I really believe it now. I think I knew I loved my current boy friend the moment I laid eyes on him. Of course that love became more meaningful as I got to know him and became close friends with him. Now that I am his girl friend, my best friend takes pride in reminding me that I came home from school the day I met my boy friend I said "There is this cute guy I met today, and I really like him, but I'm too afraid to talk to him." Thus I come to my new conclusion. True love at first sight does exist, some people are just to afraid to act on it. |

Love is a big word. Therefore love at first sight is not something I believe in. You can fancy someone a lot ofcourse, the moment you lay eyes on them, but that's not immediately love. Maybe it is because I dï½nt think someone can fall in love with someone else so easily and I believe that love is something that contains loving the other for their good side but also one's the flaws, those are seen when you know someone better. Therefore I don't believe in love at first sight. |

This is just me but I believe love can only come from a personal connection with someone. That is, to understand them, their personality motivations, etc. A lot can be gathered based on looks alone, but not enough to decide you love someone. One may become really interested in a person based on superficial qualities. They may look like they have an awful lot in common with you, and be someone you can truly be with. I agree with Anke; The relationship becomes more meaningful when you get to know them. But no, I don't believe in love at first sight. Maybe my standards of love are just crazy xD. |

I believe it exists. Love is an emotion. Emotions are meant to change according to situation or over time. To love is to have a strong feeling affection, liking, or desire about something or someone. When you lay eyes upon someone you like (usually for looks), the fact that you notice them and pay more attention to them than others shows that you care about them. You probably don't want anything bad to happen to that person. Though, the degree in which people care depends solely on the person. Some people will merely notice, and some people will go all out. I believe this explains why people become crazy and irrational in order to get that person to notice you so that you can be closer to that person. Sure this kind of love is spontaneous, but as I said, emotions change - it's only in the spur of the moment that it exists. Forgive me, I am a very technical person. I go by definitions in the book. That being said, whether or not the other person returns that love is another story. It depends on what your definition of 'love at first sight is'. That was mine. Also, whether or not love at first sight goes anywhere depends on many many factors. However, for just that split second or however long you're faced with the situation, I believe it exists. |

Nope. I don't but I do know that it exist. It's just that it won't happen to me. I'm the kind of person who needs an "insurance". If someone really love me and gives me their all, I will do the same. I'm the kind of person who would do something if I'm sure about it. I have to feel it in the heart. That's just me. |

I believe in it, it happened to me before. I don't know if it's about the looks and whatnot but before I knew anything about that person, I found my heart beating faster for him.
