Yeah, VS is fun when there's like 4 on 4, and you're on a good team. I was just playing a bit a while ago when I got home and my VS team was kind of bad. Not to brag myself, I'm not master at this game either, though I play it for the purpose of having fun and laughing. Here's a story. I remember one time I was playing a Campaign with these two dudes, and they were really cool. We did one full campaign together and it was fun so we stuck around and played another together since we had a good chemistry. Then since there was only one computer ai controlled character left, this one d00d came in and boy was he a jerk. He killed all the zombies first, which wasn't too bad but he did a lot of intentional friendly fire when our health was really low, and he had a headset so we heard him talk and he was just being disrespectful and he bragged about everything. He's one of those cocky players who have like, no life basically... So we three decided to take him out and it was like, perfect. Like, you couldn't ask for a more perfect back up. A HUGE horde came on one level then to make it worst some Boomer splatted on him making it worst, and since he was taking out all the Zombies out himself he was always by himself, but I remember we were on some building and we saw it all happen, just standing there doing nothing. Then I remember a Tank came and pounced him and while he was dying we threw Molotovs on him, or I did anyways. He was cursing so loud but we were all laughing our buts off, or my two buddies were since I don't have a headset, but I had the time in the world to laugh and command a laugh. XD! He came back on one level and when he was incapacitated I threw a Pipebomb at his face.

LOLOL DA. hahahaha. GOOD ONE. XD I started this a while back. I still cant get used to the VS mode and stuffs, but i pretty much like playing Campaign with friends. XD (i play l4d thru garena. ><)   |

I have a standard procedure against Hordes. If someone manages to get barfed by the Boomer or if the AI decides to spawn a Horde, we take our positions and avoid getting separated. We usually back up in a corner and have one (usually me) sit down, push them off and shoot (Push/Shoot/Push/Shoot or just Push/Push/Push/Push) while the other 3 are shooting at them. This works better with the shotgun. The only bad thing that could happen is that if a Smoker manages to get one of you and pull you away from the group. Or a Hunter suddenly pounces and mounts on one of the survivors before anyone could gather. Hunters could easily be shoved off. But it seems other people don't really know this and just shoot it while it's mounted therefore hitting both the survivor and the hunter.  Kneel Before the Great and Benevolent Cow! |

Campaign with friends is awesome, especially with people who are similar to you and whatnot. I like the teamwork and having fun at the same time, but I hate when I'm with a bad team, especially during VS. I handle hordes pretty well, or I go like, berserk mode especially if there's a large one. Usually though, I try to get into some corner or some safe area, and try to scan out where they're headed from, or if you're on some place where they need to climb, it makes it much easier and you can easily be a bit far apart and handle the horde pretty well. With tanks, it's the most fun when there's an open area. I hate small areas, especially during hallways and one of the worst ones, staircases. When Hunters are on one of my teamates, I aim for the head. I never see anything on shooting the other person, or I never notice health going down. Same with smokers, too, and since I usually have the auto shotty, one headshot to the Smoker and it'll explode easily, though with Smokers, they're not too bad and usually appear what in front of us or we notice it quickly before it uses it's tongue. I'm hoping to find more info on the new update for L4D. Curious about the survivor mode.

from what i hear, survivor mode is gonna be ridiculously nice, ur just going through all campaignes in one shot, no choosing levels ur playing stratght through them, & versus is getting the other 2 campaignes dead air & death toll & also 2 new campaignes for the story mode. & also there's a new weapon: the weapon is a flamethrower (it's a hint but it's confirmed)

Sometime during Springs of this year, so it'll be real soon. :P Two new campaigns? That's definitely good news! Anyone know if they'll have new achievements and such to unlock as well? Using the flamethrower will be beast, but it might be some special weapon that you'll have to find (like molotovs, pipe bombs), but a bit harder perhaps. I can imagine the reload system or something, so it might be limited if it's super powerful. Oh, anyone know why sometimes when you're playing online campaign, it somehow changes to versus mode? It's happened to be sometimes when I do online campaign, and it gets really annoying, especially when there's only the bots to play with when they automatically change you.

