I was so against to watch fillers again, after all the Bount Arc was sooooo---ooo boring -.- But the storyline of this one is so gooooooood! (All thanks to Kubo for being involved this time instead of crappy random storylines...) I can't wait to see the Vizards in action but now I want to finish watching these fillers first...=D Ah...and also the DVD release of Fade to Black - Kimi no Na o Yobu is almost near!!! I hope it'll be subbed in HQ before september the 5th =3

I've been busy, so I just saw the episode now. Glad you're back online. I hate this, it's like when Ichigo had to save and rescue Rukia from the SSC. The same thing here almost, but Rukia for some reason just throws her life away (she's not dead). Kidou will not destroy a Zanpakuto, especially since Rukia is semi-average with it. Ichigo is an idiot. He holds back because of his friends when his resolve is to always protect them. I hate characters like this, and most likely at a later time, he'll go all out (to save his friends, Soul Society, etc.). Not surprised he didn't use his mask yet, he'll probably use that against Muramasa if they square up, or against a stronger Zanpakuto. Against Soda no Shirayuki I will say this. His speed is getting tarnished if she beats him in speed. Speed is one of his three vastly improved areas when fighting in bankai mode, yet Sode no Shirayuki had no trouble keeping up. About Muramasa being Kenpachi's Zanpakuto, it's very likely, I mean there's clues that already back that up. He's the only Zanpakuto so far who hasn't revealed who their previous (if any) master was, Kenpachi has never known his Zanpakuto's name,I mean the little things we know so far that are true, are likely to lead to this. I can sort of see him fitting Kenpachi's image, and then again I can't. Kenpachi is the only one who can fight against the Zanpakuto without trouble, since he fights purely with his strength (shikai) and his large amount of reiatsu. It's more than obvious he will be heavily involved; this will build up eventually (or it could be something small and tiny). I'd be a bit more interested in Yachiru's Zanpakuto. For some reason the one day, I had a thought that she could be more powerful then Kenpachi. XD *sigh* Since t here's so many Zanpakuto, and we can't know what happens next because the manga is on-going with the actual content, this arc sure is going to be a long one. There's dozens more, and we only took care of one storyline basically so far... About Senbonzakura, I was surprised at first too, but not so much after I saw him in person. I expected something more like Rukia's, something elegant, calm and easy-going, something Byakuya typical. The whole Samurai in armor, yeah, I'm not super shocked about him being Byakuya's Zanpakuto at all really. I'm trying to think, and I don't think there's any mixed race Zanpakuto/Shinigami contracts. Other than Yamamoto though, there's also three Zanpakuto that have been sealed away. Muramasa (or someone else I forget), said this. in one episode. I wonder where they're seal away though (including Yamamoto). I doubt Kenpachi is sealed away, it wasn't stated in the anime. All we know so far about his situation, is that him and Yachiru just left somewhere. If he was sealed we'd surely know about it and Ikkaku would probably get even more pissed off. The PV is totally confusing now, now Zangetsu is fighting Ichigo, what is going now... I tried looking at Muramasa Zanpakuto, and the hilt (?) is not the same as Kenpachi's, then again his katana is centuries old so... [EDIT] Wow, two weeks and not a single post since I was absent momentarily? Anyways, just to sum up the two episodes, watched them all just now since I couldn't before. Still no sign of Kenpachi, and if Muramasa is Kenpachi's Zanpakuto, he's dead, and by that, that's impossible especially if they won't show it yet. Pretty gutsy for the director to add in Ichigo's full Hollow form before his fight with Ulquiorra. :/ Once again his hollow saves him, but he broke out of the full form which was okay. I understand why Zangetsu betrayed him so easily (which is kind of stupid). I like how his hollow might be the only hope left for Seireitei (for now judging from the PV). But yeah, still interesting, a lot more talking in these two episodes, which I expected would come sooner or later. Now the actions back up again, and it seems it's going to be intense soon. Ugh, so many battles though, and where the heck is Kenpachi!?? And Byakuya?

Lol wow, I am so behind in the anime right now. I was loving the arc, but due to getting busy and such I have fallen behind like 10 episodes or something. Im back where I was last I posted, where Ichigo fights Zangetsu in the next episode! D: ... Anyway, here's a bump for the thread since DA asked meh, rofl ~ |

LOL It's cool. When it comes to spoilers I don't normally mind them too much, haha. Hopefully I can catch up sometime this weekend when I have free time. Been catching up on last weeks anime I missed while internet was out and I was gone :x |

It's cool, you see Wabisuke (Izuru's zanpakuto), but he gets pwned like a second later when Kenpachi comes, rofl. New episode in a few hours.

Wow, you guys are super-behind! I'm already almost done with the Arrancar arc, but as long as you keep up with the Manga, you'll be caught up on the Anime as well. I wonder what its' going to look like in the future? When the Arrancar arc is done. . . Hope you guys catch up soon! Until then, most of the things I'll post will probably be nothing but spoilers for you guys :P    |

I'm already caught up with the manga, dude... There IS a manga thread for this that nobody really keeps active. About the anime, ugh, I'm starting to hate this arc now. It started really cool, but now they're just making it as cliche as ever. The zanpakuto were impossible to defeat, now with sure "will", Renji beats his and eventually Ichigo (help of hollow), now everyone has the upper hand against them like they're just arrancar or something, c'mon now Kubo... And where's Hyorinmaru? He's pretty much confirmed he'd obey his master, who's never betrayed him or treated him badly. Also one last note, way to make Kazeshini look like a completely weakling, Ichigo. Lame. Right now Shippudden is gonna take over with the Itachi/Sasuke fight, and the manga's better right now, too.

