Chrono Crusade, last episode, when Chrono and Rosette were sitting on the bench talking to each other under the setting sun. Their conversation was very emotional. Not long after, they were found by their comrades, leaning on one another's shoulder, resting in peace. Very touching scence, tears almost came out.

THIS POST HAS SPOILERS! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! This is in no particular order: 01) The death of Maes Hughes in Fullmetal Alchemist. I always know that it's coming, but I cry every time I see it, regardless. 02) When Kenshin leaves Kaoru for Kyoto in episode 31 of Rurouni Kenshin. 03) When Wolfwood dies in Trigun. 04) When Spike dies at the end of Cowboy Bebop. I feel like crying every time I hear Blue because this scene gets to me so much. I cry every time I see it. 05) At the end of Samurai X: Reflections (Seissouhen), when Kenshin and Kaoru die. Although I don't count that as the real ending because I've read through the entire manga, it is incredibly sad. 06) Grave of the Fireflies. The entire movie is sad, but the ending is heart-wrenching. I cried so much after that. 07) When Mizusu dies in Air. 08) I haven't seen the anime, so it may have ended differently, but I don't think so. Paradise Kiss had me crying when George and Caroline aren't together. It broke my heart. 09) In Nana when she leaves Nobu and their relationship goes to hell because she is pregnant. |

Oh yes: of course Spoilers: Chrno Crusade has that scene at the end with them dying next to each other. Code Geass R2 has Nunnaly crying her not-blind eyes out when Lelouch "dies".

I almost cried watching Code Geass R2 ending.With the synchronisation of the sad scene and background music,the last part was truly emotional.     |

Yeah, Code Geass (both the first season and R2) was just generally sad...I cried at all the deaths. 3rd Hokage's death made me cry a lot. I don't know why, since I didn't particularly like him anyway. I just found it sad. It was unfortunate that I heard about Hughes' death before I saw it. I never actually got around to finishing FMA because I didn't want to see the death. I think every good anime has at least one tear-jerking moment...I can't remember all the times I've cried over an anime.
I tell you everything that is really nothing, and nothing of what is everything, do not be fooled by what I am saying. Please listen carefully and try to hear what I am not saying.

Lol, saddest moment eh. For me I guess whenever someone in the anime start crying lawl. And when there's sad BGM of moment from the anime flashback something like that. And when your favorite characters died unexpectedly like from FMA and dang kenshin !!! T.T I honestly cry years ago when I still watch naruto and got to the eps where the hokage died with the sad music along with it. Even though I don't watch naruto anymore for now. I don't know, but every anime pulling tears out from my eyes in each episodes even when it's funny moments. Odd right. -_-; Also I think, I agreed with most of the posts before me. |

Hmm from wat i can think of top of my head is Code geass season 2 when rolo shoots that girl lelouch likes and then he lets out one of those kira screams from gundam seed. In Gundam 00 when Lockon Stratos died and haro comes in dynames and keeps saying haro! haro~ and Felt starts crying In Clannad after story where Nagisas child has the same disease and dies in her daddy's arms and thinks how different it wouldve been if her mom didnt die and was born without the disease. In Kanon where Ayu was the fox and became a real girl to repay that gratitude for the guy but shortened her life span to a year and then dies in his arms. so sad im starting to get tears and the runs from my nose well ill stop here i might need a tissue.

The multiple endings of Higurashi's arcs where people ended up dying, especially when it showed Rika dead on her shrine's altar. T-T; That's the saddest parts I can recall off the top of my head, because it seems there's already a bunch of references to Air in this thread. ;P  |
