I said this in another thread, but compared to Naruto, Bleach shows more an episode than Naruto does. Then again, the content wise for both series is entirely different as Naruo has WAY more content than Bleach (as of now), then again Aizen's full motives aren't really fully revealed yet, so maybe the manga will continue on for a lot longer. I agree, fillers every now and then aren't so bad as long as they are entertaining, but too often just kills the aura of the anime itself and thenceforth, isn't good. I enjoyed the Bounto Arc, but more of the later half because the action picked up. Compared to the Arc with Lurichiyo, that was kind of straining a lot... Random episodes on purpose? Seems sloppy to me. I'm sure other fans were like "wtf", like me, too. Not only does it happen with Bleach, there are other numerous titles out there who have experienced it. Actually if you want to group it entirely, a lot of anime get a similar fate with the anime version being made slightly too early. Then rarely, some series are better at planning and thus do a better job it it. As long as Bleach doesn't lag on and actually has a reasonable ending with Aizen, it'll be okay. Then again, I always have some feeling that Aizen will escape, regroup, and attack at a later time (thus stretching Bleach). ------- |

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Villian after Aizen, even though he is made out to be a massivly overpowered villian that will take all of Soul Society to take down. I just have the feeling if Aizen goes down, a new villian will show up with Tite Kubo in the background going; " HAHAHA, TRICKED YOU AGAIN! " Like how he did with uh... Well, I don't want to spoil it, but Im sure you know a few of the sudden developments that happened during the Ichigo v. Ulq fight, right after the fight, and recently in the manga -- just stuff you never saw coming and seem like Tite Kubo pulled them outta his... You know. But we'll see. I think Bleach is too much a gold mine for Tite to end it after this Arc. Most likely it will keep going, even though it feels like nothing is left to fight against and whatnot. |

Ugh, I liked that fight, but the way it ended is so cliche, I hated it, and it's unfair even though Ulquiorra is a bad guy. Ichigo is trapped in Hueco Mundo, there's no way he'll fight Aizen (let alone stand a chance). The latest chapter? The Vizards you mean? The latest chapter is just them pwning, lol. If you want to continue with this convo, bring it over to the spoiler Manga thread. :D The rest I had to say I erased cause it's all spoilers. ------- |

Bleach is awesome! The Vizards and Arrancars are too! My favorite arc right now. . . . I would have to say two favorite arcs are The first Soul Socitey arc and the Espada,Arrancar, and Vizard arc. I will countinue to watch and read Bleach until the very end! ^^ |

Haha, it is indeed awesome! Feel free to talk anything about the ANIME here, so be sure not to spoil anything, hehehe. I'm guessing you keep up with the manga? If so, Hit up the Bleach Manga thread. There, you can spoiler like crazy because that's what it's there for! By the way; Is Fade to Black getting released stateside this fall? I need to pick it up if so ~ But did they ever release DiamondDust Rebellion state side..? |

Are you referring to a DVD release? And Fade to Black will be subbed/released by DB in the Fall (unless something interrupts this schedule). ------- |

Yeah, I'm talking DVD. Like the official Funimation release. Since you meant DB though, I guess it means the real release won't be for awhile. I'm still hoping DDR is officially dubbed and released soon -- It'd be nice to see Toshiro's VA with such a big role. However, it probably won't come out until the anime gets farther on adult swim, since DDR takes place later. |

Well, it's been two already and DB has subbed/released them all at the same time a year later after the film airs in Japan. According to Wiki, it's supposed to be released (in the US) in September, so there you go. Where does the movie take place in the manga? I know it's a long way before where the current spot where the dub is now. When I saw the dub on TV, I was surprised to see how far they were already. I know the last thing I saw a while before that was the Bounts, but wow I guess they just stuck with it. They haven't made a special AS Saturday yet, where they'd show it. Remember AS has done similar acts in the past with big anime movies (InuYasha movies, I think the GITS movie, Cowbow Bebop, etc.). Though the past two or so years, they haven't done that anymore, and that kind of sucks. One big expectation was them showing the FMA movie on TV (which would've been SOO AWESOME!). Though I already own it and saw it like five times, it's still awesome to see it on TV (especially the OP/ED themes ^_~`). Back onto Bleach, if we follow DB after the first two films, it'll release in the first week of October/November. I forget which month it was, lol, or maybe September. I know it's in the first week anyways, but no worries, it'll come soon. Sidenote this but since I had my computer cleaned out a while ago, I lost both films. Gotta remember if I have time this week, maybe I'll re-dL them, especially DDR. I lost all the Naruto movies, too, but Bonds I have since it came out which was awesome, lost the first Shippuuden movie which was nice as well, but yeah, only a few out of a ton of other loses. ------- |

