Personally, I think Samurai Champloo. I only saw 1 ep of Afro-Samurai, but it was pretty good as well. ^_^

YAIBA... i don't know if you watched this guys it's a very old anime but i really really like this... it aired in TV when i was just 5 years old... but i can still remember it

i like Peacemaker Kurogane the most...... the plot is light and funny but will be very serious when the shinsengumi goes out on their missions second on my list would be Rurouni Kenshin

I prefer Samurai 7 over any other samurai animes.. and also Afro Samurai!! all based on a different timeline.. Like a Futuristic Japan with samurai's.. ^_^ -Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask and he will tell you the truth.