there are people who enjoy just watching the anime alone please dont ruin us by saying were slow and we should read the manga or what not. go to the manga thread if your going to boast on how you finished the manga chapters.. i read manga sometimes but its... umm yeah.. no sound, no music and no special effects so i prefer anime. umm the zanpakuto arc filler thing can someone tell me what date it should be over? im watching the naruto shippuden anime while this filler is going on and im very much enjoying it. i was curious about the american bleach that theyre up to the grimjow story already and i had a peek but wow, their voices bring pain to my ears. i definately scorn orihimes voice, and nel sounds way to bad, aww dont even get me started on how they pronounce ichigo. im so sad for the little lion doll how his role went plummeting downwards he doesnt even come out much anymore. i even forgot his name. so sad...  |

Kon's mostly in the shinigami cups at the end of the episodes, but yeah. Ichigo's going to be in shinigami mode double overtime pretty soon once he gets to Karakura Town. Apparently the filler arc ends next year, but yeah, I'm close to dropping it. I dropped the anime momentarily, but caught back up since I just saw it with my roomate while he was watching it, but right now both manga and anime are owning Bleach, so... yeah, considering dropping it, but not yet.

I see. . .sorry what I said before. . . Well anyway, yeah, both Anime and Manga are good. . .I'm really starting to wonder how Kon's doing. . . I watched the American version of Bleach two days ago, where it was Ichigo V.S. Grimmjow, showing what happend in the final battle. . . I'm kinda happy Ichigo defeated Grimmjow, but kinda not because he was my favorite Espada. . .I also thought it had a nice ending, where Ichigo was holding Orihime's hand at the end. . .I thought it was a good way to end the episode though. . . :] Orihime is my favorite Bleach girl, besides Rukia |

*gotta bump* Byakuya's fight with Kouga started out pretty epic. I was right about Senbonzakura being loyal to Byakuya, but the way they revealed it was lame. He [Byakuya] simply shot a kidou across Sen's mask, cracked it, and all of a sudden he came back to his senses? But the fight between current head and former-house hold adobtie was pretty sick, especially the kidou. Kouga used kidou through a weapon that he's not even familiar with, that was kind of... convenient. I'm SOOOO glad I got to see Byakuya's ultimate attack, his shukei is as sick as ever. Seeing the fight go down, I still have a huge doubt in my mind Ichigo can beat Byakuya, totally lame. But yeah the fighting ending how it did and really how it went overall, was kind of poorly created. And Kouga totally picked up some moves from Shikamaru, what was that about? XD So now that Kouga's gone, there's the matter of Muramasa unleashed and the events happening back in Soul Society. I hope this arc ends soon, cause it was a lame arc...

imho its the best filler ive seen in any anime. it slowed down in the middle and probably dragged on a bit but it was good. better than the bounto arc thats for sure. the fight between ichigo and zangetsu was awesome and storyline was decent. i much prefer a mediocre storyline than a bunch of random sucky episodes (ie: naruto). i am like the everybody else though im ready for it to end and get back into the story. i want to see a certain fight already.

The arc totally like flustered into itself. At the beginning of the arc, the Zanpakuto were dominate. There was noway a Shinigami had a chance to win against its partner, but then all of a sudden, the every-so-cliche thing happens, and with will and heart alone, one Shinigami beats his Zanpakuto, then another, then a chain begins. I also think Muramasa is one of the most idiotic designed Zanpakutos to ever exist. His power to control other Zanpakuto by bending their will and opening the light for them. That's like having a Zanpakuto who gives its wielder invulnerability and immortality at the same time. It's hard to compare the Ichigo/Ulquiorra fight towards the Uchiha Brothers fight, both were epic. But let's see how well the anime (Bleach) shows the fight compared to the manga.

shoot all the zanpaktou designs were pretty bad. as with the zanpaktou being dominate at first, its because the shinigami were caught off guard. since a zanpaktou is part of a shinigami's soul, how did they expect for them to fight back? lol i nevered said it was the perfect filler arc but imo its the best one out of the anime ive seen.

253 dragged on a bit but the ending was the best part definitely. And before, I meant Muramasa's abilties to just control and bend the wills of other Zanpakuto. Right now they're just giving him more and more power. For some reason, I felt the episode was poorly created. Two weeks and this is it, too? Lame. Still going to continue with this arc for a little while longer. I'm one of the rare fans of Orihime, but this episode displayed the trait about her I hate the most, and mostly any character similar to her. She's only good for healing wounds, don't friggin' go to the front of the battlefield....

It's cause they totally killed what could've been a decent arc. They're still close to the manga, too, and I haven't seen the latest episode yet, ugh can't expect something awesome soon. Please prove me wrong. [EDIT] Meh, almost quit after half way watching 255. They made it seem like it was a movie ending, with the music and all, but the dialog was so weak, ugh. They pretty much made it obvious there's another filler arc/episode(s) next.

@ DA — About you being an Orihime fan, don't feel too alone; She's by far my favorite female lead in the series, and also in my Ichihime pairing. *~* .. Also, this Arc got soooo dragged on. I still haven't finished, and am somewhere back near the beginning. A friend of mine [ a few, actually ] said the Arc just got way too " blah " and was dragged on. Like you said in a post, they killed what could have been a great Arc [ and possibly what a movie could have been ]. I watched the first ACTUAL episode back on the main story [ not that first episode that was a recap of stuff from awhile back ] and I don't know for sure if I'll keep watching. I'm sure I will, but I guess that filler arc made me like the manga a lot more. I can't wait to see Ichigo do his thing [ You know. I won't spoil it for anyone who doesn't read the manga ] so hopefully they do the fight really well. |
