SAILOR MOON! And it will always be my absolute favorite anime along with Gravitation. I think Pokemon was one of my first animes, too. But Sailor moon hasn't been on tv since I was in 5th grade! How could they take away such an awesome anime?!

| I think mine was "Heidi" is japanese (Or swiss) so i guess it must be anime. Also Saint seiya. I was so young i'm not sure of which was the first from them :P |

I think my first was Sailor Moon. I remember sitting in the lunch room in 2nd grade with orange slices, saying, "Look, I'm sailor moon," and stuffing one into my mouth to make it seem like I was screaming. Wow... And I'm a guy. >.< (@malna21: VHS tapes are the way to go!!!) And then, I think it was Record of Lodoss War and Kino's Journey, sometime during sixth grade. There was a period where I stopped watching TV for a few years. I still don't watch much cable, but stick to internet and the used video stores.

Voltron, when I was 3 years old. And Speed Racer (If I'm not wrong, that's counted). And The Super Dimension Fortress Macross. And then, I took a long break from anime during my childhood and came back with much enthusiasm after Samurai X was released on television. Huzzah. So, in a way, it's counted. Otherwise, I'd forget about anime. We could say that it's a revival of interest XD So that makes these 4 "my first animes".  |

Well in the 80's I watched Sanrio films that were dubbed here, ie. Unico, Sea Prince and the fire child But first anime I watched that I knew was anime was Sailormoon back in 1995-1996. |
