Yes, welcome, Dangel. For one thing, there is no story here, people are here to just have fun and get drunk... and have chibi wars ^_^ "One day... we will all have mecha." Nice line, but admit it, the show sucks. Although I can't complain about the characters. |

Okay, please hear me out: My best friend from college is nicknamed Charlie. I have liked this dude as a friend ever since we met. Just a few a hours ago, a girl we call white called me and told me that she and Charlie were now best friends. I did not reply to but I called him right away. A group conflict started about whether he was "betraying the group" or just me and whether I should or should not be jealous. Personaly, I am but he and another said I shouldn't be. The rest of the group said I should be. Now, since I also consider you guys friends, I would really like to ask you guys (and everybody else) what I should do to prevent that witch from bothering us. (I think I already posted this but anyway, I want more posts!) |

The thing is we are all in the same career so we have to see her everyday. My group of friends (around seven guys and me the only girl) don't hang around with the rest of the first year metalurgists. White hangs with the other group, not with us, but for some weird reason they all started to talk to us and invite us to parties and reunions or whatever. We never go but sometimes Charlie and I will talk to them during our free time. Benjy, Orlas, Marcus him and the rest don't. |

So is this a group issue or an induvidual thing? |

To Doc: It's a group issue which bothers me very much. |

Ah-ha. Right... Try writing about it before you loose the emotion. I'll think some more on this matter and try to help. |

Sorry, but I'm not sure how to handle such situations. The best solution I could think of would be to talk about it. Nothing will be gained from assumptions and conclusions except chaos. |

So you talked to them on your 'free time'. What kinda parties are these? It better not be those get your drunk, black out, tie you to a train track type parties (dont know where the hell that came from). Is the reason those other friends of yours, don't talk to that other group because they don't like them or something? Is this an anger type thing, maybe anger is between this? or maybe they just want to be friends or something, but your friends dont want to talk to them, so they'll just wait or somethign else to happen? ------- |

To answer DANGEL He is the leader of the group and since he doesn't like them, the rest of us try to avoid the other groups company. My group of friends have never gone to a party with the other group. When I said free time, I meant the time inbetween clases. |

oh I see, gomen for that! uhh, I don't know what else to say, well he's the leader, I guess you should follor what ever he tells you to do. But it sounds to me, I would prolly hate them too, just a feeling I get, this situation sounds familar to what happened to me in real life, maybe it's happening now? *though we better becareful not to get locked, this has over 3000 posts, haha *drools** I hope you can figure this puzzle out... ------- |
Re: Critic's Bar

So this is a real "Us vs. Them" matter? Those are dangerous Sky. You can make some real enemies in situations like that. |

He dislikes them because they drink, smoke, make out when their drunk, destroy public property and other not so good things. In our group, he is the only one who doesn't drink. We all have an average above 80. To put it simple, he dislikes them because they are too "unhealthy" for his taste. The main reason why we (as a group) don't like them is because they tend judge other people by their appearance. At first they disliked our group but since a girl nicknamed light started to like him, now they want us all to be friends... |

Its not like staying away from that sort of thing is bad, but making an issue of it in my opinion is. There are enought things to worry about in life without pointing out other people's problems... |

I'm out of my league here Sky because the people you're talking about sound like me and my mates... |
