First things first , like Gendou said , this is not a instant messenger . Seriously , my dear Kana-chan just got banned , and I don't want anyone posting in this thread gets banned for this case (especially me) . If you don't introduce yourself first , I'll get you for it , honestly *angry* . Maybe I should update the rules for this thread so that they get it from that moment onwards . It was a lucky shot it's a warning , or else there will be no Malaysians thread anymore . We've been warned , and we must abide it . Secondly , about the Odex thing , I agree with Bkno9 partly . Yes , it's illegal to download anime that are licensed already and yes also Odex can't stop the die-hard fans from enjoying anime by downloading it (I agree that the works done by the sub-peoples are better) . Because Malaysia is still fresh when it comes to anime culture , I'm fine with it . But this is where I got to disagree with Bkno9 for this (Sorry , Bkno9 , no offense) . Yes you can download anime because it's still too hard to find animes that are good in quality in Malaysia , but if possible , try to find the original anime and buy it , although you've watched it already , but there might be more in the original ones , so try to find and buy it . Why do I ask you to buy the original ones ? Should I give you an example ? Ok , I'll put it like this , the U Draw Thread . People there love drawing and they keep on drawing to improve their works so that one day they can make an anime of their own . Suddenly , one person in that thread decides to make an anime of his/her own and made it , then he/she publishes it to the company (both manga and anime version) to sell it nationwide so that he/she can earn some money to support the needs both his/her life or improving his/her next manga or anime works . Then suddenly , he/she founds out there are people who are gossiping about the free anime downloads without ever buying it . He/She goes there and finds out there are works of his/her being listed in 'downloadables' list . Even worse , the company does not know about this webpage . He/she might get frustrated by this action . Why ? It's never easy to make an anime like what you see right now (especially the mangas) . They always burn the midnight oil to complete a few pages of manga or a few minutes of an anime . That's why it takes several years for an anime or manga to be produced by the manga artist himself/herself and to be sold to the anime fans . They hope their work can be appreciated and be payed to get some better things to improve their works for an upcoming anime/manga for everyone to see . But the money they're supposed to earn (which is supposingly a lot) wasn't as much as they we're used to be , even the company themselves aren't earning the targeted amount of money . Where did the rest of the money go to ? To the anime download website owner instead of the manga artist nor the company . To make things worse , their works (especially the mangas) that are so hard to complete had also being copied and given away like this without placing the original manga artist's name on it for free . Now , how do you feel when you don't get the money needed and the appreciation required for the anime you produce ? Angry ? Frustrated ? Annoyed ? I am a manga artist myself , and I felt the hardship of the other manga artist who do the manga and anime for everyone , and I also felt the pain felt by the others when their works are not giving the money and appreciation they needed . That's why I'd rather buy it if there are available . And trust me , even the professional manga artist like Ben , Kenny , Apoh , Slaium etc. will do and say the exact same thing I did and said all the above . If you don't believe , ask them . Some might download at start but in the end they rather find it and buy it than download it . So do support the original ones , were still new at it , it's not too late , not like the Singaporeans . Thirdly , the Comic Fiesta ? Sounds interesting , but when December ? And fourthly , welcome to all the new Malaysians ^^ to the Malaysians thread . That's it for now , later . |

@Angelus Huh~? Kana-chan got banned?? I din know she was posting in here..dun think I saw her for quite some time. Or did she change her nick? Anywhoooo~~ no I'm not angry. Everyone is entitled to their opinions. Actually I dun disagree with what you said. I feel the same way when it comes to music, some time back, I had a band and we were thinking of making something out of it.. but seeing the state of things in Malaysia, we had to let go of that idea.. Maybe in the future, when original anime is more readily available.. I will definitely buy. Cos the quality is definitely better. Some fan-subs have pretty bad quality..can't help it since the raws they have to work with are not the best XD Btw, what is everyone watching at the moment?

Oops , type wrongly :P . Sometimes , when I type or talk , I might go overshoot at times 'till a mistakes appear XD , especially when I get emotional . My English is really good but the way I type or talk needs some polishing XD . Kana-chan did not return , but I DO really hope so TT______TT . You got a band ? Aww , I always wanted to hear Malaysian bands singing more , like Pop Shuvit XD . I'm sorry to hear that , I hope your band can be reborn again ^^ . But it can't be help , Malaysian's vision is still blurry , and it's coming 2020 , I wonder if the vision 2020 can be archieved ? That's what I'm planning to do after all , bringing the anime culture to Malaysia and make the anime shows more better and available (This is what I've been planning for since I started drawing manga XD) . But it's now quite uncertain if it can happen , lots of obstacle to go through ~~~~NYAHAHAHAHA~~~~~~~~~~~WA~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ..... =.=* I'm now watching Sola anime (I bought it , not download it) |

Sola.. I've heard some things about it, maybe I'll check it out later. Currently I'm watching Busou Renkin.. well.. it doesn't blow you away.. somehow the characters seem so familiar (not too original.. >_<) It kinda gives you the feeling of "Where have I seen this before?" But there's enough interesting things in it to make me stick to the end. Anyway.. I shouldn't really comment on it when I'm only at ep5 XD I remember thinking Claymore was so-so in the first few episodes as well. That turned out to be one of the best I've seen this year XD Err.. I had a band is more like it. The band leader officially kai san the band when he went to Aus to further his studies. The rest of my band members are working and have stopped playing as well. My bass is sitting in the corner collecting dust.. Vision 2020? I dun even know what's the objective anymore.. that idea sorta died with Tun Dr Mahathir's handover.. And about Kana-chan.. was she banned along during 'that time'? I'm not sure since it's been awhile. Anyway.. you could always pm her if you can remember her nick and tell her about the new thread XD

O.o @Bkno9 The creator of Busou Renkin also made Roruni Kenshin during the past , that's why it looks sort of similar XD (Just like SHnY and Shakugan no Shana) lol , so desu ..... , but I really kesiankan bass anda , eating the dust there ~.~* (Mahal betul gitar itu) The vision 2020 did continue by Dr.Ahmad Badawi , but it was somehow nearly forgotten by our generation 'cause it's really a LO~~~ng time ago >.< . Yes , she was . But is it still possible to pm her here in gendou after she's banned from gendou ? |

I'm talking like Kana-chan is dead or something* Anyway... no point dwelling on the past.. Hmm, busou renkin is getting to be quite watchable, thanks to the sudden comical actions injected into serious scenes XD Btw.. like you new siggy.. it's simple, yet.. XD