Hi all Left 4 Dead(Left For Dead) Players got cheats too (i dont play it is totally for noobs) about weakness.... Tank Weakness is shoot his chest with a Autoshotgun when he throwing rocks u can shoot the rock is better u dodge it throw a molotov is good he will confuse for a while a player with green colur health shoot him tank cannot chase green health ppl he can only chase yellow and red only.Fighting with tank is to spread out Witch I hate the most atk are high but hp is low run very fast shoot it before(with cheats)i juz see the claws of her is long and red hunting rifle is require to shoot witch ( if you want to ) atk with long range when is started she will be chasing so some ppl standby shooting with Autoshotgun molotov also can easily kill witch,but if you have one use it on Tank Playing with friends (online) nah some bad ppl likes to Friendly Fire so lol and idiot Hunter When it starts to jump on you at the mid-air, melee him he will stun for a while and is the chance to shoot him,the longer the jump, the easier the defensive maneuver. Smoker When a player is constricted, run up and melee your teammate. The smoker is useless at this point. If he is in view, feel free to take him out. Once a successful attack is landed, he will be momentarily stunned. Boomer just shoot hp too low (The information is up maybe u guys know its) Go find one map call harumhigh , this map is hard to ply...zombies everywhere.. Flamethrower?is it molotov? got ?

Left for dead...is truly a great game, hands down! FTW! @SRS - There are a bit of better approaches if you have the weapons to do it as well as what you stated. Tank: Use the molotov/gas tank and burn the tank, then you can run around until it dies if you prefer to take up more time, but much safer. Witch: Has an instant knock down if hit. However, if you turn your flashlight off and creep up behind her, you can shoot her down and kill the witch before the witch can strike. Boomer: Melee first if it's too close, otherwise his vomit will regardless go on everyone nearby.  |

