Off-Topic : Gundam 00's 2nd Season OP is done by UVERworld. Anyways, back to topic. @Engel : I think thats how it was suppose to be, distorted, hyde's face i mean.xD and yeah, i compared their old songs and now, you can really hear the difference, and hyde still looks, not old. O_O . ken looks like those middle-aged men (or those smoking uncles . xD ). yukihiro still looks. okay though. he is liek, showing an emotionless expression all the time he is playing the drums.    |

SHINE/NEXUS 4 is scheduled for a double release at the end of this month. Other than that, they're doing their solo project work again, so no. About the video, I love the effects. Gave me a few ideas for this upcoming website design year for me in school. The vector/slight grunge is so well done, and talk about Vivid Colors. XD Of course they add some pretty girl in, out of random, haha.

He usually does, since he moved to Vocalist. On one of their AWAKE Tour performances of "STAY AWAY", they had a little part where Yukihiro did vocals, though I have no idea what the song was. O.o` I haven't really dug deep into all their solo projects before, though quite frankly to be honest, I'm not that interested to tell you the truth. I've never heard Ken's solo project though, but the band name is so funny. XD All of them do have partial success though, since fans still support their prior-Laruku work. If their hiatus is gonna last for about three years, that's a long wait man! They had two before but I got into Laruku after their second hiatus, so it might be tough. :/

Yeah, their first hiatus was rough, though fans continued to support them. To be honest, I never liked Sakura. In all the videos I saw with him and Laruku live or not, I don't think I've ever seen a smile on his face. Plus I prefer Yukihiro's drumming style more. Though some fans left Laruku since they were Sakura fans I guess. I think even today, he works with one of the Laruku members on their side projects. I think it was Ken, though I'm not sure. Sakura is still the drummer. Their second hiatus was when they decided to start on their solo projects. Y'know, HYDE and "Season's Call" and whatnot, etc. This was when HYDE did other stuff, too, not just making songs. Nothing bad happened to the band either, I don't want you to get that impression, they just decided to work on their own stuff after what, 10+ years together as a band? Their third hiatus, currently active, is probably just the same way. They can't leave their solo projects, though I think it's good to take a break once and a while, y'know? Hang out with other people, friends, family, work on your solo projects, watch anime and sleep, etc. XD

When they came back from their second hiatus, they did the Shibuya Seven Days concert. Though it wasn't the best lyrical performance for HYDE since his voice was pretty choppy on some songs. They did a few of my favorites, too: flower, Driver's High, Anata, Lies and Truth, etc. I wish they did a modern day version of "flower" live more though. I love that song.

I can't recognise DA when u keep changing avatars... luckily your siggy doesn't change~ Well, the Japanese like the French most so it won't be surprising if that beautiful lady there is a French~ Talking about Ken's other band... reminds me of a story told by my fren. She was watching Ken's other band's performance and Ken was all dressed up as a girl. THen when my fren's bro walked into the room she asked him if "Ken" was pretty (for a girl) and he said ya. Later did he realised that is a HE and not a SHE... he was like "WTF!" hahah!! Her bro is so funny~ Haiz... I want their new Album~~~ (singles are too expensive for me...)  |

Well their name is French for "Arc in the Sky" or "Rainbow", "niji" = rainbow in Japanese, too! Not sure about Ken as a girl, for some reason I thought of Yachiru's kawaii~~ "Ken-chan" from Bleach. =^-^= In performances, tetsu wears a skirt (with pants under), but he knows how to rock that skirt, man. In the 90s, HYDE looked like a girl, some say he still does now, or is beautiful as one, so... yeah, lol. Which new album are you talking about? :O

[@Yat] Well wrong, since she was talking about a future album that doesn't exist yet. ^-^" About their current band name, tetsu was the originally leader of "The Zombies". This was originally their first band name... back in 1991! Of course HYDE and yukihiro weren't there yet, but they recruited Sakura for drums a bit later. Ken was a childhood-school friend of tetsu from High School or something. Ken's original plan was not to be a guitarist, he was going to work with some big company in Japan, but since tetsu needed some help and a guitarist for the band, the two close friends joined the band. together. After this, I think HYDE was the final piece that did it. I think after all of this, they changed their name as they released their first demo and album together. Then of course years later, Sakura got into some major trouble, then left the band as Yukihiro was later picked up. Also, I read a little bit of this somewhere else before, but apparently P'UNK~EN~CIEL, their "alter ego" was also formed in the 90s or something, it was like like something they began working on but haven't released anything til after 2000 or so. Don't quote me on some of this stuff, since it's really, really old info on 'em. [@Engel] There's some of their "Best Clicked Singles..." albums, but they're not really albums. I think it might be another year or so for them to compose a new album. Since they don't have any new single releases, only SHINE and NEXUS 4 being the only two as of now, and since they're all working on their solo projects, it might take a little while though since they sound so good, it's definitely possible. I suggest checking out their older stuff if you've never heard it. Lies and Truth, Driver's High, flower, Blurry Eyes, Vivid Colors, Anata, HONEY, etc. Their visual days weren't as good as they are now, but I still love a few of the singles, some listed above here.

Hee~ Thanks DA! Among the few you've listed, I've heard a couple of them... or at least remember their name. I actually have their whole collection (now that I remember) from the day they started out... 10 albums I believe... with the last album the same as the 1st but in re-mix ver... hee~~~ |

Hmm, not as good as SHINE, in my opinion. It's a bit catchy, though SHINE will be #1 out of th two here. The video is pretty nice, reminds me of the DAYBREAKS Bell Video. A nice g.solo from Ken, as expected his solos are just so smooth and good now. They made the setting look so real... I wonder how fans are reacting to that.

My reaction (as a fan)... Cool!!!! Is as if they are really playing on some rooftop on a thunderstorm day!!!! kyaa!!!! Dangerous! I like the part where Yukihiro has his solo with vocal only~ (does that still consist of a solo? =S) at 2:49 to 3:05!! |
