HELLO !! HELLO !!!!! AGAIN !!!!!!!!!! >o< NYAAAAAAAAAAAAA-HOOO~~~~~~!! I'm back !?........ After a whole long month ...... or two ...... -,- whatever ...... ! Anyway , I'M BACK!!!!!!! I can't comment all of your drawing (for the first time *EVERYONE , APPLAUSE!* >.< , so all I can say is keep improving in your works , GANBATTE ! *I can't believe this is thread number four already , with 22 pages to look at !!! O.O , what happen to the third one ?* To all newbies here , ..... as usual ..... :P WELCOME TO THIS THREAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I'm not new here , honest , you can find me in the older thread (I can't find although :P) , or you can ask Dragonfly (Draco Mulfoy ..... How could I forget about it >.<) or Imppy. Sorry for the long departure , as my new place became really dangerous and I'm having hard time getting to a near , yet FAR !!!! , cybercafe ~.~ , ..... how long was I gone anyway ? Sorry , there ain't any latest pic here as my camera 'dissapeared'(in other meaning , stolen) , during the mass robbery in my place (I'm one of the victim T__________T , but I'm fine now ^^) . So , this pics was taken about a month+ ago , so who knows , as I have completed some of it ^^. Here are a few of them .....  This is what I painted during my free time ('EsCaPiSm' from stress due to overdrawing >_<) . It's my ...... Coffee Cup!? >________< , ..... you must be kidding , right ?  This is one of the work I've shown in the previous thread (the 'oldies' would know it :P) , but it's done a little .(As I said this was taken about a month+ ago , no latest updates yet :P) It is blurry , indicating it's not done yet , a month+ ago of course >â–¼< , but since I can't get the latest 'till I get a SCANNER , I mean a SCANNER (only for the drawing above) , well ...... But I can give you the detail of the latest works in progress : -The drawing above , right now it's 60% done (Set a new record already for the ammount of time taken to finish a drawing ! ^^ *HAPPY*)and in it is : 1. 2 pieces of the work that size , 2 I mean ..... O.O and another one might be in progress , if I have the time. 2. Approx. 20+ characters designed and mostly shaded with extras (e.g : 'smaller' , not important peoples :P , background , structure design , decoration , etc.) -Fine tuning for the drawing is still being made (IT'S HARD !!!!!!! TT________TT) but it's almost done for the dones <-huh? O.O> -More of other paintings , which you know I can't get it here , for now. -That's it. There would be more on my next visit , includes : -Modification of my profile >.< *You'll be suprised* ..... NOT NOW YET :P . -More paintings. -More drawings. -MORE drawings , of course , this is you draw -(Only for those not faint hearted only) , I might begin a constructive critism , like Ayanesa-chan do (she's really busy , I've been told) That's it for now . @Angulus: nice drawing. Can't wait to see the finished work. @Sadoku: I love your coloring. Very stylish and unique. I always love creativity. Keep up the good work. @Rin: it almost look abstract to me. The different eye color make the character look a bit scary. Nicely done. @Imppy: Very cool Photoshoping. I wish I have to time to fuss around with photoshop. @Roq: Nice drawing again. It is solid and defining. It definitely has Roq written all over it. As for my latest work, it is just a sketch for the manga story our Gendounians are working on. It isn't much but it is special for me. I am trying to show the character's compassion toward the small and the weak.  For those who have seen the first design, here it is. I like the kid theme. ^__^   |

Drew this back in February right after finishing the anime Ayashi no Ceres. Yuuhi did not turn out well lol...  another one... sorry the images are so big... they aren't over the 500 kb limit, but they are huge pics... @starpetals: It is not often to see a fully complete drawing here. (including my own work) I think you did a great job. What is the size of the paper you used? It looks really big. I really like your use of shades. Very cool. |

I could never do that .__. @ Without You nice :3 another character ref C: oh that's right, I also made one I tried to follow one character, the one in armor it's not accurate, but I'll try to post it later ^^ btw, I've posted your sketches in our manga gallery. hope you don't mind C: @ Starpetals smooth sketches ^^ although the image is really big even though it's under 500kb I suggest you reduce it :3 try using the html code. btw, regarding the pic, do you smudge the shading? I do that too X3 |

@anbu sadoku great job there! coud looks great! I love erementar gerad too. :) @angelus HUWAAAA!! COFFEE!! You know, my sister and I just love coffee. It's a must every morning. Great job on the painting! I myself reak when it comes to colors T_T You make me wish I still have my coffee with me. :3 @Without You Lovely. Simply beautiful. The texture and style is just so nice on the eyes. @starpetals Great job! You really got the details! And you managed to get the coloring of Sango! Sorry, I'm just weak at coloring so I easily get impressed by colored drawings. :) @mr. mushroom Haha! Love that! Although it's simple, you got the technique down. Nice! Here's a couple of my considerably original characters. Still in sketch (no enhancements whatsoever). I started this manga about 7 years ago (around 5th grade). I kinda got bored with it and lost interest because the plot and most of the characters were some ideas I got from other animes. It kinda sucks when it's not your masterpiece. Anyway, here's the main cast. You'll see some familiar faces (like Sanosuke Sagara and Sailor Venus) because, like I mentioned earlier, I borrowed the ideas. The drawing won't grab you that much though because the scanner can't really get the texture right. Plus, I drew these more than a year ago, and I just scanned these last week! I'm the one with the long skirt (our school uniform :3), holding hands with the girl in the middle (main character). I'm embarrassed to mention their names because I also borrowed some anime names. So they shall remain nameless. :3  It's been an issue with me and my best friend on drawing group pictures. You just can't get them to be exactly proportional with the other characters! Sausages or not. This especially applies to a big group. You'll see some guys there having bigger heads than the others. Sorry, still seeking perfection here.  Here's two of the guys from the earlier pic. You'll notice one guy ressembles my beloved Sanosuke Sagara. I'm glad to say the other guy is my own idea. :3 Oh how I adore bishounen. Don't you just fancy them? :3  |

Wow..... Haven't been here in.... a week? And already the thread explodes!! I just want you to know that I've seen and made a comment (in my mind xD) on every single piece of art in here. There was not one piece that went unnoticed, so SALUTE to the artists of Gendou!! I would also like to say welcome back to Angelus-san! The thread was definitely missing something without you here :( It's great to see that you're (alive) and well. The old thread (number 2) was locked due to unfortunate circumstances, and also passed the 1000 post limit. Same as thread 3. @Midori: When you are drawing group pics, it is very important to start with simple skeleton sketch and always use the size of each head as your measurement stick. A "seven head" body is considered normal human proportion. Once you determine the size of the heads of your characters, you can then measure the full body length using the head. Of course this only work in standin pose. Other more complicated poses requires knowledge of good anatomy. |