Played one of the worst versus games, most BS~ing versus games ever. So I played one with all eight characters, which was fine. My team was kind of weak, though we did have a good moment, where at the one No Mercy level (the end of Sewers) we trapped them when they climbed up the ladder. Perfect set-up. One thing I also wanna add was weird was when the game should've ended, it didn't. It replayed the level again, but skipped the hordes or when the helicopter came. Not sure what to do, but when I heard Francis say "the chopper's here", I just ran for it and shot anyone in my way easy. But then after that, the next game was going to be retarded. Now one person I was playing with stayed with me, since everyone else left. We waited a bit in the lobby for people to show, but nobody really showed (at all after we played), so we just played one on one. It was okay, kind of fun, I was totally winning until the last level where I was the survivor, it was total BS. First off when you get to the house to call the rescue mission, you set up. I went over to the one farm house or whatever and climbed up to fight the hordes. The stupid thing that annoyed the crap out of me was that ALL THREE BOTS were downstairs and not helping me out. So whenever a smoker got me or a hunter pounced me, it took them forever to help. This happened multiple times through the campaign, too, and I was seriously getting pissed off. To make it worst, when it changed sides and it was my turn to be the infected, which I love (got two achievements for them, yes), but yeah, when it was my turn, it was total BS. Now nobody showed up or joined so it was still just me and this new dude. So we're playing, last level, I become the tank (also mention that they gave me BS spawn points!) and I knock all three bots down. I'm decided to kill the three bots since it'll be easier with one guy left, but somehow they manage to kill me with only single pistols, and remember you shoot slower when you're incapacitated, but for some reason Zoey would not die and I was crushing her brains out. Eventually I died, but I was just so pissed off. The mods are definitely BS, especially today. They don't help you, they rush off on their own (they're not supposed to do that, ever), it was just insane. I had so many chances to get the one achievement where you spit on four survivors at once with the Boomer, but for some reason it always ended up someone being left out, and I had the perfect chances. Coming from behind, hiding up top somewhere, etc. I keep trying the 100ft Drag for the Smoker, but that takes time and it's kind of hard to do. I almost got the one where you pounce two survivors at once with one Hunter, but eventually I died before I landed. Anyways, that's how my day with L4D went today. [@srs] There are actually cheats for this game. You enter them in some command prompt at the main menu or something. You can find people testing them out on Youtube and whatnot, but it takes the fun away though, plus a huge % of people don't know how to do it anyways. I don't even know how to vote, kick people, vote to lobby, change versus to campaign/vice versa, etc. during games either. Tanks: Easy to take down if you have open space to run around in. You're right, molotovs/gas tanks are deadly with tanks. Takes about 40 seconds alone to take 'em down, but still shoot at them, because the other special infected will take their opportunities (since a Tank means it's time for reckoning and it's a perfect chance since the players are preoccupied with one infected). Boomers are the best when Tanks come, only because they cause hordes to come obviously, and that's when Hunters and Smokers come in for the kill as well after the Boomer's done its part. Though really, it depends on who's who, since everyone has different skill levels, especially with Tanks. If you're just talking about Campain, yeah Tanks are easy to take down (Easy/Normal). I recently found out that Advance and Expert is not that hard, just damage is crucial, especially friendly fire. Witches: Easy to take down on Campain, and it's annoying, for some reason I can NOT get Crowned! Ugh. >_<;; I've tried to many times, but I guess you need the perfect centered shot. Some people go right up to the witch and just take it out before it even stands up. Crowned x 15, haha. Hunter: I agree with you about Hunter. I used to "dead stop " them (also an achievement) all the time, but recently I've been slow a bit, maybe because of the distance thing perhaps (or I lag). During versus, if a Hunter gets discovered, it's pretty much done. I've found a few times where I manage to escape and come back again. Smokers: Kind of complicated, most complicated for the infected cause there's so many details. Versus mode, it's fun playing with smokers (if you're the infected anyways). Hide in dark areas where your aura (that green odor around you) is hidden or stand somewhere with cracks so they can't easily kill you after they find you. I also noticed this recently, that once you attack with your tongue wrap or whatever, your entire body is stunned until it cuts the tongue and you can move again. Doesn't take long to recover unlike the Boomer, but Smokers are deadly if they find the perfect places and I've found so many. That 100ft drag is kind of hard though, I still try to get it. Boomers: Not sure what you're saying about Boomers, but also deadly if you found the right place to show up. It's especially deadly if you spit on someone and they don't kill you (since a few shots with the pistol even will kill you). It's best to plan out your attack rather than being in the open or waiting for someone (unless you find good areas). Like today for example, the subway level for the no mercy campaign. All the way when you get to the level where you fight the horde upstairs (where you open the garage door), these four players all hid together in the corner. Perfect Boomer opportunity for me, so I was on the floor up from them, hung over the ledge, and once again only got three of them (which was BS). Anyways, once again I'm so curious about the Survivor mode. I wonder if it'll be 4 or 8 player! Two new campaigns are going to be insane in the brain. There has to be another new weapon as well. Also, might be a bit much, but I wonder if they're adding in a new infected. I heard rumors of this, and not the screamer either (that idea was relinquished I think).

Oh you can pratice with friends like :Tank throws the rock,Hunter, jump in the mid-air melee him and smoker, melee him Hunter got shout through,listen carefully to find him The helicopter stages is at high building right ? got a window there in a room to summon a rescue using a radio right...Got window there if a Tank is chase on you he will follow you just jump through the window and the Tank will be stuck at the window..... try it, i try it before,yes you right ,easy and normal are easy Boomer is easy to kill Cheats (If you want it just use it) Firstly,Want ply cheats,Going into Options,Keyboard/Mouse,then check the console that got Anable blah blah blah chg to enable and then press ~ type sv_ cheat(space)0 to 9 ( enable cheats space) sv_infinite_ammo 1 to 9 god (infinite hp as will not die ) About Versus Mode also can ply cheats you know.. do Survivor press ESC it will have a main menu,as i call small main menu press ~ (this) type give(space)pistol (double handgun) give(space)rifle (a rifle) give(space)hunting(space)rifle give(space)SMG give(space)molotov give(space)pain bills give(space)health give(space)ammo give(space)autoshotgun and many more like pimp bomb

The thing about Hunters is if you're on a roof or some where high, and if you jump off and land on someone directly from the roof, it'll seriously cause them fatal injury, instantly. You can hear like a crack or something, which causes more damage than a floor pounce. Also you can hear one nearby if they're about to attack cause they don't make noises unless they crouch down, so that's a give-away. Boomers and Smokers make noises all the time, and Tanks are just obvious. I usually try to get the witch and/or car alarms involved. Just makes it better for hordes + Boomer combo. I might try the cheats, just to see how they work and whatnot, though I'm confused on how to input them.

