"what if i use this sentence to tell someone else and not using tabesareta?" (I don't quite understand, more clarification?)"

Lol, thx for the explanation Mamoru San..I was confused at the start.....Now i understand.

Today I am busy but tommorow i have one thing to ask.

1.I really very happy!

am or was?

If it is "Was" Watashi wa ureshikatta desu maybe ureshikatta desu is enough...But if it is "am" I think it is watashi wa ureshii desu.

2.I'll keep up the good work!
Is it "watashi wa gambarimasu?"

3.Don't worry.
Shinpai nai....it this correct too?

4.Let's do our best!
Isshou ni gambarimasu.

5.Amazing!!
Sugoi!!

"nen" is for years as in "12 years" of spying on a dog
"sai" is for years you are on this earth

å¹´ = nen
æ³ = sai

( actually you can say juugo nen for fun :P )

"i'm fine,thanks you"? = I'm fine. Thank you = genki desu. arigatou gozaimasu.

シェリル(sheriru) = sheryl

tensaku:

Juu Go nen(15 years old) = juu go sai

Mou sugu ni,koukou sei ni narimasu = cut the "ni" out

Watashi wa hitori de benkyou o suru,taihen da... = watashi wa jibun de benkyou wo shiteru kara, taihen da.
(I learn japanese on my own,it's quite hard...) <--- even the english grammar is weird...

Gomen ne,tasukete kudasai = meiwaku kakete, gomen ne. tasukete kudasai.
(sorry for bringing trouble,please help me) = also weird english...

"I'll be in the 10th grade next year"? = rainen wa juunensei ni narimasu.

1 = ichi
2 = ni
3 = san
4 = yon
5 = go
6 = roku
7 = nana/shichi
8 = hachi
9 = kyuu/ku
10 = juu

just a question.. so if you use tabesaserareta, it's somehow similar to the passive voice in english? because, based from the explanation, that was the impression that i got.. just correct me if i am wrong.

Re: Japanese Learners Club ^.^

nope brian san ;)
cuz if you put "wa" instead of "ni"
the sentence will turn out to be "that person will make someone/something eat food", however it's incomplete you see

"Saru ni tabesaserareta"
would turn out to be "I was told by the monkey to eat".

"what if i use this sentence to tell someone else and not using tabesareta?" (I don't quite understand, more clarification?)

Saru ni tabesaserareta

what if i use this sentence to tell someone else and not using tabesareta?

"sono hito ni"
Can I make this as a topic marker and put wa instead of ni?

Wow, this thread has grown ever since I went on hiatus.

Oh, and 守る, you can't say "tomodachi-tachi." If expressed in kana, it's "友達達." -tachi is negligible.

"Saru ni tabesaserareta. (I was eaten by a monkey)"
"Sono hito wa tabemono o tabesaseru yo. (Make that person eat the food)"
wa tadashikunain desu.

tadashii no wa:
saru ni tabesareta. ---> I was eaten by a monkey
sono hito ni tabemono wo tabesasete yo. ---> make that person eat the food

tabesaserareta is kinda like making/telling and causing effect to the person...
i'm not sure how to explain it though...

tatoeba: watashi wa sensei ni shiken wo watasaserareta.
I was told by the teacher to hand in the exam.

i am not at all familiar with saserareta but i think saseru is a verb, if i am not mistaken... that's the base form of the verb used for conjugating it... i hope this might help...

Wow, lots have happen for the past 6 days.

Now I am back.

Thx for the great help everybody but i have one tough question.

I was taking my JLPT 3 on Dec 2nd and I encountered the word tabesaseru....

and there is also a tabesaserareta....what is the differences between this 2....

Saru ni tabesaserareta. (I was eaten by a monkey)
Sono hito wa tabemono o tabesaseru yo. (Make that person eat the food)

These are sentences constructed by me so i do not know if it is ok or the usage of saserareta and saseru are correct or not.

I screw up a little on the grammer part...Some feed back would be really helpful.
