hmmmmm ..... just passing by ...... again ..... :P Oh , my ! So the topic is about Anime fanatics , interesting ..... *Warning : This Post Is Going To Be Long , and I mean LONG* O.O But to be honest , does this facts of me of what I usually do in most of my life makes me an animefreak ..... -I'm able to watch the whole episodes of an anime in a day (if it's 26 episodes , then 26 episodes in a day . If it's 40 episodes , then 40 episodes done in a day) -I LOVE BELLDANDY!!!!!!!!!! SHE'S MY IDOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -I daydream almost the whole day , and only it's about anime and my manga design. -I love anime songs so much , I would keep repeating the same old Japanese songs(maybe some new ones too) non stop , just like watching the whole anime , in a day , TOO ! -I love any kind of anime , shounen , bishounen , ecchi , fanservice , hentai , mecha(lesser) , shoujo , and more else. -I rather work as a anime manga artist rather than other thing else ! -I like fantasy more than reality. -If god grant me the power to bring anything non-existent to life , I'll use it to bring anime to life but I would think others as last to do. -I do weird actions done by animes such as head drooping , jaws dropping due to shock , anime style of laughing and so on. If yes , thank you , if no , it's ok ^^ That's a lot about me , but you might think that it's ridiculous ..... sorry to dissapoint , but all of those of me is true , and because of those facts above , I've been given the title 'Anime Freak' by to be honest , my family , relatives , friends , and even some outsiders (you'll never find my nickname in my profile , cause people might eventually find me an Anime Freak , soon) . But , am I bothered by this title ? No , never and I encourage everyone to call me that , as in : "Go ahead , go on , call me that , satisfy yourself , I don't really mind after all , I admit I'm a freak , and in reality , so do you ....." The speech above did also happen in an actual event , where my friend , an arrogant friend who likes to look down on otakus (that includes me) . All I just said is what stated above , and magically , it kept his mouth shut after that (Serve him right) . It's been 3 years , everytime there's a reunion party , when he saw me , he would'nt say anything to me , and just kept himself quiet ! To be honest , there are people who are out there would turn out to be very much similar to my ****** friend of mine , they might act smart , but actually we're just equal . So if they call us weirdo , so are they ! If they call us freaks , so are they !!!! If they call us otakus useless ****, well I should modify a little on this ..... okay , then they are TOTAL ******* !!!!!! Trust me , even those who are retarded or imperfect , both physical and mental , are proven theoratically , much smarter than of those ******* . Yes , being retarded or imperfect is a downside of them , but it's a special gift !!! Even we're otakus , we're special cause we've been given the power of being otakus !!!! But how about those ******* who loves to call us 'things' ? Do they have such gift like others too ? ..... ummm , let me guess , yes , to be ******** ***** *****!!!!!!! Even retards , Imperfect , and now us otakus can think a step ahead , and this is what we call 'our dream' . Yes , for those who call us 'things' , you think they have dreams ?? NOT !!!! That's because they're best and only best at that !!!! And nothing else !!!!! With our 'gift' , we're able to learn more that others could not . For example , I'm a person who is a recluse and who do not socialize well , and even don't speak english well , that was before . After that , 'anime' appears . Though I may not know it before , but as time pass , it becomes clearer . I started to watch anime , I draw mangas in english , and most of all , I've turned myself away form being a quiet person to a socialable person , like what I've type so far ! That's because being an 'anime freak' really helps me a lot in the sense that I'm no longer a common person , I'm now an Otaku-freak!! And for those ****s , they call us weirdos , psycho or whatever , but what do they learn from there after all ? Are they like us , special ? Yes , ..... NOT!!! They'll learn to be more ******* ****s ,and then more ******* ******* ****s , more and so on but one thing for sure , they'll remain ****s forever and will learn nothing else . But we otakus ,we learn a lot from just being otakus , and I mean A LOT !!!! In speech , social skill , talent , understanding and more !!!!! This is what human beings are supposed to be , and for those ****s who like to call us 'this' and 'that' , they are well deserved to be called "Donkeys" cause "Donkeys" only knows how to make that ******* noise that will annoy us and they'll keep making that noise cause that's what they're best AT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So , I would like to advice all otakus ..... just ignore them , they're just annoying you with those noisy words , like "DONKEYS"!!!! Trust me , I've expierenced it for a LONG TIME ! I'm sorry for being very offensive , it's like not the real 'me' , and if I offended anyone , I'm very sorry . At times , these so called 'burden' must eventually be released and it did relieved me a bit right now . Then again ,"honto" gomenasai , sorry because it just really ticks me when some people at times don't use their brain at all. |