I'm pretty sure DDR aired their Previews and such in the modified openings/endings they do when Bleach movies get released around episode 140. I would need to check, but I'm almost positive that was when they aired them. I think the Dub is around 120? If not farther. And Yeah, ever since they go rid of weekly airing anime, they haven't devoted much at all to showing movies or specials of any kind. They sorda kicked anime in the gutter. Makes me want to win that Burger King " have it your way " contest, where the winner picks the Saturday Night Lineup. Anime movies anyone? Hmm? As far as movies on my computer, I have The 1st Bleach movie both in Dub and DB Subs, the FMA Movie Dubbed, DDR DB Subbed, and the .Hack GU Trilogy Movie Subbed. Again, I lost interest in the Naruto Anime due to fillers, and thus, I don't watch any of the movies. I do want to make a point to see Bonds, though. Sasuke FTW. |

Yeah, I know when the teasers were first shown, but where does it all take place in the manga? The movies, to me, thus far, have been irrelevant from the main storyline, as least Memories of Nobody was. The third was officially confirmed to have content later added in the manga, which only reads that Bleach will extend. No idea about DDR, if not just another awesome, yet not-relating storyline movie from Bleach. The dubs a bit further than that. I think last time I saw, Ishida met his father to regain his powers. AS is an American running network, but I hate nearly every show they air except The Boondocks and Family Guy. They officially made their Saturdays an anime line-up, yet for some reason added in like Star Wars or old, already aired anime. It used to have been all anime, literally, for the entire first run (then the re-run of the whole line-up). AS is NOTHING like it used to be, having the best line-ups ever. Some of them were the uncensored YYH, Detective Conan, Rurouni Kenshin, etc. Now the titles are mostly all re-runs, only Bleach is the only new thing every week, but I don't really favor the dub anyways, but excluding that title out, yeah nothing else is so exciting. That Moribito anime is another new one every week, I've seen a couple episodes of it, but really if I'm downstairs watching TV when it's about to go on, I only like the OP (Shine from Laruku ^_~`). If you have Comcast, they have a few new titles they added (which AREN'T free, WTF!?). They should totally air the Claymore dub on AS. I'm curious to see how that goes. They removed ANN from Comcat, too, which I'm confused about... it just, disappeared. :/ And wow, a contest? Hmm, doubt an anime-craved fan will really be into it. If not that, a whole line-up of Family Guy is not bad, but knowing fans of AS, it might be a line-up or old shows or ones I might not even like at all. People say they lost internet in Naruto cause of the fillers. If you mean those 80+ fillers before Shippuuden even began, well those are long over. There's probably a few later, too, I know there are in fact, but I know they weren't like the older ones. And for sure it's been a long time since a filler was last aired. If you're not reading the manga, the anime is already moving into a more interesting spot, just that it's taking forever. Bonds was really awesome. I enjoyed it a lot, and hands down is the best Naruto movie to date. If you want to see it, and have a curiosity for it, I recommend seeing it, and if you want to see Sasuke owning, yeah, definitely check it out for sure. You can dig around in the Naruto thread, back a few pages or so, and find screens I posted. It's pretty awesome. ------- |

Anime on AS use to be a big thing. On the weekdays, half of their time slots were anime while on Saturday's it was ALL anime. The showed movies, anime daily ... It was good stuff, until they claimed anime ratings were down -- probably because they didn't have any new anime, which they should have known. Speaking of old shows like YYH, Conan, Kenshin -- They should air some of those anime if they are gonna show old reruns. Reason being they ALWAYS repeat the same shows when they do reruns; Cowboy Bebop, Death Note, Big O, FLCL, etc. I won't say Inuyasha, since that has had the same time slot for years and is also the longest non-stop airing show on Adult Swim. Oh, and they have the BK contest each year. Had it for the past 5 Years or so. Not sure if you remember, but like 2/3 years ago they showed all 6 episodes of FLCL one saturday and like the Cowboy Bebop movie I think. That was the only time I can remember an anime fan winning the contest, because that was his Lineup. And with Naruto, it's not so much just the insane amount of fillers before Shippuuden, but also how you've said there is very little content in each episode -- obviously in order to keep the space between Manga and Anime. That's just abit overkill in my book, when you still have fillers off and on and yet each episode is already filled with next to nothing u.u; |
Re: New Bleach thread (anime)

yeah im kinda tired of these fillers also maybe because it was too close to the manga?

