheless.

so far its a saban ranger vs disney rangers team death match, once everyone morphs there powers are lost due to being to old or grid malfunctions maybe planned by the disney rangers,(mickey is evil f*cker), but the disney rangers have no problem but let the rangers off till they get the powers back which they know they wont, so the tech of the saban groups find out a way to implement the power into cards so the rangers swipe/insert/fuse cards into a belt/morpher/weapon, i dunno and get the powers back while the morphing grid gets repaired so at the end theres more then enuff power for all the rangers to morph, only to fight a bigger threat!!!

and then Tommy appears along with Trent, the lunar wolf ranger, who transform into there Evil ranger forms + upgrades and defeat the rangers very easily, so the rangers have to work together to defeat Tommy and his 2 friends and then the real genius behind all of this appears, Rito Revolto!!! :U

Anyhow, I'm iffy with bringing canon characters into the story. Yes, it's a fanfic, but this story has an AU feel that makes me hesitant to bring in pre-existing characters.

Interesting idea for villains, though.

well look its kinda like decade, people hated that not every single rider cam e back for the roles and were upset othe rlosers played the rider we all know and love, at the end they decided to bring back 3 actual riders, Black RX aka Saban's Masked Rider, Kamen Rider's Blade Kenzaki and Wataru Kiva real user. so 3 official characters wont hurt :U but remember you gotta make em evil :U lol.

@Ballz: Im also a little skeptical about using characters that were already in the show. I was hoping we could make it as original as possible. And isnt Rito gone? (PRIS season finale).

@Haseo: Oh shiet...that would be nice! But what team would they be on? thats gonna be hard considering that they are part of the saban era, evil, and we gotta decide if we want the whole team or 1 of them involved.

@Draik: You saying you would like them separted through out the city? And joining later on in the story?

though if it is an Alternate Universe some of the rangers would be evil anyways, since an alternate time line is a bracnch off of what happend during the show (i.e. if GaoShark actually DID die, or if tommy wasnt saved from Rita's spell a second time) so tommy being evil can work out.

My only point is that we would have too many rangers running around if they were concentrated in only one area (Saban and Disney both). If the powers were separated and hidden in different regions around the world, it'd be easier to manage the story in smaller groups. Whether or not they join up I'll leave for discussion.

Alternate Universe has many uses/definitions. Sometimes it means a different world entirely, sometimes an alternate timeline as you said, or it could be a complete spin-off.
While Tommy was awesome throughout his time as a ranger, no offense to JDF, but he's overused. It's great that Disney brought him back for Dino Thunder, but we've seen him for three seasons of MMPR, Zeo, part of Turbo, and all of Dino Thunder. The guy needs a rest.

Decade's Decade. Our story's ours. TV-Asahi probably brought OU's Blade and Kiva back just to gather more interest in Decade, especially with the way the TV run ended.

Generally: While Saban/Disney Rangers aren't evil albeit opposing, do we really need evil rangers in the mix? I have no problem with including them, but I feel that if we want to encompass all of PR as it is now, we already have a lot to work with let alone recurring villains.

@Draiken: thats what i was goin' on, that alternate universe has diffrent meanings. just change one event and its an alternate time line, though time lines can be fixed with time travle.

*LIGHTBULB* eh maybe not.

i was thinkin' a time travel gone wrong could set it off, but idk. like rangers form after time rangers time line ,(from further in the future) or some, thing set off the event, but idk.

@Draik: Im down with that and each of us can easily write out those paired fights. And we should have them team up for a final battle. I also believe having evil rangers is not needed but im down with having a psyco ranger on one of the teams. Like Has said, they are rangers as well.