Only the host can do sv_cheats 1. Its a "enable cheat mode" command all the way from Half-Life 1. I dont think sv_airaccelerate or sv_gravity applies in L4D, although it would be interesting results. Tanks are only hard at expert, thats because the rubble will bring you down within one hit. Speaking of expert mode, its really repeatitive in campaign. Its like, just one person that got the bile from boomer requires the whole team to run to the nearest enclosed space to fend of the horde, and its usually two doing duck melee at the door when it breaks, and the other two shooting. That is really effective for all scenarios save for witch and tanks; if theres a hunter or smoker just melee your teammates, and boomers just meant more infected to kill. And it usually gets ugly when you encounter a tank without any molotovs. Personally I have never survived a tank encounter with a team with basic weapons and no molotovs on expert mode. Tanks in versus is a bit hard to play. The first thing you need to do is to scout around for movable objects. It will act as a shield when your closing the gap, and it will instantly bring survivors down. I still remember my first time being a tank; it was at No Mercy chapter 1, and my friend was yelling at me to push that red alarm car towards the survivor. They shot it, more infected came out, they got surrounded, and finally got squashed by my red toy car. It was awesome. Tanks can kill other infected too, so if you hate your current class just get the tank to whack you. =P Great for exacting revenge on your teammates stealing your kills. Hunters wise, I have never gotten a kill with it. Was having too much fun leaping around when I was one. Got killed straightttt awayyy. XD Boomers... Climb up to the highest point, and fall on the survivors. The spewing of bile's range is pretty decent, so I always make sure I use that before I go bust, then hide behind a car with alarm... Smokers are too decent. You can only have one smoker out of the four infected, the delay simply kills you, and people tend to go for M16s, which are crazily accurate. Its only useful when you can coordinate with other infected to go in for a strike, like 3 hunters plus you. Smokers can never make the first attack, but they serve as great tools for getting the pros out of the group for a tank to kill him.  |

Nice job with that tank. I always try to get the car alarm involved. I love being tanks, but after my last few times being a tank at horrible obvious spawn points, I'm starting to hate it. Also, my last few games in veruse mode have not been as pleasant except for a few moments. I hate playing with a horrible team, or a team that doesn't stick together. The point is to make it to the next safe house with as much health as you can, and staying together to protect teammates. Also another thing about tanks, whenever I'm a tank and I knock someone down, it takes a bunch of shots to even get the bars in red for them, which is BS. I've seen numerous times where people are tanks and just are Satan. One punch, they go flying like insanely far, and they kill people instantly. When a tank is out, that's one of the best moments to attack rather if you're a hunter or smoker, because the obvious task is to kill the tank. I love being smokers, especially first. They get my momentum going, and it's good to warm up. I tried again today to get that 100 ft drag achievement, still it's too difficult, and once again, failed at the spitting on fur people with a boomer achievement. Oh well. :D I tried to get Crowned again, but someone shot it before I did, so there goes that. Boy, people sure ruin a lot of things for me, huh? XD Hunters are fun, but sometimes when I'm walking around near them, sneak attack, I feel they instantly know where I am. Like they see the outline of my figure, which is total BS. Have you tried wall jumping yet? It's kind of fun, though I haven't practiced so much yet. You're truly spider man with this, haha, but you have to be quick. I seriously hope they fix the servers soon. There's always a high chance of you getting on a bad server. And it's not that you lag, it's simply the server lagging, which sucks. Played with one person today, he was lagging horribly (as he told me), but the server held up unlike the one before which booted us out. We mostly killed a lot, 50+ infected at least, which is a high for me anyways. Here's an open question, what's the most infected you guys killed in a campaign? And what other achievements have you guys not unlocked yet? There are some, that depend on teammates alone like Untouchables (or something) and Unbreakable. I almost got the one where you don't heal for the entire campaign, but this stupid kid had a ton of friendly fire on me and I was forced to heal. Not sure if pills are negated, but they heal you temporarily so yeah. Akimbo is kind of easy, haven't unlocked it, tried it, but it's something for later I suppose, kind of like the spit-on-all-four-survivors-at-once-achievement. Last thing about tanks in versus, one of the most fun I've ever had was knocking all four players down single handily (also another achievement). About the 100 Witch.. is type cheats call z_spawn witch ( spawn a witch) z_spawn tank (spawn a tank) got hunter,smoker,zombie(one only)and boomer my friends and I team in versus 1 Boomer 3 Hunter Boomer go first, split the acid.... when is a lot of ZOMBIES atk other ppl,2 or 3 Hunter go Jump Atk most infected kills ? i think is tank (with cheats) A lot of Tank like they plying a basketball or a football fly they fly here so shit.... 100 WITCH!!! better try it with cheats SMOKER

