Kira: I never played the on the arcades, they used to exist when I was much younger, but now it seems they went bankrupt in this city. If I played I'm pretty sure I'd be beaten by some kid : ( I only reach the end of a game because of my stubbornness. I remember I was playing Soulcalibur 4 and my sister wanted to play it with me: she beat me in many fights despite her lack of experience ._. Gmeis: I hope you choose wisely and go or stay at the best place for you, man : ) Adel: I'll take pictures, especially of a certain improv-like cosplay event we have here "se vira no tosco" XD DA: I'll work till the end of this year, then I'll resign. Next year, graduation year, I have some heavy studies to do: professional association admission exams and civil service examinations. Actually I started the studying this year. H: I'm planning on learning piano too, but in two, three years. About making a band, it's a nice idea, go for it. Now I wonder if that Taipei 101 building have also a gift shop and also I could bump into one of the S.H.E members if I was walking around the city.. |

@Adel~ I have a sister but she lives in Virginia. She is coming to Missouri and then going to Taiwan with my dad. I have a ton of cousins in Taiwan though. I am tempted on going in the future. A large change of pace would do some good. @H~ Errr... I don't have a clue what any of my cousins, aunts, or uncles look like. There are never any pictures. And if there are any pictures, they are like 15 yrs. old photos. I have been told that my dads side of the family is a bit high society and my mothers mid-low class. @Froggeh Bro~ Not going yet. Probably if nothing comes my way in next half year to a year or so then yes. As like a job or girlfriend or w/e. I seriously doubt those happening though. 15km?... I don't think that's too far. If you have a connection on the inside a place is usually the best. A better chance of getting hired if you have someone on the inside to refer you. Applications are filled out with all your detail. ALL YOUR DETAIL. SS number, phone number, address, and all of that stuff. I am so tired of filling out all of that, on paper and typing it. @Sam~ I hope I make the right decision too. If I do go, I think one of my cousins should be able to hook me up with a job there. Though... earthquakes and typhoons, I have never been in one. Plus, roaches scare the crap out of me already, I have been told they fly there. >.<   |

[@Kira] When I used to play SC a lot in arcades, I once beat this one biker dude, and like his "friends" were with him, so when I beat him (even though I was trying to go for a streak record by myself), his like, biker dudes got in my face. They just shook my hand and just walked over to play Teken, lol. XD [@GM] You don't remember the peanuts? The pretty asian stewardess gave 'em to Chris Tucker. XD Or wait, was that the Ameircan lady? I do remember the asian lady though. Maybe places don't like to hire asian people. :O [@H] How much does it cost? Guess it comes naturally to players who're God or they must have spare dollars to spend. XD [@samsonov] Sounds like you're about to get a life long start on your career.

H@ Sounds nice.. take a vocal course and know how to play a piano.. my parents,basically after taking my results,they want me to study :x . . . i think i am afraid of something xD Gmeis@ ow.. um.. if the changes will do you good,why not? :) going to Taiwan.. i heard that the connection there will be good and it's not expensive to get one.. so hopefully,if you happen to go there.. you won't complain about the connection xD |

XDDD @Froggeh Bro~ ohhh i see... yeah, not too far compared to the place where i pay all bills. lol hopefully by the time i'm looking for a job i could ask them...maybe there won't be an empty spot...but who knows XD yeah, looking at forms too much will just...like, getting sick of them ._. like some forms at school...i need to fill them, and whenever a new one needs to be filled, i was like, wtf, i filled this already! @DA~ lol I think I remember the peanuts in a cup. Its been a while since I saw the movie. I remember the asian lady too, since Chris attempted to flirt with her. xD lol "Ni haaoo mei"  Whoa, I hope its not that. Including that, a lot of the online applications never asked for my race. They also never called me or gave me an interview either. :c @Adel~ I am still.. tempted to stick it out for a little longer. Though my patience is kinda running thin on the job applying. I told my mother my idea, she told me that more paperwork is involved if I choose to stay there. And that due to me not being able to read or write chinese and only just speak it, I will be at a disadvantage in finding a job there. lol Yeah, no connection complaints there. Only problem is if I don't get one there. o___o @Froggeh Bro~ Yeah, for some reason, I still hope something turns up. I don't want to hit up the last resort so quickly. I try not to worry about it so much so that I don't get sick. But, lately I just get pressured everyday. Erk... bills? Bills for what? :o Well.. usually more places will hire during the offschool season. Some food places hire more during school season, especially near colleges. The online forms take the longest. Its another reason why I prefer hard copy ones. Its not as long and you hand it in in person. That way the place knows what kind of person you are. I am tired of typing and writing both the forms though. ;__; |

A LOT of online applications ask for gender/race. Though I'm saying when you actually show up. Asian flight attendants are just like, one of a man's deepest fantasies! lol, can't get that Family Guy scene out of my head when we talk about this. XD!

finally... I've come back to Indonesia! Will spend the rest of my holiday here before starting again my life as a student in Singapore two months again ^^ @sam Great! Be sure to learn it asap though, because we're getting older and well, our schedule will get tighter as time goes by. I think it's near impossible to talk to my friends about forming a band, their universities' schedule is just insane, it practically has no spare time for hobbies. But well, got nothing to lose by just asking @adel Parents are like that, you should be grateful that they're pushing you to do your best ^^ My parents used to nag me to study as hard as possible AND to take as many courses as possible... and they stopped doing that when I was in 8th grade, to give me a taste of freedom. But that 'freedom' turned me into a lazybum who spent his days by fooling around doing nothing. When I was in highschool, I'm losing my direction and even partly blamed my parents, "if only they had pushed me further", or things like that. Pretty pathetic I must say, seeing that I'm the one at fault ^^;; I kinda regret not living my life to the fullest, so when I told my parents that I'm thinking of taking multiple courses, they supported me like crazy ^^;; @DA cost? well, it costs about SG$ 1 to 1.50, depends on the arcade. If someone aims to become the god of a specific arcade game, he wouldn't worry about the cost, all he thinks is how to attain godhood, with style if possible. Then, it'll hit him when he reaches godhood, "omg I could buy myself a brand jacket with all those money I had spent here!"

