@Briama
I was waiting for mamoru's input on this one.

I think I got the message.

care of romaji.org and a some help from animelab dictionary.

何故。。何故僕だけこの不幸を感じていた。下らないかもしれません。
naze .. naze boku dake kono fukou wo kanji teita. kudara nai kamo shiremasen.
is it really "why am I the only one feeling this misfortune. I don't think its useless."
I'm not so sure about "shiremasen" but I think its a negative. so its denying "kudara nai".

maybe
naze .. naze kono fukou wo kanji teita dake.
to make it "why am I the feeling this misfortune".

I will try to bring this to a few friends and try to learn more about it.

Just got a book too and it is teaching great stuff.

I'm thinking I should put in more effort on chinese so that I can take Japanese as a 3rd language. Kanji words are pretty similar to chinese characters anyway.

@Azure
indeed they use almost the same kanji.
but their pronunciations are more often different, and the usage are not always the same in Japaneses.
any ways I think they have almost the same meaning in both languages. I think that may come in handy later on.

i have a confusion for some parts
so,if i said 'this is a tree'
i would write

’これは木です’

but what about this?

’これらは木です’?

is it plural in form and mean something like
'these are trees o.o?'

and one more thing o.o
i am confused of 'これ’ and ’この’

do you have any idea when i should use これ or この?
hmm there should be other like それ、あれ、その、あの。。

but i am confused of ’れ’and ’の’

know when to use them? :D

help needed,thank you :D

これらは木です

yeah, it is correct.

Kore = This
Kono = This

Kore --> Kore wa dare no hon desu ka/ Kore wa nan desu ka/ kore kara dou surun?

Kono --> Kono kimochi wo kanjite iru/ kono mono wa......

kore is mostly use to point at a specific object and to ask for an opinion. Kono is use to describe an object or coupled with an action.

I thought there are no plural forms in Japanese. its just the same weather plural or singular.

well except "tachi". thats all I know that makes a noun plural.

also
kore - points to the object near you.
sore - points to the object near the person you are talking to.
are - points to the object far away.

found this site a few days ago link

really interesting site. ^_^

I'm currently studying Japanese, too.

And I'm into the slang/informal type. Because Japanese slang is what Japanese people use nowadays...

It doesn't need to be formal when speaking Japanese especially when speaking tp a person with the same age. :D

Please note that Japanese doesn't like if stranger act so friendly with them. That's why we still need to learn the formal one in case you meet Japanese F2F.

Well, maybe you can use slang one if it's in interweb though you are stranger to 'em.