Yeah -- Any anime that does up fillers normally means it's getting too close to the manga. Only other times They use filler is in anime made from shorter manga, and they do it to give the series more episodes and such. At least this batch of Fillers looks promising. |

Talk about this then my comments on 229... Anyways, I heard that they were on the verge of being canceled or something? Anyways, both reasons could be logical reasons, but yeah they certainly changed since then, a LOT! One reason they took Conan off, let alone not having enough anime to air, but Conan never had its dubbed fully finished, and I'm not even sure if that's still the same now. Rurouni Kenshin finished on CN, I don't think it was Adult Swim, I forget though I'm pretty sure. Detective Conan never finished, and YYH I don't even remember if that finished airing. It'd be nice to see the original dub, but sometimes the new dub (or re-dub) is really lame since they censored it. Not to diss on InuYasha, but it's the longest running show on AS ever is because no other show exceed 50+ episodes. If Bleach keeps airing, it'll beat InuYasha, but yeah there's really no contest there. The other show they're showing is Code Geass R2, but they keep taking it off one week and adding it in another week. Weird. Oh yeah, you're right, I do remember that year. What was it, three or four years ago? I remember that, because I saw that night, and yeah the Cowbow Bebop movie was the 5H17. You're right (from what I said, lol), yeah, it drags on. It's just slow, but it's going to get so good. It's hard to NOT read the manga like I did, but yeah I only wish the anime had MORE pages or the anime went slightly faster. I think it's slow because they learned to stay away from the manga. Bleach, sooner or later, will probably do the same but stay a bit more consistent and still be better. They have a good production team with episode content, so I'm sure nothing will change that much. Okay, not much to talk about 229 if you saw it already or not. The new "Unknown Tales" Arc will begin next week and I can't wait. 229 was actually a really good episode, if you're a big fan of Ikkaku LIKE ME!! His seiyu has always been so awesome, and there were just too many special moments to pick out. These fillers I don't mind every now and then, if you're going to give me a filler, but at least put in some action, which it seems they're going to do so these comedic fillers won't air any time soon anymore. ------- |

Yeah, rumors of cancelation + ratings being down will make you act to make alot of changes, no matter how rash and whatnot. Once they found something that worked ( All Stupid-Comedy ), they stuck with it and just keep adding more mindless shows that I don't understand how anyone can actually like. Squidbillies? Tim and Eric Awesome Show? I don't even think If I took a blow to the head that I would be interested in those shows. Family Guy and Boondocks? Those are good -- Not mindless like others. As for YYH, It finished it's run in those early anime timeslots Cn use to have on Saturday mornings. The ones that came after AS and had shows like .Hack//Roots and YYH to finish their runs. Kenshin did finish on CN, but I think it aired on AS at one time. - And I think Conan's Dub was finished, but the anime stopped airing on Adult Swim around episode 60 or something. And sadly, I can't watch the new Bleach or any other anime right now because of me being on Dial-Up. It's a sad, sad week so far. Not only am I missing Bleach and 07-Ghost, but I can't catch up on Pandora Hearts that I fell behind in and didn't catch up on since my highspeed had come back. So very sad, Uuuuuuugh =.=; |

Some shows were really lame. Like Some playhouse show where some dude just makes weird noises to his house? I remember Peter bought a playhouse in an episode of Family Guy, THAT was funny. XD AS is a US-based show though, and where else would these shows come up (on basic cable). Animax is the only cable channel I know that only shows anime (but mostly lame dubs from what I heard). There's actually a few other channels, but it's not a regular thing (Sci-Fi showed Gundam OO, lol). CN back then had A TON of anime on, like it was most of the line-up, especially the original Toonami. Rurouni Kenshin was a notable title, but don't forget another notable one. Tenchi! I think they showed three seasons of it, and wow I loved it! <333 Kenshin was probably on AS in the early run, but didn't last long. Detective Conan was removed because it was canceled unfortunately. US, to this day, has not finished dubbing it yet. They're only up to episode 130, while the anime still airs in Japan. What's wrong with your internet? Episode 229 was good. Nothing recommended to dL though since it was really irrelevant, except that Ikkaku probably developed feelings for Mizuho. If you want to see Ikkaku ownage and funny~ness, yeah I'd recommend dLing it, lol. And Keigo flipping out is always a nostalgic feeling, lol. ------- |

