as for the naruto-minato relationship thinger, i think they're father and son. IF minato and naruto were brothers: they would be half-brothers because they don't have the same family name (namikaze vs. uzumaki). this means that they're probably related through their mother, kushina uzumaki. but that contradicts the fact that they look the same. kushina -their "common ancestor," let's say- is said to have red hair, and only naruto seems to have inherited her demeanor and fighting style. yeah, that seems confusing... anyway, jiraiya said that where he considers minato to be his son, he sees naruto as his grandson. there, that about sums it up.  |

don't let this thread die!!!! i'm posting in this thread because of the recent events in naruto manga.... why do i have a bad feeling that jiraiya's gonna die in the hands of pain? from the fight so far, pain uses lots of summons, 'different' summons of different animals. he hasn't even use Rinnegan yet... Jiraiya, don't let yourself die! >_< |

Well... That pain sure knows how to use kuchiyose... and yeah, i too feel that jiraiya will lose no matter what. Although i'm not sure if he would die or not. But it's actually kinda depressing if he dies, even more than sandaime... Maybe i love this character that much already. And if he dies, tsunade might go berserk, and that's not good >.< At least if he dies, he should return to konoha and give any information he had collected before first, then die dramatically in front of everyone... |

i'm fine with jiraiya losing, just don't kill his character yet... jiraiya really is helpful. if he dies soon, we will run out of strong good guys. well, that's just one of the reasons why i don't want to see jiraiya die... the main reason actually, just like what you have pointed out, is because i love this character that much. T_T |

Jiraiya's such a cool, supportive, perverted old man TT_TT He can't die! It would be like if Gai-sensei died... I would totally bawl my eyes out if he did. Why must all the really strong good guys be perverted? (coughSandaimecough) And my friend speculated about what Pein's bloodline was all about. Mebbe it was like switching bodies or something, because his old spiky hair really doesn't look like his current do. |

The battle is intensifying! Things are just beginning though.... I think there's more to Rinnegan than what was shown in the latest chapter. Jiraiya really should be more cautious. |

Jiraiya is most definitely going to die imo, i've been thinking for quite some time that he'd get killed by Pain. Simply put, Jiraiya really has no more use to the plot of the series, besides randomly popping in with some intelligence ever few dozen chapters, so he has to die in order to demonstrate Pain's God-like strength and solidify his ultimate villain position, so then in the end Naruto can kill him (as we know he can) with the rasengan shuriken. Thusly a much beloved, but now more or less dried up character can be killed to maximise emotional impact, and the main character's ultimate growth and development can be demonstrated  |

Wooow chapter 381 is awesome... We have finally seen the true worth of Jiraiya till the very end. He died a hero's death. And Kushina appears :) |

Jiraiya was killed by Pain, that is. Its rather relieving to hear that Naruto is the Destined Child instead of Nagato. He deserved it.

Jiraija is going to die. Not by Pain's hands, but Tsunade's. I explain: He's gonna escape after defeating 6 pain's body and the real Nagato's body appears. Then Tsunade will heal him and as she said before (to shizune), she'll date him. Hearing that, an overentusiasted Jiraya will grab one of her boobs and she will kill him with a Chakra-bitch-slap. ... ... ok, that was a joke. Really. I think he will scape and will die in Tsdunade's arms. making her remeber how she can't help anyone who is dying before her eyes (has her brother and boyfriend) and making her even more frightened to blood. Poor Tsunade. And... going back to the first post, I don't think Sasuke is going to live to come back to Sakura. I think he doesn't deserve her. Even if he survives, after defeating Itachi, what is he gonna do? return to Konoha saying: "ok, i'm back. everything can go back to as it was before. Let's resurrect my clan"?. He's a missing-nin after all. Althogh I think Sakura should show him her improvement before saying in his face: "Too late Sasuke-kun, I'm dating Lee now." BECAUSE... Naruto will end with Hinata. Naruhina for ever!!! :3 |

damn, i was too casted from naruto ever since that ***pid sasuke joined forces w/ orochi, and now, im hearing these rumors that he wants to give his body to orochi??! is he out of his mind? Oh i forgot, he is!! Damn... i dont hate or like him before and now, but his pissing me beyond my control.. im at my limit, i mean, i dont want friends becomes enemy anyway that's why im pissed at him!! no offend to the sasuke fans out there, i dont really give a damn about his problems but atleast, if he wants to get stronger then he can if he put his mind to it, not just joining that old snake goof.. but wth is this now, JIRAIYA IS WHAT?????????? If you know that Jiraiya is dead, then you'll know that Sasuke doesn't give his body to that weirdo. Kabuto is the one who's lost his mind. Crazy fool... I don't like the pairing NaruSaku but I think they'll end together too. They are the craziest, loudests, main characters there. Very similar in some ways. But don't think Hinata won't do a thing about it. She will tell him she love him... eventualy. :3 |

No! Jiraya is DEAD.. (sob) I liked him (he was real fun!).. SPOILERS AHEAD: Naruto looks so cool when he shot out from the water when fighting Tobi, so determine! Cool! Sasuke and Itachi went all Tekkan 5 on each other -gasp!- Don't die!!! Do u all think Itachi is really dead or is it another genjutsu?? Back to the point, SasuSaku 4eva! (But I really hope she smacks him first for all he put her through. Sasuke fans don't be offended, I'm one too) I like HinaNaru better than NaruSaku, they dun match!!! >.<

I'm sure it's a genjutsu. I mean, that's one of the so long wanted fight of the series. How can it end so soon? Ero-sennin was also one of my faves char too. ;__; And I really hope Sakura don't just smacks Sasuke, but punch him with all her chakra for being an asshole and letting her at the mercy of perverted Naruto. Mwahahahaha. I'm sure he'll end with Hinata. It's what she needs to wake up of her "hello kitty" personality. I mean, Noone of you have never wanted to grab Hinata from the shoulders and shake her? Telling her something like: "Come on!!!! Do something!!!! Get out of your flower-power world!!!" Well, I guess i wouldn't dare to do that, she's so damn cute!!! NYA!!! :3 |
