it's mean, the title is strange.. like bleach, bleach is from bleaching. but in bleach anime, we can found connection between it. bleach is all about shinigami or spiritual power, not bleaching (u can find bleaching in a salon) right? by the way, i never mind about what the title is if the anime is good to watch..

Ten words: "Maeterlinck no Aoi no Tori: Tyltyl Mytyl no Bouken Ryokou" What the hell was that? XDD Now I really want to see that anime. I hope it's good... There was also one named, "Combustible Campus Guardress." XDD Names for anime are hilarious sometimes.

"Iriya no Sora, UFO no natsu", a great love-story anime that lasted only 6 episodes. An OVA direct from a jap novel "Iriya of the Summer, UFO of the Sky". A boy, Asaba, went to school late one night to use the pool. It was 4am in the morning, and then was when he met his love for the 1st time. Her name was Iriya Kana. She was a secret UFO pilot for the nearby army base although she was only 15 years old. She was trained from birth to pilot Earth's most lethal weapon and was Earth's only hope of winning the war against the alien race. Love developed and they became close love birds. That was until Iriya was ordered on a final mission to combat against the aliens. They were seperated, but they both understood each other. Although they thought it was unfair for Iriya to do the 'dirty' job for the sake of human kind, Iriya knew it was her job and duty to defend Earth. She had all the confidence and determination to win the battle, and that was "Asaba is on Earth, that's why i must defend it". Story ended with Asaba carrying on with his high school life, and awaiting the return of Iriya. No one knew whether Iriya made it or not, because her identity was after all a national top secret. Very well done...i was so touched that i cried. yes, i cried...

Ok, for the person who replied that the title of Bleach had no connection to the story: It is simply because the hero of the story, Ichigo, bleaches his hair and has kept bleached it from a young age. The title refers to his hair, and all the events that stem from his bleached hair- like getting into fights, meeting Chad (Yasutora)...meeting Rukia, meeting Ishida...etc. by Liang Liang on 10:46:09 am 08/31/05 Sailormoon. i mean like,"Does those girls look like they can ever sail???". It is similar to the sailor-suit uniforms they already wear to and from school (Japan is big on Sailor-suit uniforms at school). The anime with the strange title is probably "Fruit's Basket". Unless someone can explain that title to me, I think that it has nothing to do with fruits or baskets. |

Replying to the Fruits Basket comments here is why its name Fruits Basket, I think. Firstly If u watch the anime/read the manga - u would know why When Tohru was little, she used to play a game with her friends called Fruits Basket! and she was always the onigiri.. (not a fruit) etc.. yeah Anime with a weird name: FLCL, Bleach(im obsessed with it =P though).. |

Fruits Basket is a game wherein you will pretend to be/ name yourself as a fruit. Her playmate said to Tohru : you are a pichi-pichi [that is not a fruit of course]. She felt unwanted/rejected then. But when she met the Sohmas, well that changed. She feels she really belong, she said that to Yuki herself. Someone said : Marmalade Boy Marmalade Boy is a perfume given by Yuu's mom to Miki. Anyone here who can tell me why BUBBLEGUM CRISIS was titled as such?    |

Ano ne Ayeca-san, Miki once said that Yuu's character is like a bottle of Marmalade jam. The taste is like bitter & sweet. I dunno whether becoz of this they named the series after the bottle of jam?

Replying for someone who said Sailor Moon: Of course it should be called Sailor Moon, it cannot be Sailor Sun! The anime series had told us that Tsukino Usagi is the PRINCESS of MOON KINGDOM. That's why she's called Sailor Moon when she was reborn in Earth. This goes the same as Sailor Jupiter, Venus etc... They're all the PRINCESS of the PLANET.  |