Ugh, every time I play versus, I just never have fun. Crappiest, more unfair spawn points they can give people, and it's like somehow the other team knows where everyone else is, which is BS. When I see that someone takes down the Tank so easily, without a horde or anything, it pisses me off. Played an online game today (by myself, nobody joined D:), and got the man vs tank achievement, by cheating though. Kill my players on Expert, then switched it over to regular. It was at the warehouse in the No Mercy campaign, right near the end of The Subway level. I knew I heard the tank and it was close, for sure, so I closed all the doors to avoid getting attacked while changing difficulties, reloaded my ammo and set off. Didn't go far until I heard a smoker, and thought it was right down the hall cause I saw something moving. I shot at it (auto shotty) and then the music comes along... a tank it was. Luckily nothing else was around, so it was surely man vs tank to the best arena, though an unfair disadvantage for it. I had a molotov, and I wan back outside the room with the ammo and weapons. Since it's so large, guess it had a hard time walking so fast threw the doors and whatnot, so I was at a good distance and launched a molotov in its way. From there on, it was just keeping my distance and waiting for it to burn to death. It managed to put up a good fight, and I shot it when it got relatively close, but it died then. There's that huge top circle you can run around in, so yeah, it's definitely easy, even if I kind of did it unfairly. This achievement it annoying when you're team is only bots. Better to do it alone, at the right moment, cause of other infected. I tried doing man vs. tank numerous time and failed cause hordes would come, a hunter gets me or a smoker wraps me up. D: Jesus, I can't wait for the new update. To be honest, I get bored with L4D quickly sometimes, mostly cause I never find interesting people to play with. Nobody talks, everyone does their own thing, we die. :/ Also heard rumors of more weapons (yes!) and bosses (what!?). Makes sense to add more new content, and with two new campaigns, that's orgasmic enough. Also, again, I wish they fix the major server issues. The new feature about making your own PC is longing.

There was rumor of a Bazooka type weapon, but they said it might be too powerful to fit into the game system. I want something like the battle rifle, but more stronger like the auto shotty. The battle rifle is a mix of that and the Uzi (or whatever), and a bit of the Sniper since it's pretty accurate for long distance. An upgrade on the Uzi might be impressive, like those guns you see in action-mafia movies? It'd be cool to duel wield Uzis, haha. On a different note, got the long drag today with the Smoker, with a horrible lag, too. Two achievements left as an infected, but I was just playing another versus game, which will be my last. I'm done with versus, I'm done with the people that I end up playing with, it's over. I was just playing with this one dude, he's such an 455H0L3, and tried to boot me. Kept talking about how I was playing when he wasn't even doing any better. That's what I hate about playing with people on versus, they're so ignorant and disrespectful. So I'm done. Might not even play L4D that much until the DLC arrives or whatever, but yeah, forget it.
