lol, ummm, yeah!! I think it'll be more anticipated than X-Japan's reunion concert, which was huge. I still gotta re-obtain their concert in Paris, but yeah I've seen it like ten times already, but y'know. XD Ugh, I'd buy them if they were made to Region 1!!!!

Hard to believe it's been 20 Years. Since I only got heavy into Japanese music back in around 2002/3, It doesn't seem like it's been that long. I wonder what they'll perform, eh? Perhaps even a new song specifically for the reunion? That would be really awesome, haha. — By the way .. how old is Hyde? |

There's still this year and around half way next year (or so) for another release. Not sure if they're release an album again, but yeah NEXUS4/SHINE and BLESS are not on albums, so it's possible. They will definitely perform READY STEADY!!, MY HEART DRAWS A DREAM, Caress of Venus, SEVENTH HEAVEN (nearly half of KISS). I hope they perform Vivid Colors, flower, maybe Lost Heaven (lol, unlikely), maybe Anata or Niji to end it off. Surprisingly those two songs were not performed in their Tokyo Dome concert. hyde turned 41 earlier this year. I believe they're all in their 40s now, early, peak 40s, yes. Oh, and not sure if I said this before, but why is there NOT a tribute album for them yet!?!?

.. Wow. Hyde doesn't seem that old to me, but wow, he's mroe up there then I gave him credit for. I would like to see Lost Heaven, as it's one of my favorite songs by them. May be the fact I love FMA, but even if I hadn't seen the movie I'm sure I'd still love the song. Also, I didn't know Shine wasn't on an album .. |

Yeah they all don't look old, whatsoever! Shine's not on an actual album, it was the single paired with the NEXUS 4 single album. Surprisingly still to me, it somehow ranked 2nd on Oricon, wonder what took #1 that week. :O

I was never too high on Shine myself. It was a good song, but I thought they had done better songs. That may have just been me though, cause I know people liked it. |

For real Yat, they look pretty young .. e.e; Anyway, a tribute album would be awesome. It'd be interesting to see some other bands perform songs by them. I'd personally love to see READY STEADY done by another group, just to see what it sounds like. |

[@Yat] Not necessarily, The Pillows had a tribute album before their 20th Anniversary concert/tour. The only taste of cover songs from Laruku are when they switch to Punkaruku (P'UNK~EN~CIEL XD), lol. *sigh*

Yeah I can't wait, it's actually earlier than I predicted. I thought they'd reunite later in the year of 2011, but who knew they'd start by the end of the year. You know they're going to do some Christmas/New Year thing, and I can't wait for that. I can't wait for this, I've waited for a long time, obviously since they announced their hiatus, lol. But hyde I think is doing one final tour with VAMPS this year. I'm not sure what everyone else will be doing, but it'll be the first L'Arc~en~Ciel appearance with tetsuya as his stage name. I can't wait, I hope they release a new single before than.

They are gonna start at the end of the year, so i guess there'll be a few more lives next year and stuffs. I am probably hoping there will be a new single early next year o: |

It's already October, and it was said that they were going to release one new single before their comeback concert. Hopefully it's soon.

Anyone hear them at JACK IN THE BOX this year? I can barely find stuff on them, but Ken's solo set was pretty awesome! Laruku apparently sang Ready, Steady Go!! live but haven't seen it yet.

2011 marks the 20th anniversary of rock band L’Arc-en-Ciel, and to mark the special occasion, the group delivered three special announcements over the weekend. Over the year, L’Arc-en-Ciel plans to release 3 best albums, a new DVD box, and perform another special anniversary concert in May. Their three ‘best-of’ albums – “TWENITY 1991-1996“, “TWENITY 1997-1999“, and “TWENITY 2000-2010†– will be released on February 16th, and contain all their hit songs since the group’s debut back in 1991. Fans who wish to buy all three albums can wait for a special “TWENITY BOX†that will be available on March 9th. The box will also contain a special DVD. Another DVD box called “FIVE LIVE ARCHIVES 2†will be released at the end of March, and continues from where their 15th anniversary DVD had left off. The box contains a total of five discs, each featuring five concerts, including their 1999 Osaka open air tour “1999 GRAND CROSS TOUR†and their LIQUIDROOM (Tokyo) performance from the 2005 arena tour, “AWAKE TOUR 2005″. Furthermore, the group plans to hold two anniversary live concerts at the Tokyo Stadium on May 28th and 29th. It’ll their first time performing at this venue.