[@Kira] Yeah, back then, cause I was like a real gamer, but over the years since I've dropped away from games, especially SC, so you could probably clear me away, plus I haven't played SC in like, two or three years... :O [@H] Yeah, like people who master DDR in the actual arcade. I came across this forum one time of fans who've spent jesus christ money on DDR. :O

@DA~ Some of the application I took online or filled out, didn't ask for my gender or race. Some asked for only one or the other. I filled out an application for Chuck E. Cheese yesterday. That application never asked for my race or gender. o___o lol It is like a dream! Cause I have never seen an asian flight attendant. Makes me want to build a fort out of pillows and boxes. ;__; @ lol Yeaaah, I decided to modify one of the avatars I made at the beginning of this year. xD Errr.. if I get too stressed, I'll get sick. I can't have that happening right now. No Medical insurance at the moment. Bills.. the only bill I use to pay were Med. Insurance and car insurance. Now I am under my father's coverage. More forms?? :O Don't get too stressed from them. @Adel~ Higher chance due to me being a foreigner?? But, wouldn't it be hard if I couldn't read it though? o_O Unless, they are starting to more americanize everything there.. |

H@ lol..my parents never push me for studies.. i do it when i feel like i want to.. xDDDD because whenever someone push me hard on a certain subject,i get the marks as low as they could imagine xDDD of course <,<.. i never really get high score unless i am interested in the subjects xDD pushing is not really my thing :D so i guess different people needs different things? xDD i remember when i was young,my parents were busy working.. and i have to do homework and study stuff by my own(eventhough i have a brother,he just don't teach me at all xD..he wants me to be independent like him ._.) so..in the end,i just noticed i need to learn by myself x_x Gmeis@ Someone in the tv told a story She said she never learn chinese when she grows up she is born in Canada,as a Chinese but embarassed not to know how to talk in Chinese and sadly,she had to move to Taiwan and initially, she had to answer the people with english she said it was hard but you know what,she just managed to learn chinese and even write,and even speak Cantonese and Mandarin fluently.. so i am sure,you can do it cause she can do it too xD sometimes,environment just helps :D and guess what .. she's a star now >.> she can find a job there,why not you? :DDD (i'm not really asking you to be like her,being a star so ._. ..) |

@Adel~ Well.. I am fluent in Mandarin. HAVE to speak it. My dad's side of the family's English is UGHHH. >.< I don't think I have that kind of aptitude anymore. I took 3 years of Spanish and only the REALLY simple basics were drilled in. Oh, I was told I should calls from 2 places next week. HOPEFULLY they will call. I hope they call my cellphone though. @DA~ I grabbed one yesterday and turned it in today. The thing never asked for my gender or race. o__O I guess some of them don't worry about it too much. There are A TON of chinese restuarants here, its not even funny. Places are packed with asians in restuarants and St. Louis Bubble Tea, like ONLY hires asians. Sorry though, haven't seen a cute one at a restaurant yet, but the Bubble Tea place is another story. :D @Onii-chan~ Saika Amagi.  The main girl for .hack//LINK I believe. Medical Insurance will cover for doctor visits. I remember when I broke my wrist, it dropped the price for the doctors visit to only 45$. lol When I broke my wrist is when I started participating in the Forums. Funny though, broken wrist and typing still. It gave me 3 months off of work with pay. xD Best not to get sick or any types of injury. A fracture right now would be REALLY bad. |

[@Kira] Actually the arcade where I was crowned #1 is no longer there, it's some loser "family fun place". :/ Even the arcade out here doesn't have SC, and it'd be like, the third one, right? Unless they added the 4th... wait, there's a 4th one, right? XD Ever play Time Crisis? Like... my favorite all-time arcade game! [@GM] Dude, work there!!! What are you waiting for? Went on my college visit today? Jesus, I stink at interviews that ask me personal stuff when I don't know the other person, though seriously, my tour guide lady was kind of hot. Her fashion was sick, though she IS at a high ranking art school. She had these sexy stockings on and I swear she was not wearing a shirt under those business jackets women wear. I tried my best not to go down that level... if you get what I mean. >_<;; The day was windy and cold as hell. Drove the train up there after driving about three quarters there. I think if I drove, I'd be there faster, but parking is still an issue. Didn't get to see the dorms so like I couldn't see them and if they have their own parking lot. Might be going back though, since I have to take some stupid entrance exam... LAME!

@adel That's good! As for me, I was still a lazybum until the end of highschool, misused my independence by doing foolish things ^^;; It already happened and I can't really say that I didn't like my highschool life for it's the best time in my life ^^ But sometimes I just feel like crying when the thought that "I could do more in my highschool's studies and entered better universities but I heavily misused my freedom" flashed in my mind ^^;; @DA well, I for one, always have headaches whenever I remember how much I had spent on DDR ACs only (ooooh my air force one T-T), and the fact that I'm still pretty far from reaching godhood ^^;; and Time Crisis is nice, especially to show who's the boss in the arcade, it draws the biggest crowd if you play it right. My friend finished TC4 without using any continues and the crowd goes wild ^^