Oh man, Original Toonami was the -best-, hands down. They, in their run, had Gundam Series, Kenshin, YYH, Dragon Ball, Dragon Ball Z, .Hack, Tenchi Muyo ( All 3 Seasons ), and other awesome anime I can't remember! They were what I watched every single day after school, and was something I couldnt wait for. Toonami went downhill when they decided to move to Saturday Evenings, aiming their weekly afternoon block at Younger Viewers. Saturday night then became anime/action cartoon central, with both All-anime Toonami and then All-anime Adult Swim. Paradise for the anime lover. However, soon Toonami started aiming younger and younger, and eventually dissolved itself and became something else. Around this time, Adult Swim began to show less new anime and then began the process of less and less support for Anime. Then it was pulled from the weeknights, and shortly after, they butchered saturday nights. And wow -- I thought Conan not only finished in Japan but also was finished dubbing. I jsut thought they stopped showing it. u.u; And as for my internet, I fianlly got my highspeed back like 5 days ago and I got back on Gendou -- but one day later, Storm knocks it out. Now I'm on dial-up until my highspeed gets back ;_; ... |

Yeah, that's where I saw the Great Gundam Wing, AND Endless Waltz. ;P Toonami failed when they killed like, the first two Toms. Each Tom had their line-up, so yeah, the first two were, if anything else, all anime-Toms. Can't blame 'em, the network shut out the anime for the retarded shows. And yeah, US for some reason, never finished it's dub. I'm watching the episodes on Comcast right now. ;P And yeah, Conan's not the only one from the 90s still airing, there's a whole bunch of classics. Not only Conan, but I think with Shin-chan, too, who was re-dubbed I think more than three times. There's no way that finished it's dub, but I liked Shin-chan (the dub was similar to the original). What type of connection do you run? Did your modem just get shot or something? ------- |

Endless Waltz ... Ahhh, One of the all-time Great anime movies. Back in the day with the Tom's and all, they had some cool little like Tom-Stories they did when they made like the second one. Like, that alien thing that ended up beating the first Tom? Then the second one was awakened or something, and went to town ~ If I remember correctly >_>; And I should check that out with Conan. Hopefully sites I use to watch anime have the dubs for it. I know they have Subs for it. As for Shin-Chan, that was one of the few "stupid-comedy" shows, yet alone anime, that I actually watched and somewhat enjoyed. Also, GOOD NEWS, My internet came back up today and is highspeed once again; Even withstood the test of tests when a storm came through. It's a neighborhood wireless setup throughout that rarely anyone uses besides me, because it's better for most people to have their own wireless stuff. Im close to it though, so I can use it ~ Now to catch up on Bleach and 07-Ghost -- Oh, and Pandora Hearts *~* |

I never even tuned in long enough to find out how they killed it, if they ever did. Now they have like a whole team of those machines, with the new Tom. The original is still the best, but the other members on board are really lame. You can tell. The original Tom with like that one computer Ai thing, was better... Shin-chan is great and is one of Japan's more notable classics. It doesn't have a storyline, and it helped inspire other studios to make anime without plots; anime that just following everyday people and their everyday lives, but with comedy. I saw the dub on AS of course, but I used to have one of the movies (subbed). It was actually incredibly awesome, and like I said before, the voices sound so similar to each other (dub and original). Good to hear your internet's back. I finished re-watching the second movie, and to bring over what we're talking about in the manga thread, here, I'll add my opinion on the new spirit thing. When I was re-watching DDR, I noticed that when Hitsugaya first found Hyorinmaru, it was in another world. Then seeing Zangetsu again, and it just reminded me, he's also in another world, a different world (with the tall never ending buildings). So by this, it's possible to say each Zanpakuto, has their own world and where they came from, possible. The whole Zanpakuto thing, their spirits are probably some ancient story or something that I can't find on Wiki. They're probably ancient beasts or animals that lived in a sacred world, thousands of years ago or so. ------- |