I am an anime fan, but not to the extreme point of being weird. All I do is watch an anime or read a manga, draw some fanart of them, and maybe obsess a little over a certain character. I'm not those crazy "OMGIWANNAMARRYRENJI" fangirls. They're scary.  |

Uh....yeah, some people call me that too, but no one ever called me an otaku because people here don't know what an otaku is tebayo~! But I do find anime fanatics weird ONLY WHEN they go off the chain, that's already...like...taking drugs and stuff dattebayo~ @_@ I don't mind otakus, though tebayo~!  |

hey how come that some people think anime are for young kids only they dont know a thing about anime and what up of thinking that anime music are dumb heck they are sometimes or much better than american music and they tell the meaning of the song...

i too am an anime LOVER and i am not afraid to tell the world about it. I mean, it's the most wonderful thing i've ever done in my whole life! i never and will never regret that i am an anime LOVER. but sad to say, some people just misunderstand me and everyone else in the same boat. We are called freaks, jerks, weird, immature, perver, silly, crazy and anything else and it hurts. sometimes, it hurts so bad that i could almost tell them to put their asses on hell wheer they can live with their 'gods'. actueally, all the people in this world have their own 'fantasies' and we are destined to be in this situation, loving and admiring anime. Other people are in the same situation only in different things. some are on soap operas, on stamp collections...almost anything even those powerful people that rule the countries....deep inside, i know... oh well, it looks like i overdid it again. anyway, hope someone dared to read and liked it!!!
i cannot protect you without a sword....
but i cann't embrace while holding a sword...

@ Rabbit: well, technically, I watch anime for as long as I can. Let's see...on school days I watch it for 6 hours straight, of course, I do my homework at the same time, so there's nothing wrong with that. School is important, yeah, but that doesn't mean you can't multi-task, eh? XD |

Well yeah, I do agree with that. School always comes first. And actually, most of the time I never spend over 1 hour watching anime. -Too much homework.- But let's say...it takes over my spare time? That is if I'm not playing soccer. I watch it a fair amount, that covers it.  |

Gosh I got into Anime pretty recently, as in the past year, because I just got into a new school and met a friend who introduced it to me, and I'm now completely obsessed. I'm deffinately not afraid to admit it even to people who aren't anime freaks, because they are the ones missing out on all the awesome shows! Anime has taken over my life. I let it. ^-^ |

| a lot of anime fans are wierd or "unique". before i moved i was part of my old schools anime club and i was like "what is wrong with you guys?" and i wans't fitting in but then they started talking about naruto and i know quite a lot about it so i got into the conversation and started correcting them and whatnotand then i found out i fit in. my sister joined and on the first she was freaked out by them and felt like going home but she ended up fitting in too. The members get really pissed when you call anime by the three c's, cartoon, chinese thing, or comics and make a big fuss about it. so later they seemed normal because we are just like them except i dont get upset when they use the 3 c's i just correct them |

well how can being yourself be weird?if you honsety like and love anime then go for it...have it all, but if your doing it only to be anime savy or anything like out geek someone then that would be pushing it... to those who looked down on anime fanatics and otakus...well who the heck are you to look down on these people, sure some act as if they're so knowledgeble in the world of anime or game or watever their forte is but still, it not nice to generalize that otakus like that...
