Yea,new age prevention technology doesn't pick up on that stuff,however it finds b lood to be offensive. What if you're lecturing someone about b lood and you can't type it. Not very practical at all. |

Locking useless thread is a good idea, the best idea I can think of is how many replies are made in each thread daily, or weekly, or something like that. Clothing store? Ya, that's a bit rediculous. However, there seem to be times where the whole thing just goes dead, I don't know how we should deal with that... I got another idea, we could petition Gendou here on this thread to lock unpopular threads and then he could decide to lock it or not.  |

Dont you mean delete,not lock,because ppl aren't posting on them anyways. Instead of average post per day on the thread,it should be something a little more forgiving,like 10 days without a post and its gone. That way if we have a dry spell on a thread that we would like to continue,then we can wait 10 days for it to pick up. |

| Yeah Kotuso's plan sounds good, it gives some freedom to threads like "Warring Nations" which has seemed to run a wee bit dry as late... |

That was what was in my mind during the posts,seeing how SkyAlchemist has been gone for four days... I'M STARVING NOW!!! I do think more than 10 days though,that way Gendou could stay less busy which=less stress,and according to English Math that would be... Time - work=free time.......Free time > busy time=happy! |

Ok... This is just getting f'in rediculous. We have 69 threads on here now! Sixty f'in nine... There is noone who can tell me they go to every one of those threads. I think that those threads that arent being used should be deleted... |

I still agree. Some threads haven't benn viewed in months let alone had anyone post in them. All of the treads deserve a chance but the dead ones have to go... |

Dido, but I still think we decide which ones should go and then recomend it to Gendou. One idea, the regulars here could form a committee. We'd cast votes on which thread should go and then ask Gendou to lock or delete it. That's my idea. |

Don´t you guys think that Gendou already knows. He has to be monitering all the threads or at least a mod would. If we tell people not to make useless threads, that would help also.     |

True, but how would you know if you're going to post a dead end thread, I mean I did it, I certainly didn't mean to post a dead-end thread. We could tell people not to post variations of dead end threads. And if Gendou or the mods are monitoring this, then why haven't they deleted any of the dead end posts. I think they're only around when a rule is broken. |

Yo be honest, I don't think the admins have the time to monitor Gendou City as tightly as the others. We do get away with a ceratin degree of murder here... Really, this was the last board to be made and had the greatest growth in number of posts. Think about it. They almost need an admin to run Gendou itself... Or like Critic said, start some sort of committee to descide... |

Okay, when I made my comment about making useless threads, I meant repeat or similar or unnecesary threads. We have a bar, so it would be pointless if someone made a cafe, right? We have our hospital, so there's no need to create something similar. Somebody came up with the idea of the Gendou Springs, but another person made the covered swimming pools thread. To my opinion, there was no need. (Can anybody see where I'm going with this?) I think the commitee idea is great. All the members could vote on which threads should be deleted and then send the list to Gendou. |
